Designing of Airfield Lighting System for the Runway/Taxiway/Apron and Aircraft parking bays as per ICAO - Annexure 14, along with detailed quantity calculations in the subsequent schedule of quantities. The Design should include marking the AGL components, route of Primary and Secondary cable layout and integration of the new design layout with the existing Airfield Lighting Layout. It also includes GPS based co-ordinates by using total station and identifying the locations of light fixtures before light installation as per approved drawing and submission of reports / drawings in Auto-Cad etc. as required (Note : Rate shall be per fitting basis).

Supply of FAA Certified, Airfield Lighting (AFL) 5 KV grade, Single Core, Copper Conductor, Copper shielded, XLPE insulated, and with inner and outer semiconductor, Polyethylene (PE) outer sheathed, Copper Braid, Unarmored Underground Cable for airfield lighting Primary Circuit, confirming to specification as specified in technical specification and having shield resistance less than 5 Ohm per Km of the following size as required and suitable for communication on ALCMS system. (Make : FAA Certified makes) (a) 6 Sq. mm.

Supply of FAA Certified, 600V grade, two core, flexible copper conductor, EPR insulated & CPE-XL-HD (Chlorinated Polyethylene, Cross - linked, Heavy duty) outer sheath (Black color) Secondary cable for Airport lighting secondary circuits conforming to specification as specified in technical specification of following sizes as required. (Make: FAA Certified Makes). (b) 2C x 4 sq.mm.

Supply of Fire retardant Yellow-Green 4 sq. mm. Single Core PVC Insulated Industrial Grade Copper Conductor (Unsheathed) Flexible Cables, 1100 Volts Conforming to IS: 694-2010.

Supply of following sizes 5 KV grade dry type plug and receptacle of type I, class 'B' primary connector kit with field attachment and suitable for 5 KV grade single core copper conductor, copper braided, XLPE insulated PE outer sheathed shielded cable, complete as required and confirming to the technical specification. Supply of Elevated type, Uni-directional alternate flashing Runway Guard light fitting set (One set consisting of two lamps fitting on common central assembly), ICAO compliant, for aviation visual aids requirements suitable for CAT I , II & III all weather day-night operation, with two elevated fixed focus High Intensity fixture complete with lens/spreader glasses, lens holding mechanism, reflector assembly, mounting assembly, breakable coupling, gaskets, two pin secondary lead plug, base plate with six numbers M-10 stainless steel bolts, spring and plain washers, and with LED, driver unit and all other standard accessories complete as required. Dismantling of existing Elevated Rwy/Twy light fitting along with disconnection of primary side of IT & shortening the same, disconnection of secondary cable & secondary side of IT etc. in the housing boxes and covering the housing boxes with MS cover plates if required, returning the fittings temporarily to AAI Store as required as per directions of Engineer In-charge. In case of re-install of light at same location GPS coordinate have to be taken by using total station before dismantling work carried out.

Dismantling of 12" dia. Inset type Runway / Approach light fixture along with shallow base from bituminous/concrete pavement & fill the area with bitumen/cement concrete/early setting cement as per site requirement, i/c disconnection Isolating transformer primary & secondary side, disconnection of Primary & Secondary cable, again connection of Primary cable without IT for continuation of primary circuit, cleaning the shallow base and returning of Light fitting, shallow base, IT to AAI store complete as required.

Dismantling of 8" dia. Inset type Runway / Taxiway light fixture along with shallow base from bituminous/concrete pavement & fill the area with bitumen/cement concrete/early setting cement as per site requirement, i/c disconnection of Isolating transformer primary & secondary side, disconnection of Primary & Secondary cable, again connection of Primary cable without IT for continuation of primary circuit, cleaning the shallow base and returning of light fitting, shallow base, IT to AAI store complete as required.

Dismantling of cable (both AGL primary and secondary cable) from existing pipe/ Duct/ kerf cutting channel etc. from the Box of size up to 25 Sq. mm, up-to 5 KV grade and returning to AAI store.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of elevated Runway/Taxiway light fittings on existing transformer housing box including installation of isolating transformer, connections etc. and supply of all materials complete as required for commissioning of light fitting except supply of fixture, isolating transformer, plug & receptacles.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of inset type Runway/Approach light fitting of 12 inch dia. with core cutting, aligning and setting after identifying GPS coordinate i/c providing sealing material and installation of Isolating Transformer, connection etc. including supply of all materials for commissioning of the light fitting complete as required except supply of fixture, isolating transformer, plug & receptacles.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of inset type Runway/Taxiway light fitting of 8 inch dia. with core cutting, aligning and setting after identifying GPS coordinate i/c providing sealing material and installation of Isolating Transformer, connection etc. including supply of all materials for commissioning of the light fitting complete as required except supply of fixture, isolating transformer, plug & receptacles.

