LINE PIPE STORAGE YARD / DUMP YARD MANAGEMENT IN THE STATE OF ASSAM FOR BARAUNI GUWAHATI PIPELINE PROJECT (BGPL)

SECTION-A MAINTENANCE OF NEW DUMP YARD

Storage yard / dump yard development and restoration including but not limited to the following: - Storage yard / dump yard development within approx. 10 kms radius of existing dumpyard/ pipeline route in or near Distt. Barpeta - Arrangement for Land lease for land of min 0.25 Acre (approx. 1000 m2 ) area for Storage yard/ dump yard suitable to store approx. 1.185 km of 24" x 16.5/15.1 mm API 5L Gr. X-70 PSL-2 pipe as per relevant codes and guidelines . - All civil works within the Storage yard/ dump yard required for temporary storage of pipes in all types of soils such as site grading, clearing, cutting, leveling, filling-up, providing temporary internal roads duly compacted for movement of cranes/trailers/hydra within the Storage yard/ dump yard, providing temporary fencing and gates/barrier, area lighting, cabins etc. as per the relevant drawings and other requirements indicated in the tender document. - In case any tree cutting is involved, the disposal of uprooted trees shall be as per prevailing environment protection law - Making approach road as required to the Storage yard / dump yard from the nearest main road including compensation to land owner(s) for the approach road, permission for the approach road, etc - Taking over, receipt, handling and transportation of pipes from the existing dumpyard to the new dumpyard, unloading at new dumpyard, stacking as per approved procedures shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Address of the existing dumpyard has been provided elsewhere in the tender document. - Stacking and storage of approx.1185 mtr (+/- 24 mtr) 24" x 16.5/15.1 mm WT Gr.X70 coated & bare Carbon Steel Line Pipe (average length of 12.0 mtr) as per approved procedures. - Maintaining stock register etc., carry out documentation etc. as per instruction of GAIL/ MECON.

- Maintaining suitable Storage yard / dump yard facilities including preservation, traceability & security etc. - Arranging round the clock security. - Intimating GAIL/ MECON regarding any coating damage, if any, before unloading/ receipt of pipes at existing Storage yard / dump yard. Joint report for receipt of pipes signed by bidder and supplier to be provided. - All coating damages when noticed during the handing over of pipes to owner's authorized representative as per the instruction of the owner/ owners representative, shall be repaired by Storage yard / dump yard management Agency till expiry of contract. - Restoration of land to original status before handing over the land to the land owner. - Furnshing No Dues/ No objection certificate from land owner upon handing over the land to its owner after completion of work. Note: 1. Bidder shall prepare a detailed development plan of Storage yard / dump yard including approach road and obtain MECON/GAIL’S approval prior to acquisition of land and commencement of Storage yard / dump yard development works. 2. Bidder shall complete the entire works as per scope of works enclosed with the bid document. 3. In case of Storage yard / Dump Yard Management period of less than 30 days, payment for storage and isurance shall be done on pro rata basis (considering 30 days in a month). 4. Bidder must mandatorily submit committment letter from land owner/s along with their bid. 5. Payment shall be made as per Payment Terms defined in the tender.

All activities as mentioned above without deployment of crane/ hydra of shifting of suitable capacity to handle the pipes.

Deployment of one hydra for loading of pipes during shifting /loading of pipes. Note: The deployment days of hydra may or may not be continous.

SECTION-B (INSURANCE OF LINEPIPE)

Insurance of Linepipe (coated & bare) of value of Rs. 2.36 Crores during storage period.

GST (CGST&SGST/UTGST or IGST) in percentage (%) on net Total Amount (The quantity mentioned in this row may be ignored)

Address of the existing dumpyard has been provided elsewhere in the tender document. Contractor shall be required to land lease min 0.25 Acre (approx. 1000 m2 ) of land for storage yard/ dump yard suitable to store approx. 1.185 km of 24" x 16.5/15.1 mm API 5L Gr. X-70 PSL-2 pipe as per relevant codes and guidelines . - Taking over, receipt of pipes from the existing dumpyard contractor. - Storage of approx. 1185.296 mtr (+/- 24 mtr) 24" x 16.5/15.1 mm WT Gr.X70 coated & bare Carbon Steel Line Pipe (average length of 12.0 mtr). - Maintaining stock register etc., carry out documentation etc. as per instruction of GAIL/ MECON. - Maintaining suitable Storage yard / dump yard facilities including preservation, traceability, security and insurance etc. - Arranging round the clock security. - Intimating GAIL / MECON regarding any coating damage, if any, before / receipt of pipes at Storage yard / dump yard.
