Brick masonary works in FEW Scope of work includes : •Supply of burnt clay bricks of class designation 5.0. •Carrying out brick masonary works by burnt clay bricks by using cement mortar mixture of ratio 1: 6 (one part cement & six parts manufactured sand). •Adequate scaffolding shall be given for the brick masonary works carried out at a height of above 2 m from ground level. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of transportation charges to site, loading, unloading and stacking charges at site. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Floor preparation for laying vitrified tiles Scope of work includes: •Chipping & removing exiting red oxide flooring without damaging the nearby structures. •Disposing the debris generated during the work at a location instructed by engineer-in-charge. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Re-plastering of walls Scope of work includes: •Preparations of plastering mix in ratio 1:4 (1 part cement & 4 parts psand/msand) •Application of one coat of plaster mix of average thickness 12 mm on walls. •Plastered surfaces shall be screeded, floated & hard trowelled to a smooth finish and shall be level with the brick faces. •Proper curing shall be done to plastered surfaces by spraying water. •Re-fixing and routing of existing power/data cables & water pipelines over the wall after completion of plastering works. Any new supports, if required, for refixing the power/date cables and water pipelines shall be in scope of contractor Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Providing form work to cement concrete and RCC works in FEW Scope of work includes: •Providing necessary form works to cement concrete and RCC works in FEW with suitable plywood/steel sheets. •Adequate supports shall be provided to form works from collapsing while pouring cement concrete/ RCC mixture and during curing of the mixture. •Plywood/steel sheets and supports required for the form works shall be in scope of conractor. Quoted rate by the contractor shall be inclusive of rental charges of the same. Entire works shall be done as per the special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Supply of 8 mm & 12 mm Fe 500 grade steel bars for the RCC works in FEW Scope of work includes: •Supply of 8mm & 12 mm Fe 500 grade steel bars confirming to IS 1786 for steel reinforcement works in RCC. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of transportation & handling charges of the steel bars to FEW. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Providing steel reinforcement to RCC works Scope of works includes: •Fabricating and fixing the steel reinforcements made from 12 mm steel bars for the various RCC works in FEW. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of uncoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing and tying of steel bars. •Black annealed tying wire of 16 guage shall be used for tying the steel bars. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer in charge.

Preparation & laying of RCC mixture: Scope of work includes: •Preparation of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) mix of M20 grade. RCC mix shall be prepared in ratio 1:1.5:3. (1 part cement, 1.5 part of manufactured sand & 3 parts of coarse aggregrates). •Coarse aggregrates used for the mix shall be broken granite stones of size 20mm or below. Cement used for the RCC mix shall be Portland Pozzolana cement confirming to IS 1489. •Manufactured sand (M sand) used for the mix shall be confirming to IS 383. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Removing old and damaged brick masonary works: Scope of work includes: •Dismantling of old and damaged brick masonry works of height up to 6 m in FEW. •Tools by jack hammer, sledge hammer, chisel etc. which are required for the dismantling activities are under the scope of contractor. •Debris generated during the dismantling activities shall be cleared from the site and shall be disposed at a location instructed by engineer in charge. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Providing support to the wall while removing old and damaged brick masonary works near the foundation: Scope of work includes: •Providing necessary supports to the wall from collapsing while removing the old and damaged brick masonary works near to foundation. •Steel beams, wooden planks and jack supports required for supporting the walls shall be in scope of contractor. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of rental charges of jack supports, steel beams and wooden planks.

Supply & laying of double charged vitrified floor tiles Scope of work includes: •Supply of double charged vitrified floor tiles of size approximately 600mm X 600m. Supplied tiles shall be in price range Rs.80 – Rs.100/sq.ft •Supplied tiles shall be confirming to IS: 15622 and water absorption of the tiles shall be less than 0.08%. •Surface preparation & levelling of the floor prior to tile laying. •Laying & fixing of double charged vitrified floor tiles by using cement based high polymer modified quick-set tile adhesive(tile adhesive shall be water based and confirming to IS:15477). •Grouting the joints of floor tiles by using suitable epoxy grout mix. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of charges associated with transportation, loading , unloading, stacking and handling of tiles at site, laying charges of tiles and cost of quick-set tile adhesive & epoxy grout mix. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge.

Interior painting of walls Scope of work includes: •Supply of interior emulsion paint, cement primer and thinner for painting wall interiors. •Application of one coat of cement primer and two coats of interior emulsion paint to wall interiors. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of primer/ emulsion paint/thinner, transportation and handling charges of paint/primer/thinner in FEW, charges associated with painter and consumables like paint brushes, masking tape, paint rollers etc. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instruction of engineer-in-charge.

Exterior painting of walls Scope of work includes: •Supply of exterior acrylic emulsion paint, cement primer and thinner for painting wall exteriors. •Application of one coat of cement primer and two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint to wall exterior. •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of primer/ emulsion paint/thinner, transportation and handling charges of paint/primer/thinner in FEW, charges associated with painter and consumables like paint brushes, masking tape, paint rollers etc. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instruction of engineer-in-charge.

Replacing damaged grilles, sashes and glass of window frames. Scope of work includes: •Replacing damaged window grilles, sashes and glass of window frames in FEW. •New grilles, sashes and glass of window frames for the replacement shall be in scope of contractor. •Contractor shall assign skilled carpenter for the replacement works. Wages, boarding and lodging expenses of the carpenter shall be in scope of contractor. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instruction of engineer-in-charge.

Painting of window frames, mullion, grilles and sashes Scope of work includes: •Polishing of window frames, mullion, grilles and sashes •Supply of wood enamel paint required for the painting of window frames, mullion, grilles and sashes •Application of two coats of wood enamel paint of same shade •Quoted rate shall be inclusive of cost of wood enamel paint, charges associated with painter and consumables like paint brushes, masking tape, paint rollers etc. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instruction of engineer-in-charge.

Providing new wiring and switch boards to existing lighting & ceiling fan points in FEW. Scope of work includes: •Procurement of electrical wire, modular switch board set with adequate no. of electrical switches & power points, PVC pipes/fittings and clamps required for laying the electrical wire over the walls by open conduit. •Removing the old and damaged wiring, switch board sets & PVC conduit inside the rooms. •Laying and routing the new electrical wire to the existing lighting/ceiling fan points by open conduit and fixing the new modular switch board sets to re-plastered walls. •Procured electrical wire and switch board sets shall be of same ampere rating of the removed ones. •Entire re-wiring works shall be done by a competent electrican. Competency certificate of the electrician shall be submitted to FEW prior to commencement of the work for review. •Old and damaged wiring, switch board boxes and PVC conduit shall be disposed at a location specified by engineer-in-charge. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instruction of engineer-in-charge.

Providing new false ceiling to the rooms by using PVC false ceiling sheets. Scope of work includes: •Removing old and damaged false ceiling and its supports provided in the rooms. •Procurement of PVC false ceiling sheets and associated supports, fittings and fasteners for the work. Procured PVC false ceiling sheets shall be of white colour. •Fixing the supports and laying the PVC false ceiling sheets inside the room. •Disposing the old and damaged false ceiling & its supports at a location specified by engineer in charge. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instruction of engineer-in-charge.

Replacing roofing sheet Scope of work includes: •Procurement of required quantity of aluminium PUF sandwich roofing panel. •Dismantling of existing asbestos roofing panel. •Laying and fixing of new aluminium PUF sandwich roofing panel. •J bolts/self tapping screws required for fixing new roofing panels shall also be in scope of contractor. Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge
