Manning, operation and maintenance of fire pump house along with 200 KVA DG set at INS Viswakarma, NBCD (V) including operating the sewage pumphouse at NBCD (V) round the clock in three shift per day including sundays and holidays complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note:- (i) Man power minimum one skilled and one semi-skilled operator (Total 02 Persons) per shift of 08 hrs. Shift timings Ist shift - 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs IInd shift - 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs IIIrd shift - 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs (ii) Rotationally checking/ operationg of fire fighting pump motors, should maintained in separate register as per the format directed by EIC. (iii) In case any power failure 200 KVA DG set shall be operated as early as possible. (iv) Fire hydrants as hydrant wise and fire fighting lines from SWS to BV Yard shall be rotationally checked and checking details should be maintained in register as per the format directed by Engineer-in-charge. (v) Maintain logsheet for fire fighting pumphouse and 200 KVA DG set

Manning, operation and maintenance of pump houses at SWS, BV (Y) including periodical maintenace of pump sets & LT panels, pressure vessel and accessories with minimum one operator per shift of 08 hrs round the clock including sundays and holidays complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. ManPower:- One skilled operator per shift of 08 hrs Shift timings Ist shift - 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs IInd shift - 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs IIIrd shift - 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs

Manning, operation and maintenance of valves in INS viswakarma, CTW areas in two shifts per day including Sundays and holiday’s comprising of the following complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Man power: 1 Semi-skilled labour (One Valve man) per shift Shift Timings:- 2 shifts per day timings as under Ist shift: 04.00 to 12.00 Hrs IInd shift: 12.00 to 08.00 Hrs

Notes:- Trouble free sluice /gate valve operating and distribution of regular drinking water to the Vishal block, CTW areas in proper time. (b) Checking Mild steel suction and delivery pipes, UG sumps, valve chambers, maintaining cleanliness of installations etc., (c) Checking the functioning of LT panel including accessories viz starters etc., of Vishal block pump house (d) Adding suitable quantity of chlorination/ bleaching powder to sump water.

Note for SL item No. 1 to 3:- a) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge.

M&L for cleaning of UG sump of 25000 Gallons capacity by pumping out the accumulated water in the bottom and removing the complete silt from the sump and depositing at a distance not exceeding 50 metres and levelling as directed and cleaning with bleaching powder and wire brushing the sump after scrapping the walls and bottoms of the sumps completely without disturbing the inlet and outlet connections including painting the sump and lettering the sump capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning on the sump wall and applying one coat of white wash to entire sump all as per directed.

M & L for Jungle cleaning by cutting and clearing away all grass vegetation, wild growth, sapling, shrubs, brushwoods, under growth roots, cutting of bushes, tree trunk of girth not execeeding 30 cm, cutting of trunk, portion protuding over ground, filling holes and leveling of ground and removing unserviceable materials to a distance n.exe 50m, compelte all as speicified

M & L Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint. Including numbering of stand post and hose box at places where required. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rectification of existing defective flanged joints with rubber or fibre gasket complete with necessary nuts, bolts and washers for 80 mm dia GI/DI/MS pipes complete all as directed. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of cutting of GI/DI/MS Pipes, jointing materials and preparation of new flanged sockets and refixing the same at existing place.

M&L for maintenance of diesel Engine connected with DG Set 125 KVA for 'B' check as per recomendation of manufacturers instructions including replacement of filters, accessories like fuel filter with ring, Air filter and ring , super bypass filter element , 'O' Ring seal, Oil filter and engine Oil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for maintenance of diesel Engine connected with DG Set 200 KVA for 'B' check as per recomendation of manufacturers instructions including replacement of filters, accessories like fuel filter with ring, Air filter and ring , super bypass filter element , 'O' Ring seal, Oil filter and engine Oil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for maintenance of Diesel engine operated fire fighting pump in fire fighting pump house of 97 BHP as per the recommendation of manufacturer including replacement of necessary recommended filters, spares including necessary engine oil and rewinding of burnt starter windings the rate quoted is inclusive of replacement of old silencer suction bent pipe, head cleaning, tapet setting all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for painting of installed Pump sets including connected pipes laid within the pump house area as per the existing colour code with one coat of synthetic enamel paint for Centrifugal/Monoblock pump set of 100 HP capacity including writing letters with paint MES/SM, Serial No and vintage of pump sets with suitable colour all as specified and directed by the Engr-In-Charge.

