REPAIR/ MAINT OF LT PANELS, FEEDER PILLAR BOX, MCCBs AND ITS CONNECTED ITEMS UNDER GE CLEMENT TOWN, DEHRADUN

Taking down old U/S LT Panel/Feeder Piller Box/ Busbar Chamber excluding serviceable MCCB's complete all as specified and directed. (Note: serviceable MCCB's of any cap shold be deposited in MES store yard)

M&L for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of old steel surface over 10cm width or girth, spray painting of approved quality / Shade including preparation of existing old painted surface of feeder pillar box/LT panel/any steelor iron surface as directed by Engr-in-charge of any description and indoor/outdoor type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning LT Outdoor floor mounted Bus Bar box, powder coated, factory made and tested , platform mounted, suitable for 415 Volts 3 Phase and neutral, 4 wire, 50Hz AC supply system of size 1000X1000X500 MM (HXWXD) having bus bar chamber with insulated electrolytic Aluminium bus bars installed on DMC insulators . The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, protection class (IP-54) in accordance with IS-2147 and made of 3.15 mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and mild steel angle iron frame work (made out of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm thick and 900 mm long), front & rear opening type with aprons for cable entry, with proper ferrule & cable gland, internal wiring with PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor FRLS cable of adequate size but not less than 1.5 sqmm complete. All steel metal works including frame shall be with anticorrosive coating with seven tank process and finally epoxy polyester powder coating of flint grey shade having instrumen chamber with RYB indicator LED lamps. The scope of work also comprising of the following:- (A) Aluminium Bus bar chamber rating : 2x250 Amps (Double bus bar), TPN, 415V (B) Incoming MCCB rating : 160 Amps, 4P, 25 KA - 01 (C) Outgoing MCCBs rating : 100 Amps, 4P, 25 KA - 02 Nos NOTE : (i) Panel wiring for control circuit with copper flexible 1.5 Sq mm & power wiring minimum 4 Sqmm flexible or as per load rating of the feeder pillar box and provision of 300x300x2mm thick danger notice board on front side of the panel doors. (ii) Complete installation with civil work and making necessary incoming and outging connection with proper cable lugs and cable glands is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the Contractor. (iii) The final height of the LT panel from the normal ground level shall be 450 mm and necessary civil work included in quoted rate.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) of cross sectional area 16 sqmm 4 Core with multistranded aluminum conductors, IS 7098 marked, suitable for LT 1100 Volt system, laid in trenches, fixed to pole, including jointing & testing including taking out old UNSV cable of any size complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work ,cable protection, sand fillings , cable joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil and not exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for laying of cable and fixing poles, stays etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed

Returning , filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning for under ground cable with layer of fine river dry sand 80 mm thick before laying of cable and 150 mm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned (consolidated ) thickness of sand will be measured and paid.

Supply and laying , un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover ,class LV,Type I,flat,size 250mmX150mmX40mm with breaking load capacity 200 KG complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tube light grade in trenches/wall for Cable Protection of 100 mm dia in size including all required fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tube light grade in trenches/wall for Cable Protection of 80 mm dia in size including all required fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tube light grade in trenches/wall for Cable Protection of 50 mm dia in size including all required fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in replacement GI tube light grade in trenches/wall for Cable Protection of 40 mm dia in size including all required fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) 4 Pole, 415 V, with Thermal Magnetic Release (Manual Drawout type) of capacity 800 Amps , 415Volts, 4 pole 50 Hz, 36 KA /50 KA with adjustable , thermal magnetic release complete with all standard accessories all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge and taking down old existing UNSV ACB from the LT feeder pillar box complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE- Any alteration and fabrication work required at site for installation of ACB in existing panel board, quoted rate is deemed to be included for the minor job required at site).

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) 4 Pole, 415 V, with Thermal Magnetic Release (Manual Drawout type) of capacity 630 Amps , 415Volts, 4 pole 50 Hz, 36 KA /50 KA with adjustable , thermal magnetic release complete with all standard accessories all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge and taking down old existing UNSV ACB from the LT feeder pillar box complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE- Any alteration and fabrication work required at site for installation of ACB in existing panel board, quoted rate is deemed to be included for the minor job required at site).

Supply, fixing and testing MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, Adjustable type, 200 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete with all connected accessories including taking out old UNSV MCCB from the existing panel after disconnecting all incoming and out going UG cable cannections etc complete all as specified and directed. Note- rate quoted is deemed to be included for any alteration or fabrication work required to be carried out for fixingn of MCCB at exisiting feeder pillar).

Supply, fixing and testing MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, Adjustable type, 400 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete with all connected accessories including taking out old UNSV MCCB from the existing panel after disconnecting all incoming and out going UG cable cannections etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note- rate quoted is deemed to be included for any alteration or fabrication work required to be carried out for fixingn of MCCB at exisiting feeder pillar).

Material & labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground. ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected by GI strip 25x4 mm as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt,thimbles check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm x300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size (1:2:4) Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate rainforced with XPM and charcoal, dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified including and provision of GI wire upto 7.5 mtrs long with 15 mm dia light grade Gi pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all excavation and earth work and connecting the earthing strip to panel, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick rainforced with XPM weighting not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover.(ii) Cost of additional GI wire more than 7.5 mtrs will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the BIS specifications shall be followed.
