TENDER FOR MISCELLANEOUS STRUCUTRAL WORKS IN PLANT AREA

Dismantling the MS fabricated structures both welded or bolted as the case may be of the existing Plant buildings, Pipe bidges members, walkways supports, platforms,equipment support, conveyer support etc. by gas cutting and disposing the same to company scrap yard after weighing the dismantled scrap material in the company weight bridge as directed by the E-I-C. Payment will be made as per the weighment slip and MRN accepted by commercial department The quantity identified as reusable materials from the dismantled members will also be given the dismantling rate.

Fabrication and erection for strengthening the existing damaged structures/replacing the corroded structures and for new MS structures as per the requirement at all elevation using departmental materials like beams, channels, angles, platesetc.The quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of consumables ,all labour charges for transportation of material inside plant premises, cutting, welding, fabrication, erection including removal and refixing the gratings/plates if required as directed by the E-I-C. Payment will be made as per the (IS) unit weight for the structural members used for the work (All structural steel materials will be issued free of cost from company store)

Fabrication and erection of hand rails using MS/GI pipe, used boiler tubes, MS angles including bottom guards using MS flat, if required, in levels to match with the existing hand rails.The quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of consumables ,all labour charges for transportation of material inside plant premises, cutting, welding, fabrication at all elevation as directed by EIC. The verticals and horizontals of hand rails should be welded properly to the supports, as directed (All structural steel materials will be issued free of cost from company store)

Fabrication and erection of MS gratings using Departmental Supplied materials as per the approved design and size as per the site condition. The grating shall be fabricated by welding at each and every joints/points. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of mechanical cleaning of all steel materials. Payment will be made as per the (IS) unit weight for the steel members used for the work. The gratings shall be stacked at the storage space shown by the EIC for inspection and shall be placed at the designated locations after application of specified system of paint. (Structural steel shall be issued free of cost from the KPPL store)

Surface preparation of newly provided steel members and by hand and power tool cleaning to the standard (St 2) (ISO 8501-1)Thorough hand and power tool cleaning,when viewed without magnification, the surface shall be free from visible oil , grease and dirt, and poorly adhering mill scale, rust, paint coatings and foreign matter. The work shall be carried out as directed by the EIC

Application of one coat of Primer Jotamastic 80 grey/interPlus 256 as per the direction of the E.I.C.The quoated rate shall be inclusive of tools and tackles,scaffolding,and labour charges for application of paint at all elevation. Excluding cost of paint

Application of one coat of Paint Hardtop XP Grey 38/Interzone 506 .The quoated rate shall be inclusive of tools and tackles,scaffolding,and labour charges for application of paint at all elevation.This finishing coat paint shall be applied using preferably with roller and shall give an even shade throughout .The entire work shall be carried out as per the direction of the E.I.C

Application of one coat of PUpaint Golden Yellow for hand rails as per the direction of the E.I.C.The quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of tools and tackles,scaffolding,and labour charges for application of paint at all elevation. The entire work shall be carried out as per the direction of the E.I.C

Supply Epoxy paint Hardtop XP grey 38 of M/s Jotun or /Interthane990 of M/s Akzonobel
