REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF DG SET VOLTAGE STABILIZER AND CONNECTED WORKS AT IMA DEHRADUN

Servicing of DG Set 200 KVA of any Make ,checking entire system as per manufacturer's catalogue such as checking all parts for serviceability, taking down defective parts such as fuel filter assembly, by pass filter assembly, lube oil filter assembly, air cleaner assembly lube oil hose flexible pipe, hose turbo etc and replacing the same with same size, make and capacity of parts, Cleaning all the serviceable filters with cleaning solution such as petrol and diesel and draining out the old used burnt engine oil from the oil sump and cleaning oil sump with suitable cleaning solution such as petrol and diesel or any other cleaning solution and refilling new engine oil grade 15W/40 up to required level and including testing to DG Set to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Spare parts/Engine oil/check kit/ filters shall be measured and paid for separately under successive items here-in-after.(ii) Servicing shall be carried out by authorised dealer of manufacturer. (iii) Minimum 6 months gap/200 Hrs of run whichever is earlier shall be considered for next service. (iv) Repair Guarantee for replaced parts/servicing of DG Set shall be for six month from the date of service. (v) Engine Oil and spare including 'C' check kit shall be measured and paid for separately under successive items here-in-after as per site requirement. However, labour charge are deemed to be included in item rate above.

Supply only Lub oil bypass filter with gasket for 110 to 160 KVA DG set

M & L for drain out of old Engine oil from oil sump of any capacity of installed DG sets, cleaning of oil sump properly, pouring of fresh dehydrated Engine oil as required grade, top up of any make DG sets complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of radiator from DG set carefully cleaning of tubes and fins complete with the help of proper cleaning agent and wire brush soldering of tubes and fins at required places testing and refilling complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of defective water pump from DG set of 110 KVA/ 200 KVA repair the same by replace the water pump repair kit removing of leakage refitting after testing complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of water pump body assembly suitable for 110 KVA to 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down turbo set kit and supply and replacement of turbo set kit for DG set 110 KVA to 200 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of hand priming pump from DG set of capacity 110 to 200 KVA for repair and servicing by opening of priming pump properly cleaning and replacement of unserviceable components master cylinder, cylinder liner, piston and gasket complete repairing testing and refitting complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the cylinder head cover, checking the defective parts, rectifying the noise of Engine, adjustment of tappet including replacement of cylinder head gasket kit and refitting checking as directed of 110 to125 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed.

All as per description item No 9 here in before 25 to 30 KVA DG set complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of self starter 12/24 volts from DG set opening of body cover complete ,repair by rewinding of armature cleaning of slots, taping of field coil, replacement of ball bearing , replacement of carbon brush set, replacement of bendix pinion, refitting, testing complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 12/ 24 volt dynamo/ alternator from DG set of any make and type replacement of unserviceable armature carbon brush set bearing, refitting, testing complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of fuel tank of different capacity DG sets by taking down from system cleaning internally by using proper cleaning agent welding to leakage portion complete all as specified and directed.

Repair and servicing of alternator of 25-30KVA by disconnecting/opening checking and replacement of unserviceable rectifier, exciter coil, set of three carbon brush re-assembling testing all complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix analog type volt meter 0-500 volt including taking down old unserviceable volt meter complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Analog type Amp meter 0-200 Amp including taking down old unserviceable Amp meter complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of unserviceable light indicator from system supply and fix light indicator set of three in different colour as existing at site including replacement of connection lead complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of unserviceable ignition switch of DG set of any capacity supply and fix ignition switch of approved quality complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of silencer from DG set of any make and capacity cutting and welding in required places and replacement of unserviceable clamps complete testing and refitting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixed asbestos rope 12 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of unserviceable frequency meter from DG sets supply and fix frequency meter as per existing size complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of Old U/s oil temperature gauge from system and supply and fix oil temperature gauge as per existing size in the system complete all as specified and directed.

