Annual Maintenance of Rolling Shutters, M.S. gates and other miscellaneous structural steel works in HWPM colony for the year 2026-2027.

Over hauling of existing rolling shutters, including removal and refixing of complete shutter, cleaning the entire rolling shutters, greasing of the pipe shaft, side guides, springs, ball bearings, inner and outer locking arrangements, tempering of springs etc., complete and all other such operations so as to ensure a smooth push and pull operation of shutters, including cost of all labour, grease and other consumable, replacement of damaged parts like shafts, bearings, laths, lock handles, screws etc. with matching materials as specified below as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1) Payment is as per no. basis irrespective of size of the shutter. 2) Spares like Shafts, Springs and Bearings will be paid separately under the relevant items. 3) Cost of laths, rollers/ wheels and other consumables required shall be born by the contractor. 4) Shutters of the following sizes are existing in the colony, 2.95 x 2.44 m, 2.08 x 2.44m, 2.74 x 2.70m, 2.55 x 2.46m, 2.57 x 2.48m) (Note: Rolling shutters once overhauled should be maintained by the contractor during the entire contract period at their cost for smooth operation. Changing of spare parts if any will be paid separately under the relevant items)

Providing and replacing pipe shaft in place of damaged pipe shaft of 40mm dia of required length to suit the existing rolling shutters including drilling of holes and handing over the old damaged pipe shaft to sectional store etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Item will be executed as and when required)

Providing and replacing in position, heavy duty springs of of length 400mm, 100mm dia & to suit the damaged spring of existing rolling shutter etc., including handing over the damaged springs to sectional store etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Item will be executed as and when required)

Providing and replacing ball bearings of make SKF/ TOPE/ NTN/ Delux of size 100mm OD, to suit the damaged ball bearing for the existing rolling shutters and handing over of the damaged ball bearings to sectional store etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Item will be executed as and when required)

Welding of hinges to the doors/ windows/ ventilators and other miscellaneous works at all levels in housing colony when ever required including cost of electrodes, Labor charges, hire charges of welding machine etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Electric Power supply and hinges will be supplied by the department on free of cost)

Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made of 80x1.25 mm M.S. laths with 1.25 mm thick top cover, interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks, mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets and bearings, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete, including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5 cm long wire springs manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS: 4454 - part 1 including applying two coats of approved color and shade of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide etc., all complete as per drawings, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing of Miscellaneous structural steel work in built-up sections including cutting, welding, hosting, fixing in position and applying two coats of enamel painting of approved make viz. Asian/ Nerolac/ Berger over a priming coat of steel primer of approved make etc., all complete as per drawings, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Fabrication with MS plates, angles, Flats, channels, square bars etc.,)
