Attending complaint /Repair/rectification of leakages to under ground water supply distribution lines 40mm to 50 mm dia HDPE/PVC/PPR/ GI tubing with provision of necessary excavation, returning and filling in as required, tightening of loose joints of union, elbow, sockets etc, threading if required including replacement of HDPE/PVC/PPR/GI unions/sockets/nipples as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note :Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

All same as per item No 1.00 above but for GI tubing 80 mm dia

Attending routine complaints of over ground /on wall/on roof external water supply line including rectification of minor defects by taking down of existing HDPE/PVC/GI tubing up to 20mm/25 mm dia, cutting/threading and making joints and cleaning for any blockages, opening of float valve of service tanks, cleaning and fixing the same in its position, replacement of gate valve/float valve packing sheet of gate valve and including replacement of HDPE/PVC/ GI nions/sockets/nipples etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note :Spares HDPE/PVC/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M & L for Detection of leakage in main water line and attending break down of water supply pipe line and repair to CI /DI/HDPE water mains of size 80 mm to 100 mm dia at a given notice including necessary excavation in mud, in any type of soil by manual or using special T &P such as JCB etc. De-watering from the trenches by using pump sets, rectification of leakages, fixing of CI/DI/HDPE specials such as collars bends/tail pieces etc and making joints complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Repair rectified by caulking of CI pipe are deeemed to be incuded with unit rate of job. (ii) CI specials, lead Joints, D-Joints, Clamp joints, mechanical joint etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of sch 'A'. (iii) Hiring charges of JCB up to 4 hours if required is deemed to be included of unit rate of each job beyond 4 hours shall be measured and paid separately

All as per item No 4 above but for CI/DI water mains of size150 mm bore.

All as per item No 4 above but for CI water mains of size 200 mm bore. Notes for Sl item No 1 to 6:- (a) The contractor will be alloted complaints at MES complaint cell on daily basis on all working days and sufficient tradesman / resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day comaplaints within 12 hours from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of sufficient cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consultation with JE E&M/Engr-in-Charge. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangment for emergency complaints and will notify authorised representive/Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Airforce station at Makarpura. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare/fittings utilized as per inventry format given by AGE E/M and the same shall be submitted to E/M store yard on daily basis. (g) The stationery required for the job work such as complaints registers, job card and T&P shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. (h) The cost of excavation / earth work and repairs to damaged roads, LT UG/HT cables, existing structure etc shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate and no extra payment shall be allowed on this account. (j) Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Hiring of JCB beyond 4 hours for rectification of leakage required against item Nos 4 to 6 of BOQ. Note:- Quoated rates deemed to be included provision of oprataor of JCB and fuel required.

M &L for Cleaning and de-silting of RCC under ground sump with Chemical such as bleaching powder of following capacity after de-watering and cleaning scrapping with steel brushes/hessian cloths of the sump walls from inside and including floor of the sump complete and repair to vent pipes including providing wire mesh and clamps complete, providing two coat of white wash internally and writing Cleaning date and next due date with black enamel paint on white background complete all as specified and directed Note: If work is not done upto satisfaction level of concerned JE/AGE (E/M) , the work will be redone upto the required level without any extra cost. Necessary tools and safety measures to be arranged by contractor.

M & L for cleaning de-silting of Overhead tank of following capacity by scratching and cleaning inside walls,pillars and floors with bleaching powder and cleaning with water including taking out dirt, mud from storage tank including stag at site and removal from out side MD land and repair to vent pipes including providing wire mesh to cover all air gap holes and clamps complete providing two coat of white wash internally,and writing Cleaning date and next due date with black enamel paint on white background complete all as specified and directed . Note: If work is not done upto satisfaction level of concerned JE/AGE (E/M) , the work will be redone upto the mark without any extra cost. Necessary tools and safety measures to be arranged by contractor.

M & L for cleaning of static water tank(SWT) with all T&P and man power requered to pump out the existing water and removing the sludge and greet from 6f ft deep water collector and throwing it out side 50Mtr away from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Gland packing for sluice valve and pumps of size 6mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for dismantling of defective sluice valve for repairs such as repacking stuffing box of sluice valve spindle, refacing, grinding, stuffing and threading of spindle, replacement of worn out check nut, repairs to gate assembly replacement of jointing materials such as rubber sheets, nuts, bolts & washers, gland rope and refixing in its original position, testing on completion etc complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:-

Labour only for Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, along with existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well (approximately 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: - ( i ). Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

(ii). Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 50, The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints along with flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

Labour only for Lowering down of the submersible pump set of any description and any capacity & in any position, in bore well along with column pipe 100 mm dia and submersible cable of any size (approximately 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) including necessary repair of pump to make it functional to the entire satisfaction Engr-In-Charge after opening and replacing worn out parts complete all as specified and directed including making necessary electric connections & testing the pump set after lowering. Note:- Fixing of replaced serviceable parts deemed to be included in above quoted rates. However, required spare parts shall be measured and paid separately supply only under rspective item of BOQ.

Collection of water samples from pump house makarpura and submitting in Chief Water Analyst's Laboratory, Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine or any other goverment authorised organization and to analysis of the following properities (i) Physical examination (ii) Chemical examination (iii)Bacteriological examination (iv) Qualitative tests and collection of the reports from respective Deptt and submit the same to AGE E/M complete all as specified and directed Note : The rate is inclusive of testing charges of Deptt and sample collection plastic water cans complete
