Carrying out Geotechnical Investigation at Teressa island in Andaman and Nicobar for CSS Phase II project

Carrying out 150 mm diameter boring in all soils other than rock upto refusal strata (N>75) for depth from existing ground level upto 10 m

Drilling in rocks of NX size including collection of rock core samples using double tube core barrel for weathered / disintegrated / soft rock (RQD<50%) using Tungsten Carbide bit.

Drilling in rocks of NX size including collection of rock core samples using double tube core barrel for Hard rock (RQD>50%) using Diamond bit.

Conducting following tests for rock samples: a) Unit weight b) Specific Gravity c) Porosity of rock sample d) Unconfined/Uniaxial Compressive Strength (both saturated and at in-situ water content) e) Point load index test (both saturated and at in-situ water content)

Conducting test for soil resistivity measurement using four pole fall of potential (Wenner Method) in the vicinity of the building at specified point at the location of each building (1 set) and recommendations for the type of earthing system as per latest IS-3043 (The measurement shall be done preferably in dry condition at least 72 hours after the last rainfall).

Mobilisation and Demobilisation of Electrical Resistivity test equipments, personnel and all other machinery, tools, plant and materials including all accessories from the site etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
