Annual Afloat repair works of CSD Champakkara and Anchor Pontoon XI at IWT Maradu Terminal Kochi During The Year 2026-27

Surface preparation of the above-water portion and complete deck area of CSD Champakkara and Anchor Pontoon XI, including onboard deck, side pontoons, central pontoon, cutter ladder, anchor foundations, side railings, hatches, doors, wheelhouse, engine room, inside of store compartments (Port & Starboard), discharge pipeline, forward winches, cutter ladder and spud cylinders, bollards, air vents, deck crane, pipelines, and all other onboard fitted equipment and structural components. The work shall include chipping, scraping, wire brushing, grinding, removal of rust, scale, old loose paint, oil, grease, and other contaminants, followed by thorough cleaning and surface preparation to the required standard for marine painting. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour, materials, consumables, tools, tackles, equipment, and incidental charges required to complete the work in accordance with approved marine standards.

Painting of the above-mentioned area with two (2) coats of anti-corrosive epoxy primer followed by two (2) coats of marine-grade epoxy paint, in accordance with approved marine painting standards. The work shall include thorough surface preparation, cleaning, removal of rust and loose paint, application of primer and epoxy finish coats, and all necessary labour, materials, consumables, tools, equipment, scaffolding (if required), and incidental charges to ensure a durable, corrosion-resistant, and uniform finish. The rate shall be inclusive of all labour and material costs.

Renewal of approximately 5 metres of discharge pipeline and bends of 250 mm diameter, Schedule 60, including dismantling and removal of the damaged/existing discharge pipeline and bends, supply, fabrication, fitting, welding, alignment, support and clamping, renewal of flanges, gaskets, fasteners, and other associated fittings as required, hydraulic testing of joints, and commissioning of the complete discharge line. The work shall include all labour, materials, consumables, welding electrodes, cutting, grinding, lifting and handling, surface touch-up painting of welded portions, and all incidental charges. The work shall be carried out in accordance with approved marine and dredger piping standards, ensuring the renewed pipeline is fully leak-proof, structurally sound, and operational.

Servicing of HSD suction and return line valves on both sides, including dismantling, inspection, cleaning, removal of sludge and deposits, lapping of valve seats, renewal of gland packing, seals, gaskets, O-rings, fasteners, discharge hose, and other worn-out components as required, reassembly, alignment, testing for smooth operation and leak-proof performance, and commissioning. The work shall include all labour, materials, consumables, tools, tackles, and incidental charges, and shall be carried out in accordance with approved marine engineering standards, ensuring the HSD suction and return line valves are made fully operational and leak-free.

Cost of Spare parts will be reimbursed on (Actual+10%) basis

Servicing of the swivel system due to improper rotation, including inspection, dismantling, cleaning, checking of internal components, lubrication, adjustment, and rectification of defects to restore smooth and proper rotation. The system shall be tested after servicing to ensure satisfactory operation. The quoted price includes all labour, materials, consumables, and equipment required to complete the work. Any major spare parts required after inspection shall be supplied only upon approval and charged separately.

Renewal of the port side canopy legs by removing the existing damaged legs and supplying and fitting new canopy legs of suitable specification. The work includes fabrication, alignment, welding, surface preparation, finishing, and proper securing of the new legs to ensure adequate support and stability of the canopy structure.The quoted price includes all labour, materials, consumables, welding, and equipment required to complete the work.

Repair of the dredge pump by renewal of the damaged seal, including dismantling of the pump, inspection of internal components, removal of the defective seal, supply and fitting of a new seal of the correct specification, reassembly, alignment, and functional testing to ensure proper operation and leak-free performance. The quoted price includes all labour charges.