Calibration of fuel injection pump of 200 KVA cap by complete taking down replacement of unserviceable nozzle and washer, setting of injection assembly, including replacement of gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Calibration of fuel injection pump of 110 KVA cap by complete taking down replacement of unserviceable nozzle and washer, setting of injection assembly, including replacement of gasket complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of stop solenoid valve of 12 volt cap of DG set complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of stop solenoid valve of 24 volt cap of DG set complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of temperature sensor of any capacity of DG set complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of tacho hour meter complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Supply and replacement of flexible fuel rubber pipe wire embeded tank having 02 Nos of benzo to filter approx 8 feet long.

Supply and fixing Hinges for acoustic enclosure of 110/125/160/200 KVA DG Set (LHS/RHS) complete all as specified and directed.

Strip opening of NTC 495 G of Cummins Engine ,110 KVA DG set by OEM person, including taking down carefully all defective parts, for repair/ servicing, comprising replacement of any defective parts, re-assembling testing on load, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as directed.Note:-Unserviceable/ defective parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ as supply only.

Strip opening of NTC 495 G model of cummins kirloskar engine head with qualified OEM person reassembling of head after replacing defective parts for DG set of capacity 25 KVA. Note:-Unserviceable/ defective parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ as supply only.

M&L for Earthing complete for machinery equipment installed at power house/ sub station with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) vertically, with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to GI strip 25mm X 4mm main earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel protected with 40mm dia light grade GI pipe all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES BOQ Part-I connecting to earthing test point & to main switch board and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type soil, earth lead connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, test point, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, internal surface of concrete shall be given 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover, reinforced with 8mm dia deformed or TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle, GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 40mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr only from the top of earth electrode are included under this item and additional earth lead & protection pipe, if any, required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of `BOQ’. (ii) Any joints in earth lead from earth electrode to test point shall not be allowed/permitted.

Supply and fix earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten/pipe for loop earthing etc. for 25X4 mm galvanised Iron strip for earthing extension upto plant/DG set complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out U/S control wiring complete from stabilizer any capacity 100 KVA , 3 phase 415 volts any make for unbalanced load, Providing wiring loom complete to the stabilizers made out of suitable size PVC insulated copper conductor cable including cables lugs, connectors, channels etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Additional items required to make stabilizers serviceable will be measured and paid for separately under respective items)

All as per item No.39 here- in - before but of capacity up to 150 KVA 3 phase 415 volts any make for unbalanced load complete all as specified and directed..

Supply & fixing in replacement voltmeter digital type LED display 30 to 600 Volts of size 72x72mm square type complete all as specified and directed. Make:-AE/L&T/Havells.

Supply & fixing printed control card circuit suitable for voltage stabilizers of any make and model complete all as specified and directed..

Supply and fixing in replacement holder for printed control card circuit suitable for any make voltage stabilizer including connections by soldering complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement limit switch suitable to cut off supply to control motors on high and low set limits as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement toggle switch 2 way, 5 amps, 230 volts including connecting electrically complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of synchronous motor single phase AC 230 volts suitable to work with voltage stabilizer of OEM make and model with torque up to 5 Kg/CM complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing synchronous motor single phase AC 230 volts suitable to work with voltage stabilizer of any make and model with torque above 5 Kg/CM up to 12 Kg/CM complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement gear suitable for synchronous motors to operate the shaft for variable dimmer stat complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement indicator with bulb, red, yellow or green 230 volts as per sample and complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out main transformer of the voltage stabilizer for repair/rewinding. Rewinding of the main transformer using super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge including latherite paper, PVC sheets, sleeves etc all as required. Varnishing complete with insulating varnish, drying and re fixing to the stabilizer after testing all as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement brass studs with nuts, washers etc complete including porcelain bushes as per sample suitable for voltage stabilizers 100 KVA OEM complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement brass studs with nuts, washers etc complete including porcelain bushes as per sample suitable for voltage stabilizers up to 150 KVA capacity any make complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for scraping old paint from the voltage stabilizer 3 phase 100 KVA cap and preparation of surfaces for painting. Repainting the voltage stabilizers by spraying synthetic enamel paint of approved colour, writing SM/MES No and cap with white paint complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl Item No 63 here-in-above, but above 150 KVA all as required at site or directed.

Taking down old unserviceable PVC spiral hose pipe 50 mm external dia and Supply & fix PVC spiral hose 50 mm external dia floating type for suction sweeper assembly as per sample complete all as specified and directed.
