Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in ordinary soil / mixed soil i.e. clay mixed with moorun , kankar, pebbles / silt dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator of required bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading , leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. ( mode of measurement : pre work and post work)

Excavation in gravel / moorum / kankar / compact moorum / very much weathered rock / sticky soil mixed with moorum or ghooting for WDS / WHS / RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator of required bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading , leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. ( mode of measurement : pre work and post work)

Excavation in soft weather rock / solt laterite rocks for WDS / WHS/RESERVOIR / SFMIS etc with hydraulic excavator of required bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grades and cross section and transporting to embankment/ disposal site within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m including spreading, leveliing disposed spoils at disposed area. (mode of measurement : pre work and post work)

Turffing with Chorkata or durba grass sods 5 cm to 8 cm thick in slope,crest,berms etc. of embankments,canals and drainage channels etc. within a lead of 250 metre and all lifts including fine dressing, watering ramming guarding etc. Complete (sods will have to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Payment to be made on grown grass only).

Extra rate over Item no 5 for each additional lead of 75 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 150metre upto 750 metre

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). 25mm to 30mm shuttering without staging in foundation

Providing and laying cement concrete pipe NP3 with spigot socket for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing with cement mortar 1:2 as per Technical Specification clause 1106 for Rural roads of MORD drawing and Technical specifications. for 600 mm dia pipe

Ordinary Cement concrete (Mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips ( 20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in gound floor as per relevant IS code.a)Pakur variety

Precast cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed size and specification with well graded stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming, Shuttering finishing the top surface with 1:3 cement and sand mortar curing, transporting and laying the blocks or lining units at work site in position over filter layer, keeping a gap of 6 mm between the adjacent units, by use of removable ply Boards or non removable thermocol boards with all leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete. (The Rate is exclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site. Construction wing has to add the cost of same from the SOR of PW(Roads) to derive consolidated rate). Consumption chart of the USOR may be used for assessing the quality of coarse aggregates as per Cum of concrete) Block size 450 mm x 450 mm

Construction of a Sign board of size 1.50 m x 1.20 m made of brick masonary (1:4) cement mortar 125 mm thick inside sourrounding with 250 mm x 250 mm thick out side, foundation depth 0.60m, with 15 mm thk plaster(1:6). Lettering should be done with approved black paint over yellow background complete as per direction of E-I-C.

(Payment will be made on the centre line measurements of total pipe line including all specials. No separate payment will be made for accesories, specials. Painting block letters or digits in Black Japan or any approved paint as per direction.

Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary.(a) on timber or plastered surface :(iv)two coats (with any shade except white)
