Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilities demolition) in beams, floors, slabs at any postiion not other wise specifically provided for etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Notes for Item Nos. 1.041 to 1.044: (i) The depth of boring for piles shall be measured from existing ground/bed level/river bed top (as per soundings/reduced levels taken at the commencement of work) to the approved founding level. (ii) It shall be ensured that the waste bentonite slurry/ drilled or bored material is pumped off from the premises to locations shown as approved by GVMC by contractor at his own cost. The distance mentioned in description of item shall be the shortest distance from the centre of the building. (iii) All channels/tanks made for bentonite circulations shall be filled with approved moorum obtained by contractor at his cost after clearing all bentonite cakes. (iv) The contractor may use any method as approved by GE for boring without any extra cost to the Govt. The rates for boring of piles shall be inclusive of any method/ casing that may be used by the contractor for bored piles. Nothing extra shall be paid. (v) For the purpose of payment of boring/drilling, description of hard rock shall be as given in SSR/particular specification. (vi) The size of cutting tool shall not be less than diameter of pile by more than 75 mm. (vii) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the rates for the shifting and setting up of piling rig as many times as required. (viii) The rates quoted by contractor shall be inclusive of testing of bentonite for every batch brought at site
Carrying out initial load tests on test piles as per standard procedure laid down in IS-2911 by static load test method including compressive strength including construction of test cap, dismantling the cap after the test and clearing the site and maintaining complete records of load settlements etc. as specified and directed by GE and submission of reports for a test load of 538 tonne in non-working areas in the vicinity, including the cost of new piles for 600mm dia with specification as same as working pile with minimum depth of socketing into the hard rock 2D (Where D is dia of pile) etc all as specified and as directed.
Carrying out routine load test (working pile) as per standard procedure given in IS-2911 (Part IV) 1985 by static test method for 600mm dia. Piles for a test load of 323 ton complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete (Ready mix concrete) by design mix M-40 grade (Using 20mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in bore holes using portland slag cement with admixture of approved manufacturers as per PS clause 4.2.8.6 (E) for piles in tremie method including necessary dewatering, formwork, concrete mixed in RMC plant, transporting, placing, compacting, vibrating etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes for item Nos. 1.049 to 1.055: (i) Minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg/Cu.m. of concrete for pile caps, suspended floor beams, slabs and footings, platform (Covered under item No.1.049) and shall be 360 Kg/Cu.m .of concrete for M-40 using Portland slag cement with minimum slag content of 50% (fifty percent) for items covered under item Nos. 1.050 to 1.055. (ii) Design mix shall be as per IS-456-2000. Maximum size of aggregate shall not exceed 20 mm and slump shall be 50mm to 100mm and maximum water cement ratio 0.4. (iii) Unit rate shall be deemed to include for interalia for preliminary design mix and works test cubes. iv) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately. (v) In case at the time of mix design cement content is increased beyond minimum content given no extra payment will be made. (vi) Standard manufactured cover blocks as per IS should be used, Site cast cover blocks shall not be used.

Chipping of laitance concrete in piles above cut of level upto a maximum of 1m from cut of level and disposal to distance of exc. 10.0Km but n. exc. 15 Km and depositing to location as approved by GVMC complete all as specifed and as directed.

Removing peeled off concrete of RCC columns, beams, walls etc including chipping out and cleaning with wire brush to remove all loose particles and making good the corroded reinforcement by providing reinforcement/chicken mesh/welded steel wire fabric of strengthening the structure by welding or tying with MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia and gunniting the area with a minium pressure of 5 Kg/Sqm to average thickness 40 mm in cm (1:2) using with approved admixture and approved water proofing compound as per manufacture instruction all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) Reinforcement/ wire mesh shall be measured and paid separately under relavent items. (ii) Structrual stability whill be tested before and after execution of work.

