Civil Works : - Designing, constructing, testing and commissioning of flexible intake system with structural steel trolley mounted Raw water pumps. Trolley arrangement shall move on rail sections which shall be erected on RCC bed in CC 1:2:4 to premit/control the movement, winch crab of required capacity (Minium 10 MT ) and wire rope arrangmenet shall be provided. Standard rail section (for meter gauge) as per relevant IS code shall be used. Flexible intake system shall be designed to work efficently under worst daily water level fluctuations. All steel work shall be painted with approved primer and anti-corrosive paint. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work including construction Winch Room, Geotechnical investigations etc. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the intake system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account .
Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of water treatment plant in 1.23 MLD (with 16 hours working per day) the shape of Rapid sand filters including cost of construction of civil works, hoisting and errection of all steel works, providing and installation of all mechanical/Electrical equipments/accessories, laying of all interconnecting GI/MSERW pipes and scouring arrangements from all units with disposal of the same to the boundary of structures, all types of valves, fittings and all contingent works capable of taking input and giving output as laid down in chapter-I of CPHEEO manual under all climatic conditions specified therein. The treatment plant includes Raw Water Tank, Inlet Chamber, inlet channel, Parshall flumes, C/O pre-sedimentation tank , wash lime solution tanks, Alum solution tanks with Dozining arrangement, Flash mixer, Mechnical Clariflocculator, Rapid sand filters, pipe gallery and clear water tank and plant building accommodating alum store, chemical handling and feeding room with safety measure, back wash pump cum air compressors room, pannel room, water testing laboratory and attendant room. The cost shall include office furniture also, providing and fixing of lighting arangements complete in all respect. Providing and fixing all electrical/Mechanical equipments, proper walk way for Inspection/ operation of various units, Providing and setting up of all laboratory equipments etc. as per CPHEEO manuals appendix 15.90 (category-II) of 1999 addition shall be provided . Sizes of various units shall be based on manual of water supply and treatment published by CPHEEO. The design of various units shall conform to relevant IS Codes and specifications. All the water retaining stuctuctures shall be designed and constructed in RCC as per latest IS Code Site development i.e retaining wall/brest wall additing required to make platform for WTP. The components such as site development, C/O PCC/RCC retaining walls, breast walls upto battery limits of WTP, Dewatering, Approach road, interconnecting beatification including all allied works complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Battery limits shall be considered as 3.00m from the edge of the structure of the boundary of the land whichever is less. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully fucntional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.Site development i.e. retaining wall/breast wall additing required to make plateform for WTP.

Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, Sanitary works i.e., refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks . The welding of flanges to be done on both faces using minimum three layers (one inner side and two outer side) of welding so as to make the joints leakproof and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The laying of pipe shall conform to IS: 5822-1994 (latest with uptodate ammendments) and as per CPHEEO manual. The laying will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing and including manufacuring reducers/tapers, all short pieces, and bends with flange of appopriate table as per site requirement and made from parent tubes( to be measured and paid alongwith pipes). Bends shall be manufactured in such a way that not more than 11-1/4 degree deflection is caused by a single cut and internal dia is not reduced including hydraulic testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge in all leads and lifts. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736-1986 (with upto date ammendments) with mass of zink coating not less than 400 Kg/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight of pipes will not be accepted. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts.
