Outsourcing for maint & operation of air cooled scroll chiller type central AC plants of 240 TR (3x80 TR) Capacity (2 units running at a time and one unit stand by) in two shifts per day (each shift of 8 hours continous duration) installed and provided under this contract in CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING by providing services of one maintenance supervisor (ITI qualified or 5 years experience in particular trade) for the plants and one helper all as specified and directed by EIC. Note :- Total man power per shift for the plants - Ref Mech operator-01 No. (i) The rate quoted is also deemed to be included the cost of one emergency light, ond dry cell torch, first aid box, oe electrical shock treatment board, plant operational schematic diagram, dos and dont's chart, uniform for operotor of the plant individuals working in the above location (ii) The duration of work shall be carried out continuously in two shift for hangers consisting of 8 hours per each shift including sundays and holidays. (iii) The unit rate is deemed to be included for charging of refrigrant gas, filling compressor oil, maintaining log books, record of repairs / replacement of defective / unserviceable consumable such as grease, cotton, cloth, cotton waste, emery paper, soap precipitate gland rope, teflon tape, and washers, minor adjustments, minor repairs of all accessories, cleaning/upkeeping of the plant and surrounding area of AC plant and weekly maintenance of checking / servicing / repairs of electrical panel boards / electrical connection. (iv) Plant will be handed over to the contractor in good condition for maintenance and operation. The same shall be handed over to the department in good condition on completion of work and entire satisfaction of EIC. (v) Maintinance months given under shall commence Immediately after satisfactory completion of Phase-I and Phase-II respectivelly.

Outsourcing of DG Set installation at Technical area (251 Army Avn) Ralawas under AGE (I) Nagtalao incl LT distribution system and its allied system in two shifts and including operation of the following equipment/Machinery as and when required including collection of Diesel from store yard and filling in different DG Sets complete all as directed by Engr-in Charge. (i) DG set 320 KVA -03 Nos (251 Army Avn Sqn) (ii) Maintenance of Battery pertain to above DG Sets. The following minimum staff be employed by the contractor for manning and operation of DG Sets Helper -01 Nos in each shift for two shift (ie 06.00 to 14.00 Hrs, 14.00 to 22.00 Hrs) , Timing for the Operation of DG set may be vary as per night flying schedule. Note:- The Operator of central AC Plant will also operate 03 Nos DG Set installed at Sub station of 251 Army Avn Sqn with the help of helper catered against operation of DG Set.

Note:- (a) The following Penal Recoveries will be made effective in case of non supply of services; Non Supply of FGM - 1500 Rs Per Shift

(b) The penal recoveries will be made effective in case of non supply of services without any intimation to department. If contractor is informing the department well in advance (min 01 day) that due any exigency/emergency, he is not in a position to deploy any workmen, the previous shift tradesman will be continued & payment shall be made double (as per existing rules & regulations of factory act) and recovery will be made separately for non provision of regular shift tradesman treated as absent. This will be at pure discreation of AGE(I) to accept the claim of exigency of contractor.

(C) The above quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of provision of Transportation, T&P, all Taxes etc, Suitable dress for Workmen and Necessary Security Apparatus etc. The suitable dress for Workmen will be decided in Consultation with AGE (I). The dress for workmen will be as per existing Industrial/ Labour Laws Their dress will bear the Name of Military Engineer Service, AGE (I) Nagtalao.

(d) The wages paid to the various workman should be as per minimum wages as paid by central govt. It will imclude basic min wages, PF, ESIC, bonus, etc as per existing central govt acts which are The Minimum Wages Act 1948, The Payment of Wages Act 1936, The Payment of Bonus Act 1965, The Equal Remuneration Act 1976, The weekly Holidays Act 1942, The building and other construction worker's (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act 1979, The contract Labour (regulation and abolition) act 1970, The employees provident fund and misc provisions act 1952 , The employees state insurance act 1948, The payment of gratuity act 1972, The building and other construction workers cess act 1996 and all amendments to these acts as per their enactments.

(e) The complete plant of installation in working condition shall be handed over to the contractor at the time of commencement of work and contractor has to return the same in working condition after completion of the contract period

(f) Maintaining the records such as log sheet, log book, Earth testing register of Panel boards, transformers and all records shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge or his rep at the time of RAR's

(g) Area in and around the installation shall be kept neat and clean includinng removing of grass, bushes & trimming of trees.

(h) Bidders are advised to keep the above points in mind while quoting the rates, Once the rates are quoted it is deemed that they have gone through these provisions / notes.
