Material and labour in replacement for earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) vertically, with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I connecting to earthing test point & to main switch board and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type soil, earth lead connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc. GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 15mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Earth lead wire and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr from the top of earth electrode are included under this item. (ii) Any joints in earth lead from earth electrode to test point shall not be allowed/permitted.

Supplying, laying, testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (Heavy duty) with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area size 50 Sqmm 3½ Core including dismantling existing cable any type and any size cable complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out excavated soil/sand/unseviceable LT Cable for laying of cable and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning and covering of UG cable using crushed metal sand in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick well burnt Class ‘B’ as cover to U/G cable laid dry flat over the cable with width equal to length of the cable and abutting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10mm over under ground cable for cable protection in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 40mm dia GI tubing medium grade (ISI marked) with all fitting/acessories for protection of cable on pole/wall and under road crossing including clamps, nut bolt etc complete all as specified and directed.
