Dismantling and opening of spare parts for servicing of water cooled DG set of following capacity coupled with alternator, Maintenance and servicing mechanically and electrically, including cleaning, oiling /greasing, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts,i.e diesel filter /oil filter /Air filter /fan belt /fuel pipe/ engine oil pipe /Engine Oil etc as required at site and as per manufacturer's instructions and checking of valves & nozzles etc, reassembling the parts of DG set at position ensuring proper alignment connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. (including mentioned in Note here in below) Notes:-(i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil complete all as specified and directed. (iii) Fresh engine oil for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ . Its cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item. (iv) Repairs/servicing / reassembling and testing of DG Set shall be carried out through OEM

Disconnecting and taking out the exhaust system of DG set of any capacity between 50 KVA to 160 KVA and carrying out cleaning of choked, carbonized exhaust pipe including exhaust silencer , including soldering / welding of leakage of pipe.and assembling the complete exhaust assembly including replacement of exhaust manifold gasket side pieces, metallic flexible pipe, nut bolts, and testing for making it leak proof and fixing the same in position and testing the system complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out the exhaust system of DG set of any capacity between 200 KVA to 725 KVA and carrying out cleaning of choked, carbonized exhaust pipe including exhaust silencer , including soldering / welding of leakage of pipe.and assembling the complete exhaust assembly including replacement of exhaust manifold gasket side pieces, metallic flexible pipe, nut bolts, and testing for making it leak proof and fixing the same in position and testing the system complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cleaning of MS fuel tank of DG sets of 100 to 300 ltr capacity by collecting the fuel in cleaned barrels and removing sludge deposited/accumulated inside the tank of and disposal of sludge at a distance not exceeding 100 metre and cleaning the tank with kerosene oil , replacement of fuel tank strainer and unserviceable fuel gauge with new PVC fuel level indicator fixed with clips to the tank and marking levels for every 10 litre by marking and numbering on the side of fuel tank with synthetic enameled paint and refilling the collected fuel after filtration complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cleaning of MS fuel tank of DG sets of 400 to 800 ltr capacity by collecting the fuel in cleaned barrels and removing sludge deposited/accumulated inside the tank of and disposal of sludge at a distance not exceeding 100 metre and cleaning the tank with kerosene oil , replacement of fuel tank strainer and unserviceable fuel gauge with new PVC fuel level indicator fixed with clips to the tank and marking levels for every 10 litre by marking and numbering on the side of fuel tank with synthetic enameled paint and refilling the collected fuel after filtration complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable belts of the DG set and supply and fixing new belt suitable for following capacity of DG set engine match the existing complete all as specified and directed.

The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ here in after under item No.30 but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (iii) The quoted rates of contractor are deemed to be included cost of transportation to and fro authorized service centre and machining job etc.as required (iv) The element for connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge shall be included/covered under the rates quoted in Sch A item No. 1 here in above consider for Maintenance and servicing.

Disconnecting and taking out of defective battery charger and supply and fixing new automatic battery charger 12/24 volts suitable for charging of two batteries,sheet metal enclosure complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking out the voltage stabilizer of following capacity, any description and of any make, dismantling / opening of the voltage stabilizer of following capacity, three phase, AC 415 Volts, for Maintenance and servicing mechanically and electrically,including draining out existing transformer oil, and cleaning, oiling /greasing, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, as required at site and manufacturer's instructions and checking electronic circuits to make it functional , reassembling the parts of voltage stabilizer after overhauling / servicing at position ensuring proper out put connecting to existing system and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint (heat resistant type) by spray machine after preparation including writing MES No/ SM No in capital letters of suitable size on body of stabilizer and making voltage stabilizer perfectly operational and testing at site on existing connected load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. (including mentioned in Note here in below) Notes :-(i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced/repaired is deemed to be included in these item. (ii) Oil shall be drained out and collected in contractors own containers and reuse after heating and filtration through filtration plant to achieve the suitable dielectric strength/insulation value. Refilling, heating and filteration shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor for above items. (iii) Fresh oil required for top up shall be measured as “supply only” but its heating and filling shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor for above items. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers,nut bolts, packing, screws,lamp etc.