M&L for providing and installing 6mm thick MS liner for bored cast-in-situ concrete piles with necessary 10mm thick stiffeners, driving shoe with continuous welding including cutting, bending welding etc. confirming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250 Quality B) complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Rate shall be inclusive of cutting the liner at cut off level. The rate is deemed to include for cutting, removal and salvage value of the material so obtained. (ii) MS liner shall be driven upto refusal level the occurrence of refusal level will be decided by GE at site based on visual inspection of bailer samples from pile bore hole, past experience and laboratory test result. The decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding. (iii) MS liner will be measured and paid up to the cut off level only of pile. Additional MS liner if used for convenience of construction shall be included in the rates quoted. Nothing extra shall be paid separately on this account.
M&L Steel rolling shutters, gear operated type without ball bearing with bevel gear box and crank handle, as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer with 1.25 mm thick laths and guide chanels erected in position complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supply and fix suspended false ceiling of gypsum board of 12.5mm thick conforming to IS with GI perimeter channel of size 20 x 30 x 27 x 0.9mm (having one flange of 20mm and another flange of 30mm and web 27mm) along perimeter of ceiling, screwed fixed to wall with help of nylon sleeves and screws of 610mm centre to centre suspending GI infemedia techchannels of size 15 x 45 x o.9mm thick ( two flanges of 15mm each and web 45mm) from the soffit 12oomm centre to centre both ways with ceiling angle soffit cleat of size 27 x 37 x 25 x 1.6mm thick fixed to soffit with rawl plug. Ceiling section of 80 x 25 x 5mm fixed to the intermediate channels with the help of connecting clip 2.64mm dia and in direction perpendicular to the intermediate channel at 365 mm centre fixing gypsum board with screws 250 mm centre to centre including jointing compound joint paper tape and drywall top coat and all as specified and shown on drawing No. DGNP/TD/211 sheet 1/1 and as per manufacturers instructions.
S&F aluminium powder coated frame for doors, partitions, windows and ventilators with one or more rebates of extruded built up standard tubular and other section of approved make according to IS 1868 (Thickness or powder coating not less than 50 micron).) fixed with rawal plugs, aluminium anodised screws or fixing with clamps or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps of junctions at top and bottom and sides with required PVC/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections should be smooth, rust free,straight mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, PVC/Neoprene gasket for glazing, panelling, aluminium anodised screws etc. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
S&F powder coated aluminium door shutters, sections weight not less than 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing and powder coated aluminium snap beading screws complete all as specified. The system shall be complete in all respects including electrical components for motor of secondary Variable chilled water pumps. Each pump shall have an independent adjustable frequency drive. Common Panel with suitable controller to control 4 Nos Pumps separately. Including Auto Manual Star Delta Starter with suitable Amp contactors and interlocking for below mentioned capacity motor ratings as per specs and drawing. Including sensor, transmiter, control wiring etc complete in all respect. It shall be also BMS compatible. Panel should be IP 55 Rated. All switchgear shall be suitable for secondary pump motor capacity of 5.5 KW x 2 nos. (viii) ELECTRICAL PANELS: (a) Design, fabrication, assembly, wiring, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of front operated cubicle type compartmentalised as per form 3B (BS 5486 Part-1 1990), front access free standing, dust and vermin proof (IP 54 ingress protection) main switchboards suitable for use at 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hertz system suitable for fault level of required value symmetrical at 415 volls, fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA MS sheets with hinged, gasketted (metal based neoprene) and lockable doors having structural reinforcement with suitable angle/channel/T/flat sections including 3 mm thick gland plates on top and bottom and including with lifting hooks and including GI earth strip of 50 x 6 mm with 2 nos earthing terminals and including powder coated paint finish of approved shade over metal surface cleaned and treated with seven tank process complete with interconnections etc complete as per specifications, as required and as below. (b) All Switchboards shall have provision for entry of cables from the top or bottom as required. The panel shall be BMS compatible and it shall be possible to monitor the status of all the breakers/devices through third party BMS system (c) All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and all as specified and as directed. (ix) Shell and tube type heat exchanger: (a) Heat exchanger shall be shell and tube type and shall be suitable operating at below mentioned flowrate and temperature range. The heat exchanger shall be able to achieve a heat tranfer of 80 @TR 192 usgpm flow rate on both sides with a delta of 5.5 degC on both sides. (b) Inlet water temperature shall be in the range of 7 - 12 deg C and outlet water temperature shall be with at delta of +5.5 deg C. The process liquid (demineralized water) on other side of heat exchanger shall have inlet in the range of 19 -24 deg C and outlet temperature shall be with delta of minus 5 deg C-ie if the CHW in is at 7 deg C and the process water in is at 19 deg C. CHW out shall be 12.5 deg C and process water out shall be at 13.5 deg C Similarly, if CHW in is at 12 deg C, and process water is at 24 degC, the CHW out shall be at 17.5 degC and process water out shall be at 18.5 deg C
(c) The tubes of the heat exchanger shall pa copper nickel with 10% nickel and 90% copper, 5/8" outer dia, 20 G thickness plain tubes with SS 316 plates The shell and nozzle heads shall be constructed out of SS 316 (x) CHILLED WATER PIPING: a) SS 304 ERW pipes insulated chilled water piping cut to required lengths and installed with all welded joints, providing and fixing in position the necessary fittings like flanges elbows tees, reducers (b) Pipe insulation to be closed cell nitrile rubber of 140-180 kg/m3 density and wrapped with 24 G Aluminum cladding sheets (c) 200 mm dia + 50 mm thick insulation (d) 150 mm dia + 50 mm thick insulation (e) 125 mm dia + 50 mm thick insulation (f) 100 mm dia + 50 mm thick insulation.
