Roof sheet replacement in Kunderu hutment at MC Palle Camp, AMD, SR, Bengaluru

Dismantling Asbestos Cement sheet roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead of:all complete as per specification and directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding complete as per direction of E-I-C.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete as per direction of E-I-C.

Providing, supplying and Laying 50 mm thick factory made prefabricated sandwich type polyurethane foam (PUF) insulated roofing panels over existing roof structural frame work, consisting of outer and inner pre-painted galvanized steel sheets with rigid polyethene foam core of minimum density 40±2 kg/m3, complete with approved roofing profile. Panel shall be fixed with self drilling /self tapping screws and EPDM seal/washers with proper side and end overlaps, joints sealed with approved butyl sealant to ensure leak proof construction. The item includes all materials PUF panels, ridge pieces, end caps of the same profile, screws, labours, tools, taxes, transport (charges includes from Bengaluru or nearby city to MC Palle Camp) etc. complete as per direction of E-I-C.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet Flashings/ Aprons.( Upto 600 mm) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05 mm) with Zinc coating 120 gram per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete as per direction of E-I-C.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet Ridges plain (500 - 600mm) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05 mm) with Zinc coating 120 gram per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete as per direction of E-I-C.

Providing, mixing and applying 12 mm average thickness SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying painting in one coat with acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour after thouroughly brushing the surface, filling the cracks with necessary chemical adhesive, approved putty to give uniform shade, preparing the surface free from all grease, dirt, loose pieces of scales, including preparing the surface with sand paper, cost of materials, labour complete as per specification and direction of E-I-C.

Providing and applying one or more coats on old work with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufactureof required colour to give an even shade on doors, windows, grills etc. after thouroughly rubbing/ brushing the surface, filling the cracks with necessary approved putty to give uniform shade, preparing the surface free from all grease, dirt, loose pieces of scales, including preparing the surface even and sand paper smooth, cost of materials, labour complete as per specification and direction of E-I-C.
