Maintenance of the plants and Lawns in CPP area at HWP Manuguru for the year 2025-2027.

Maintenance of lawns and gardens by deploying adequate manpower, materials, tools/ tackles etc including plants, hedge, trees, shrubs, flower beds, foliages, creepers etc., in the lawn by deploying required man power (Malis, helpers etc complete) subject to the notes below, as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in-charge comprising of mainly following operations: (a) Watering entire area of the lawns, plants and shrubs in the lawns, hedges and flower beds daily except rainy season with suitable PVC lead hose pipes and sprinklers to keep the entire lawn / hedges & edges /plants and shrubs/ flowers beds within the lawn area in enlivened and well maintained conditions. (a) Sweeping the lawn area as per the schedule, removal of dry leaves, waste papers and any other waste, removing unwanted vegetation, old dead plants and replacing with new ones (a) Trimming of plants/trees/shrubs, Replacement of dead plants including (b) Hoeing, weeding out the lawns / hedges & edges /flowerbeds, around the plants and shrubs in the lawns, removing of dry leaves, unwanted wild growth and disposing the same as directed (c) Mowing the lawns with power mower driven Once in a month (Petrol / diesel /electrical operated) lawn mowing machines, sweeping of lawn area including diesel/petrol and other consumables(d) Applying insecticide, pesticide & fertizers (as and when required) (e) Trimming of Hedges and edges as per the schedule in decorative fashion/straight trimming by deploying skilled Mali as directed by the Engineer in charge to line, level & design (f) Top dressing of lawn with good earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of good earth to a part manure) and maintenance of other garden related works once in a month and (f) Maintain the lawn, plants, hedges in lush green throughout contract period and (g) Disposal of cut plants with in plant premises upto 2 kms lead as directed by the engineer, burn the same under controlled fire conditions with all safety precautions and including all other such related and incidental activities and expenditure to keep the lawn in lush green and eye pleasing condition etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Note : Cost of good Earth, manure, Fertilizer, insecticide, Pesticide will be paid separately & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel, other T&P material/ articles shall be provided by the contractor.

Providing and laying Neelgiri/Mexican /Korean grass turf or approved quality with earth 50mm to 60mm thickness of existing ground prepared with proper level and ramming with tools wooden (Dhurmos) and than rolling the surface with light roller make the surface smoothen and light watering with sprinkler and maintenance for 60 days or more till the grass establish properly, as per direction of officer-in-charge. (Note: cost of manure and god earth will be paid separately)

Providing manpower, tools/tackles etc. for periodical maintenance of hedge/plant by loosening the bed soil, cutting the hedge once in a month to line, level & design, daily watering the soil bed, making channels, disposal of cut plants within plant premises or upto 2 kms lead etc., applying farm yard manure with good earth in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of good earth to a part manure) at frequency of once in Two months. NOTE: 1) Unit of measurement is per sqm per month. Length at the top width is taken into account for the measurement. However complete hedge maintenance as indicated above shall be done and the Rate shall be Quoted accordingly. 2) Cost of manure will be paid separately.

Providing manpower, tools/tackles etc. for maintenance of trees/ plants/ flower bed/flower pots (Out side garden features), jobs like making of basin at regular interval, daily watering, weeding, pruning, loosening the soil with frequency of once in month & application of manure/ fertilizer to plant etc complete as and when required and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. Note- Cost of Manure/Fertilizer will be paid separately.

Providing and applying of Pesticides including all materials, manpower and tools/tackles etc., to control the termites, Insecticides and pests in lawn and plants with Chlorpyriphos 20% EC, Mono crotophos 36% SL and Premise 30.50% IP or Equivalent as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, applying and staking of farmyard manure for plants, lawns etc. at every alternate months or as per instruction of Engineer in charge, including transportation, spreading, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.

Supplying and stacking red soil suitable for Horticulture including royalty , preparing surface area, weeding and spreading of red earth in measured thickness, levelling and compacting if necessary etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge Note: Earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% towards voids for payment purpose

Supplying, transplanting and maintaining in good condition of seasonal seedlings (3 varieties in 3 seasons) and maintaining the same throughout the contract period from date of transplanting and as per direction of officer-in-charge, including cost of labour, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. Note: Cost of manure will be under relevant item.

Supplying and applying of UREA to the plants & lawns for maintain in lush green condition, including transportation ,spreading, watering etc. and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.

Supplying and applying of DAP to the plants & lawns for maintain in lush green condition, including transportation ,spreading, watering etc. and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.

Cleaning the grass and uprooting undesired plant/bushes having girth upto 10 cms measured at a height of 1 mts from ground level, disposing the waste material to the burning yard (within a week after cutting) and burning the same under controlled fire conditions etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.

Preparation & Supply of Flower Bouquets not less than 200 mm dia for the plant occasions in HWPM Plant as per instruction of Engineer - in - charge.

Supplying and Plantation of Seasonal flower plants, Ornamental plants, Ground cover plants, rose plants etc. of neat quality & condition in different types & variety at various locations of the plant site and providing all tools , tackles, men, materials for plantation including digging , soil mixing with manure and filling the manure mixed soil in pits, making of basin, watering, weeding and application of manure to plant etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge.(Cost of Manure will be paid separately)

Thuja compacta of height 75-90 cm., conical shaped, well formed with healthy foliage in earthen pot of size 30 cm as per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Plantation of Ashoka Trees / any other species at site i/c watering and removal of unsaverieable material’s as per direction of officer in charge.

Providing and Displaying of Standard Rose / any other species 3 to 4 healthy branch 90 cm and above ht. well developed with one and above flowers in 25 cm Earthen Potas per direction of the officer-in-charge.

Supplying and Plantation of plants in good condition in different types & variety like Mango,Amla,Guava, Bel pattra,Indian black berry etc. at various locations of the plant site on World Environment Day or any occasions and providing all tools , tackles, men, materials for plantation including digging pits , soil mixing with manure and filling the manure mixed soil in pits, making of basin, daily watering, weeding and application of manure to plant etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer - in - charge. Note: Cost of Manure will be paid separately
