Providing post dated Damp Proof Course ( DPC ) ( Protect dampness due to capillarity) by racking out motar from brick work at least 100mm deep from both faces of wall at plinth height ( above Ground Level in this case on Damped area of wall ). The cavities formed must be cleaned of by flushing with clean water, the clean surface with open cavities are next treated with cement slurry to attempt to consolidate the friable areas. The consolidation treatment is followed by pressure grouting with a non srinkage cement mortar of close - spaced drilling ( average 150mm centres ) to be made and a silicone solutions in solvent and the siliconate / latex mixture ( Dr fix Super Latex) are pumped in under pressure. ( It require experienced contractor to carry out the installations work as this stage of work need the greatest skill and the most experience are needed.)

Larger( wide) Cracks Treatment: For stitching work a chase of 600mm to 900mm and at least 100mm deep should be cut across the fracture by diamond cutter machine. The chase should be cut clean and wash, the wetted chase area than filled one third with Cement mortar 1:1 ( 1 Non srinkage Cement : 1 course sand.) with Dr fix Pagel ZL 10 . A stainless steel strip of same size should be pressed home into the mortar and the chase flush filled. The stitches should be set across large fractures at approximately 1m centres. After stitching the fracture should be grouted with a liquid mortar.

Cracks treatment: Small fractures should be cut along the line of feature and clean with water jet and plugged with Cement mortar with Crack -X powder or Paste placed by hand. When the mortar has cued the fracture should be grouted with liquid mortar { The quantity of water should be enough to create a very mobile grout with 10% Dr fix Pagel ZS 10 with 1:1 cement mortar ( 1 Cement : 1 fine sand)}

Plastic Repair Technique for large molding : Under cut to provide key where Cornish molding to be repair or to be provide. For extended Cornish molding, drill and fix non-ferrous or stainless steel reinforcement with wire & epoxy ( these may range from simple pins to complex armatures.) Wash and sterilize the cavity with water & formalin. Place lime mortar (made with non-hydraulic hydrated lime mixed wet with brick aggregate in the ratio 1:5 ) compacting in layers not exceeding 10mm in thickness in any application. Allow each layer to dry out before rewetting and place the next. The Cornish may be finished directly to the required profile using a wooden tools. Size 0.42 x 0.25 cm