Supply & Installation of up-to 100 mm high MS collar with suitable design for holding the Runway Edge / taxiway edge lights on top and bottom bolted to the existing box / shallow base of isolating transformer housing box including cement concreting, painting, sign writing etc. complete as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Supply & Installation of up to 200 mm high MS collar with suitable design for holding the Runway Edge / taxiway edge lights on top and bottom bolted to the existing box / shallow base of isolating transformer housing box including cement concreting, painting, sign writing etc. complete as required and as per directions of the Engineer In charge.

Laying of one number PVC/XLPE insulated & PVC sheathed, armored / unarmored, aluminum / copper conductor AFL / power cable of voltage grade exceeding 1.1 KV but not exceeding 11 KV of size not exceeding 25 sq. mm. in the cable duct / masonry trench / RCC / HUME / METAL / GI / HDPE pipes etc. as required.

Providing and fixing 6 SWG dia. G.I. wire on surface or in recess or along with cable for loop earthing etc. as required.

Laying of one number 2C x 4 sq. mm AFL secondary cable along with 1C x 4 sq. mm earth cable of voltage grade not exceeding 1.1 KV in the METAL / GI / HDPE pipes etc. as required.

Kerf cutting with machine in taxiway/runway/apron of PQC/bituminous surface of depth up to 50 mm and width up to 15 mm for 1 or 2 nos. secondary lead along with earth cables and laying of secondary lead and earth cable by wrapping cotton tape i/c refilling the same by suitable sealing material (Pidilite) etc. complete as required and as per instruction of Engineer in-Charge.

Kerf cutting with machine in taxiway/runway/apron of PQC/bituminous surface of depth up to 80 mm and width up to 15 mm for 3 or 4 nos. secondary lead along with earth cables and laying of secondary lead and earth cable by wrapping cotton tape i/c refilling the same by suitable sealing material (Pidilite) etc. complete as required and as per instruction of Engineer In-Charge.

Making connection of 5 KV grade, 6 Sq. mm Copper conductor, Copper shielded, XLPE insulated, Polyethylene (PE) outer sheathed, Copper Braid cable with dry type plug & receptacle of type I, class 'B' i/c crimping & fixing, applying HT tape etc. as well as checking continuity with the existing circuits etc. complete as required as per direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Making end termination of 2C x 4 sq. mm. multi stranded annealed copper conductor, unshielded secondary airfield lighting cables with secondary connector kit connecting one end at fitting side and other end towards isolating transformer end etc. complete as required.

Dismantling of Transformer housing boxes of sizes up-to 750 mm x 350 mm x 450 mm (H) from or 330 mm x 330 mm x 450 mm (H) made out of 6mm thick MS sheet and top cover 10 mm thick MS sheet from soft soil i/c excavation of soil, disconnection of primary cable, connection, removal of isolating transformer, ASD if any, secondary connection, cable, earth wire, cleaning of box etc. as per site condition and transportation to AAI store etc. as required.

Fabrication, supply & installation of MS Transformer Housing Boxes of size 750 mm x 350 mm x 450 mm (H) made out of 6 mm thick MS sheet all round and top cover 10 mm thick MS sheet having a clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 nos. M10 tapped holes at the hole center of 260 mm to receive light fittings base plate & 06 nos. of hole on edges and 12 nos. bolts washer, rubber gasket etc. The box shall have holes in the center at 150 mm above bottom surface at two / three / four sides suitable to receive 50 mm dia. GI pipe or 63 mm dia. HDPE pipe, having two earth bolts of M10x40 mm. and a drain pipe of 40 mm dia. at the bottom to connect drain pipe GI/MS/HDPE pipe, all inserts should be suitable for M-10 size bolt & shall be of SS including painting of box with one coat of red oxide primer & two coats of black enamel paint and installation using cement concrete 1:2:4, 100 mm all around the box and pedestal of 0.30 m & 0.10 m thick all around the box making suitable slope to level of runway/taxiway all around the housing box and lettering, numbering etc. complete as required. a) Installation of housing box in bitumen pavement / concrete area of Runway/Taxiway/Apron.

Installation of Old/existing MS Transformer housing Boxes of size 750 mm x 350 mm x 450 mm (H) made out of 6 mm thick MS sheet all round and top cover 10 mm thick MS sheet having a clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 nos. M10 tapped holes at the hole center of 260 mm to receive light fittings base plate & 06 nos. of hole on edges and 12 nos. bolts washer, rubber gasket etc. The box shall have holes in the center at 150 mm above bottom surface at two / three / four sides suitable to receive 50 mm dia. GI pipe or 63 mm dia. HDPE pipe, having two earth bolts of M10x40 mm. and a drain pipe of 40 mm dia. at the bottom to connect drain pipe GI/MS/HDPE pipe, all inserts should be suitable for M-10 size bolt & shall be of SS including painting of box with one coat of red oxide primer & two coats of black enamel paint and installation using cement concrete 1:2:4, 100 mm all around the box and pedestal of 0.30 m & 0.10 m thick all around the box making suitable slope to level of runway/taxiway all around the housing box and lettering, numbering etc. complete as required. a) Installation of housing box in bitumen pavement / concrete area of Runway/Taxiway/Apron

Laying of following size permanently lubricated HDPE (high density polyethylene) pipe along-with accessories like coupler, bend, tee etc. below the ground (i/c Road crossing, Cement concrete Apron Area) at a depth of 3 m to 5 m through Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and placing end cap at both ends, after doing Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey and submitting its report of the Underground Utilities etc. complete as required as per the Technical Specifications. Up to OD 63 mm/ ID 50 mm.

