Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by mechanical means including cutting andtrimmingofslopesanddisposalof cut material with all lift and lead upto 1000 metres (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 301).

By Mix in Place Method Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded materials such as natural sand/crushed gravel/crushed stone/combination depending upon the required grading , spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator and compacting with vibratory roller toachieve at least 98% of the maximum dry density for the material determined as per IS:2720 (Part 8), complete as per clause 401 desire density, complete as per clause 401 Rate per cum for grading-III Material

Water Bound Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stagesto proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate,watering and compacting to the required density (Reference to MoRT&H's specification 404). 9A By Manual Means 9A(i) Grading-1(Table 400-9) 9A (i)(b) Using Screening (Table 400-10) Type-A (13.2 mm aggregate) N.B Variety

PCC 1:3:6 in Foundation Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days (Reference to MORT&H's specification 2100). Note Vibrator is a part of minor T & P which is already included in overhead charges of the contractor. Using Concrete Mixer (N.B variety)

Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 304). 13(i) Ordinary soil 13(i)A Manual Means (Depth upto 3 m).