Material and labour for taking down defective footvalves/ Non-return valves from UG Sump, removing corrosion of footvalves/ Non-return valves and painting with one coat of red oxide alongwith black enamel paint and changing of rubber gaskets, footvalve bottom rubber with spring complete with renewal of necessary bolts, nuts, washers complete all as specified for the following sizes:-

Taking down & refixing the old fire hydrant valves of size 63/80mm dia from hydrant post and removing the corrosion, changing the damaged pins from pivot end, softening the shaft of iron wheel and applying the greese for lubrication of fire hydrant valves complete all as directed by EIC. Note:- . quoted rates are inclusive of Nut & Bolts, rubber gaskets and other connected items.)

Repair/ maintenance of fire hose box by changing of damaged doors along with locking arrangements, front glass of existing size, PCC foundation and necessary rubber gaskets for doors complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of one coat red-oxide paint, paint red and inside clean white paint and numbering of box as directed by E-in- charge)

Supply and replace damaged /defective /unserviceable fire hose box made of 18 gauge MS sheet 800mm x 600mm x 250mm with double door with 4mm thick glass and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted fire red outside and brilliant white inside and numbering of box with white paint on a circular black background paint of size as dictated complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and replace damaged /defective /unserviceable gunmetal fire hydrant landing valve type A (single head outlet) of 63 mm dia with new hydrant ISI mark complete all as directed.

Supply and replace damaged /defective /unserviceable gunmetal fire hydrant landing valve type B (Double head outlet) of 63 mm dia with new hydrant ISI mark complete all as directed.

Supply and replace defective/ unservieable four way fire brigade inlet with isolation valve with instataneous gun metal coupling 63mm dia complete all as per fire standards made out of 150mm dia class 'B' MS pipe all as specified.

M & L for dismantling of motor of following capacities pumpset from installed position after disconnecting the coupling and electric connections and transporting the motor to the work shop, strip opening of the motor complete incl dismanlting stator, rotor assembly and cleaning the complete assemblies by taking out perished glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block,and washing with carbon tetra chloride, decarbonising and cleaning the rotor with CTC solution.Replacing the glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block, binding the loose coils with binding cloth, varnishing the coils complete and applyng bectol on the excitor coils, stator coils and heating complete, reassembling the unit and testing with megger for insualtion value and re-assembling, aligning with pump, re-inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the electric cable etc and check for drawing current testing, commissioning etc all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for dismantling the pump of following capacity, checking the worn out parts like impeller, shaft, stuffing box, shaft sleeve using Micrometer and transporting to workshop for repairs, check for condition of bearings, removing scales from impeller and pump housing, building the worn out metal of transmission shaft to required level, machining to the required size on lathe machine, grinding and finishing to match the sleeve, and fixing into the housing, re-assembling, transport back to the installation, installing in position, check for alignment with dial gauge, inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the flanged pipe connections of suction/ delivery including replacement of rubber insertion etc complete, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

NOTE :- Spares will be measured and paid separately under relevant schedule.

M&L for dismantling the defective induction motor of any capacity / make / class of insulation from foundation bed, duly coupled with pump / compressor, trasnporting to workshop removing burnt out widing from stator/rotor, rewinding with suitable gauge of super enamelled copper wire of approved make and replacing DE / NDE bearings, insulation materials, varnishing , heating etc complete, re-assembling, testing and commissioning of following capacity motors all as directed. Note : Quoted rate is inclusive of Terminal block, and other misc part required.