Laying of following size high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe of OD 63 mm along with accessories like couplers, bends, tee etc. in the shoulder/runway/taxiway/apron for GLF work i/c machine cutting of runway/taxiway/shoulder bitumen/concrete surface of width 110 mm and up-to 200 mm deep and taking the excavated material out of the area within a lead of 2 kms. & refilling & making good the same by concrete of grade 1:2:4 or more as per the site requirement.

Laying of 63 mm dia. OD HDPE pipe/50mm dia. DWC pipe, complete with accessories like coupler, bend, tee etc. direct in ground for GLF work up to 750 mm deep including excavation, back filling the trench & making good the surface etc. as required.

Laying of high density polyethylene HDPE pipe of OD 50mm/ID 42mm dia. complete with accessories as required like couplers, bends, tee etc. from transformer housing box to existing GI/DWC/HDPE pipe which are disturbed during civil construction work in soil/bitumen.

Laying of 25 mm dia. GI pipe (heavy class) complete with accessories like couplers, bends ,tee etc. complete as required and clamped every 100 cm apart with suitable size U type GI Strip 32 X 6 mm of (approx.) 210 mm length pieces, the GI Strip shall be clamped with the existing Concrete Surface by firstly drilling two nos. holes matching the anchor fastener dia., cleaning the holes ,and then inserting two nos. of 10 mm dia. Anchor Bolt type Fastener of 60-100 mm length(approx.) inside the drilled hole as per the site requirement and as per directions of the EIC.

Laying of 40 mm dia. GI pipe (Medium class) complete with accessories like socket, bends, tee etc. complete as required. for GLF work including machine cutting of shoulders / runway /taxiway surface in concrete area of width 120mm and up-to 150mm deep, by saw cutting machine, taking the excavated material out of the area within a lead of 2 kms and after cleaning pipe channel by air compressor machine applying tack coat of grade VG-10 and refilling with Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (Bituminous mix as per the technical Specifications of Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC)) & as per the site requirement and as per directions of the EIC.

Earthing with 'B' class G. I. earth pipe 4.5 meter long, 40 mm dia. including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement & watering pipe etc. without charcoal/ coke and salt complete as required.

Construction of brick masonry chamber with bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and R.C.C. top slab surrounded by 'C' type iron frame (5 mm thick) with 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) and hooking arrangement for easy lifting the top slab and the foundation concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 fine sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size), inside plastering 12 mm thick with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement on walls and bed concrete etc. with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non-modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 complete as per standard design: (Inside dimensions 1200 x 1200 mm and 1000 mm deep) i/c submission of GPS coordinate at each chamber location etc. and as per direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) including any form of work etc. as required.

Supply, making & laying of primary leads of 6 sq. mm, 5 KV Grade Primary Cable with crimping of Male and Female connectors at both the ends for temporary arrangement for all the circuits disturbed during pavement repairing work by civil deptt. (to operationalize the other part of the runway/taxiway). This job involves supply of Cable, Primary Connectors of approved make list, making the primary leads of size as per site requirement each with crimping Primary connector one side Male and other side female and checking its continuity & making temporary arrangement involves disconnection of the affected part of circuits, dismantling of fittings, opening of M S Housing Boxes, diversion of cables, connection, interconnection with existing circuit and loop circuits to provide the fully functional system on the balance part of the runway/taxiway during the progress of the work and again reinstallation of fitting, connection of circuits etc. while handing over the same to operation by the end of the NOTAM period including all materials, tools, spares, labors, consumables, etc. as per directions of the Engineer In charge.( the Materials should be in sound condition and shall be property of AAI after the Job completion )

Provision of 02 nos. of AAI Work Assistant having GLF Experience of 02 years minimum with minimum educational qualification of B-tech / Diploma in electrical with basic computer knowledge of MS office and Diploma in Auto CAD software.

Providing of one no vehicle (Bolero/Sumo Scorpio) with AC along with driver, POL for monthly run up-to 1500 KM including all-expense paid for 10 hours a day any time in all days including Sunday /Holiday as per site work requirement.

Supplying & Fixing of EJ Pit covers of model no. HH9S091091TW( F900) of size 914 mm x914 mm with spring assist Hinge hatch cover , Stainless Steel spring strut including highly water resistant and cross shaped locking key and hook( for easily locking as well as lifting the cover) etc. as required and as per site requirement.
