REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS, LT PANELS, AMF PANELS AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER GE CLEMENT TOWN

Comperehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodical routine maintenance and testing of DG set complete of following of one time in every three month (i.e. quarterly basis), as per manufaturere's instruction through authorised workshop/agency (i.e. Engine, alternator, radiator, battery & control wiring etc under GE Clement Town Dehradun, all including consumables like cotton waste cloth kerosene oil etc. Maintenance will be carried out as under for the following capacity of DG sets :- (i) Examine suction and exhaust valves in regard smooth operation. (ii) Examine and clean fuel injection, nozzles. (iii) Check clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required, (iv) Cleaning of oil filters, fuel filters screen filters assy. (v) Cleaning of DCA water filter. (vi) Making up coolant. (vii) Change of Hydraulic governor oil. (viii) Change of anerold oil (x) Clean alternator winding in position by forced air and internal surfaces lubricate DE & NDE bearings. (xi) Tightining of all nut bolts. (xii)Greasing of all points. (xiii)Test IR value of alternator winding and recording the readings (xiv) Checking of any leaking in fuel & oil lines (xv)Cleaning of fuel tank by take out dirt Note 1 :DHPP (N) required at the time of mainteance/testing will be issued by MES. Note 2 : Spare parts like oil filter fuel filter, Air flter ect. will be measured and paid separately

250 KVA capacity - 02 Nos, DG set of Kirloskar/cummins. Location :- Booster Pump House / Tube-well No 01 (Near Sainik Insititute), complete all as specified and directed.

200 KVA capacity - 02 Nos, DG set of Kirloskar/cummins. Location :- Main Pump House at GE CLT, D'dun, complete all as specified and directed.

160 KVA capacity - 01 No, DG set kirloskar. Location :- Section Hospital C/Twn, complete all as specified and directed.

100 KVA capacity - 07 Nos, DG set of Kirloskar/cummins. Location :- CWE (Hills) D'dun / Div HQ -02 Nos/Comn centre 14RSR / T-well No 03(MRS) / T-well No 04(Jungle area) / T-well No 05(APS), complete all as specified and directed.

63 KVA capacity - 02 Nos, DG set of Kirloskar/cummins. Location :- MRS 33 KV Sub Stn at GE CLT, D'dun, complete all as specified and directed.

35 KVA capacity - 01 No, DG set of Kirloskar/cummins. Location :- ASC Sup Buchary Filling point at GE CLT, D'dun, complete all as specified and directed.

10 KVA capacity - 02 Nos, DG set of Kirloskar/cummins. Location :- Stn HQ C/Twn & ASC Bn Fressh Point at GE CLT, D'dun, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & replacement of lubrication oil filter incl element with 'O' ring set of Make : MICO / Kirloskar / Ruston as required at site for 10 KVA capacities of DG Sets complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for lub oil SAE 15 W - 40 (Make : Castrol/Power Supreme) - for Top up and filling up the oil in the sump after completely flushing the old oil out of the tank and cleaning of the tank for fresh filling complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for distilled water to be filled in batteries complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting, removing and dismantling water radiator assembly of 10 KVA to 35 KVA DG set and descaling the radiator thoroughly completely with CTC solution/ any other chemical solvent agent as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, stopping of leakage at place to copper cores and tubes by brazing scrapping the existing oil paint, dusting and painting the radiator with enameled paint etc., re-installing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 25 above but for DG set of capacity 63 KVA to 160 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 25 above but for DG set of capacity 200 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12V 90 to 180 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte acid from the battery, filling up with new Electrolyte acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to 12V battery charging alternator assembly by removing, dismantling, replacing the unserviceable burnt rotor and stator assembly, assembly reaffixing to the engine and testing for satisfactory charging of battery complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 29 above but of 24V battery charging alternator complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to 12/24V self starter by removing, dismantling and taking it to authorised workshop and replacing unserviceable Armature including field coil tapping re-fixing to the engine testing for satisfactory function complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair complete Dry cell tubular type 12 V upto 180AH and initial charging complete including inbuilt charger including required electrolite /distilled water etc and fixing as required at site to the concerned DG Set complete all as specified and directed. Make: EXIDE model EL Plus

M&L for removing and replacing the old unserviceable AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) suitable for Kirloskar curve of capacity 160 KVA to 250 KVA, having input voltage 2 phase + neutral sensing voltage 415 output voltage 95V DC, output current 4A DC voltage regulation +/- 1 % average volts, over excitation current tripping, fuse protection 4A, fast acting and frequency 50 Hz complete all as specified and directed.Make : Kirloskar / Cummins/Crompton Greaves.

Overhauling, repairing and replacement of worn out parts of injector assembly, calibration and testing of fuel pump of 10 KVA to 35 KVA capacity DG set and testing on test bench and replacement of pump element, delivery valve, ball bearing and adjustment of injectors and setting of fuel pressure as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old painted surface and painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide of superior quality by spray painting machine for DG set cap 10 KVA to 35 KVA in authorised workshop / painter and write their SM / MES No etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for shifting of 100 KVA DG set of Make-Kirloskar with acustic enclosure with including AMF panel set after disconnecting electrical connections from Tube well- 14 ROU location to new location Tube Well No-05 (Near APS) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 Type C1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of 100 KVA DG set (size of plingth 3.5m x 2.25m x 0.75m) and AMF panel etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old corrugated iron type door hinges of DG set of any capacity and make, S&F new suitable size and capacity of brass polished hinges including brass polished nuts, bolts & washers complete set fixed to DG set door in authorised workshop complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm×6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to using galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.
