Construction of Additional Class Room Building at Melakottam Panchayat Union Middle School in Thiruthalaiyur Panchayat. Clearing jungle including uprooting of trunk vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Supplying and filling in foundations and basement with filling M sand in layers not exceeding 15 cm. thick, well watered ,rammed and consolidated etc. complete complying with standard specifications.

Plain Cement Concrete 1 : 4 :8 ( one part of cement, four parts of sand and eight parts of hard broken stone ) using 40 mm gauge hand broken hard broken granite stone jelly complying with standard specifications in foundations and basement.

Refilling the approved good quality earth in plinths, area development etc. wherever specified in layers is not exceeding 200 mm thick, with available earth at site.

Brickwork in CM 1:5 mix using chamber bricks ground maded of size 23 x 11 x 7 cm including cost and conveyance of all materials etc., complete.

Supplying and erecting Centering and Shuttering for soffits including necessary supports and strutting up to 3 M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using Mild Steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded Mild Steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at about 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13 cm dia spaced at not more than 75 cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specification.(Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid). RCC 1: 1/2 :3 mix using 20 mm ISS HBG metal for RCC items of work excluding items of works excluding centering,shuttering, and ost of reinforcement grill ,out including curing etc complete and also including fixing fan clamps and ixtures in rcc works wherever necessary as directed by departmental officer etc., complete.

Supplying fabricating and placing in position of ribbed steel rods for reinforcement to all RCC works as per the design given including cost of steel and binding wire also in all floors etc., complete

Fabricating Supply and fixing and position of MS doors with single leave. The door outer frame will be 40x40x6mm MS angle, the shutter frame will be 35x35x6 mm, MS angle intermediate stiffner will be 35x35x6 mm with cross stiffner 25x 25x5 mm flats covered with 18 gauge M.S. sheet with necessary hinges, tower bolts, aldrop length 30mm and hold fast etc., complete with one coat red oxideprimer. D3 door size 1.20mx2.10m

Fabricating Supply and fixing and position of MS Windows with two leave. The window outer frame will be 35x35x6mm MS angle, the shutter frame will be 25x25x6 mm, MS angle intermediate stiffner will be 25x25x6 mm with cross stiffner 25x 25x5 mm flats covered with 18 gauge M.S. sheet with necessary hinges, tower bolts, aldrop length 30mm and hold fast etc., complete with one coat red oxideprimer.

Providing and applying 10 mm thick Cement plaster in Cement mortar 1:3 ( One part of Cement and Three parts of Sand ), to finishing the exposed surfaces of R.C.C. items of works such as Roof (or) floor slabs, beams, and Sun shades etc.to correct plane and level including scaffolding, hacking of surface, chiselling the undulated surface wherever necessary and curing etc., all materials and labour complete in all respects including all lead, lift and descent and as directed by the Enineer in charge. This rate includes the cost of providing Cement Mortar beadings for sun shades, steps,landing slabs, elevation etc. complete complying with standard specifications.

Providing & applying 12 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:5 (1 part of cement: 5 parts of sand) to walls internally in single coat at all levels to correct line and level including chicken wire mesh at all joints of brick and concrete surfaces with minimum overlap of 150 mm in all directions, scaffolding, rounding off or chambering of corners, offsets, fin/ bands, projections, etc. and cleaning of surface, raking out joints, roughening of surface, chiseling the undulated surface wherever necessary and curing, etc., all materials and labor complete in all respects including all lead, lift and descent and as directed.

Plastering with cm 1:4 mix( one cement and four sand ) to 20 mm thick including cost and conveyance of all materials in all floors etc.,as directed by departmental officers etc, complete complying with standard specifications.

Flooring with following ceramic tiles of size 200 x 200 x 6 mm laid over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three Sand) base mortar over the existing slab / floor including cutting the tiles to the required size with special cutter wherever necessary, laying in position and pointing with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.3 Kg. / sq.m. etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make and brand of the tiles should be got approved by Executive Engineer before use on works).Basic cost-Rs.464/sq.m

Providing weathering course with best quality of brick Jelly 20mm gauge in pure slaked lime (no sand to be added) over roof slab,the proportion of brick jelly to lime being '32 to 12.5 well beated with wooden beaters for giving required slope and thickness as directed by the departmental officers.etc.

Finishing top roof mix one course machine pressed tiles of size 20 cm x 20 cm x 2 cm approved qty with,CM.1:3 12 mm thick mixed with WPC at 2% by weight of cement used and top pointed with the same mortar etc

Distembering two coats of oil bound distember using one coat of primer coat including cost & conveyance to size and all labour charges etc., complete.

Painting two coats with ready mixed Exterior Emulsion paint of approved qualityand colour over a priming coat, including through scrapping,clean removel of dirt etc complete .

Painting two coats of new iron work with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved quality and colour with priming coat including the cost all materials etc.,complete, in all floors.

Black board Painting two coats including cost and Conveyence of all charges etc.,complete

Supply and Fixing of Cudappah slab including cost and all labour chrges etc.

Electrification: a)Wiring with2*1.5 mm2 (22/.3) pvc insulated unsheathed sc Cu . Conductor of 1100 v grade in suitable PVC ridged pipe on wall and ceiling with PVC accessories with tw switch box inflush with wall covered hylum sheet of 3 mm thick with painting of suitable color for open PVC light point and fan point (for electronic regulator)

b)Supply and fixing of single Type street light Flu. fitting complete with copper choke and condensor with TW round blocks on wall or ceiling with flu tube with PVC unsheathed copper leads from terminals to the fittings for Street light

c)Supply and runoff 2 of 6 mm2 (84/0.3) pvc insulated SC unsheathed Cu.conductor of 1100 v on 7/20 Gi bearer wire for service connection main
