Repair to pot holes depth exceeding 30mm, not exceeding 1 Sqm in area each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying rapid seeting emulsion grade tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 (Sqm), putting in premixed bituminous macadam and rolling for compaction complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with compressor air machine to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Applying Rapid setting emulsion grade RS1 tack coat @ 5 Kg / 10 Sqm over bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with paving bitumen VG-30 with min 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using hot mix process and laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in execution of work under this item on plus side. However price adjustment shall be made for less quantity of binder content. (ii) Rate of recovery for using less quantity of binder shall be deducted as per market rates as approved by the Accepting Officer.

M&L for providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (Retro reflective) of specified shade / colour usin hard thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, Glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and porfile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and accordance with manufacturers specifications.

Surface excavation of averaging 30cm deep and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface excavation of averaging 30cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soils exceeding 250m and not exceeding 500m depositing where complete all as specified and as directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting using hand roller exceeding 0.2 tonne and not exceeding 0.5 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for soling (sub base) of 150mm spread thickness with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layer with crushed broken granite trap or ballast stone boulders aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Number of layers is considered as two layers of 75mm thick.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finaly fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Applying Rapid setting emulsion grade RS1 tack coat @ 2.5 Kg / 10 Sqm cover evenly over macadam surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying rapid setting emulsion grade RSI tack coat 10kg/10sqm new surfaces on WBM cover evenly complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam (grading I as per SSR Part-I)laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with paving bitumen VG-30 with min 4% binder content by weight of total mix, using hot mix process and laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed (consolidated thickness 75mm or less).

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft and loose soil for road side berms complete all as specified and as directed.

Filling of 100mm compacted thickness of moorum / red bajri spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient as required complete all as specified and as directed.
