DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing cement concrete in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed type B-1,1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified and as directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete surface by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per sq. metre and filling of cracks,joints etc and making good complete all as specified & directed.

M&L 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:4 incl water proofing compound including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note-Water proofing compound to be paid for separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound

M & L water proofing treatment on existing roof/sunken floors including removing exisitng treatment with the following speification complete (a) Apply bituminous primer @ 0.5 Ltr/Sqm confirming to IS 3384-1965 on prepared surface till the surface is properly pregnated (b) Apply hot bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 Kgs/Sqm confirming to IS 702-1988 (c) Laying APP based polimeric water proofing membrane minimum weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm and minimum 2 mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (Wt not less than 150 gms/sqm) laid on primed surface by forced application complete with as per manufacturer instructions confirming to IS complete all as specified and directed. (d) Applying a coat aluminium paint min. 0.20ltr/sqm as per manufacturer's instructions.

Demolition of brick work, stone/boulder masonary built in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' brick old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortor 1:6 complete all as spfd & directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, of any description including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as spfd and directed.

M&L 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:3) on fair faces of brick work ceilling concrete surfaces to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surface of wall apply two coat of cement base paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L three coats of white wash on ceiling surfaces including prepration of new plastered surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down Steel Tubing bore of pipe in 15mm and connections, and removal to store etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down Steel Tubing bore of pipe in 20mm and connections, and removal to store etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Steel Tubes Medium Grade Bore of tube in 15mm galavanised with all fitting laid in walls, ceiling or laid in floors etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Wire netting of stainless steel wire 0.71 mm dia fixed with tinned tacks of wire staples/screws having size of mesh 25 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting of any guage/thickness as in expansion /crumple joints etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 0.56 mm thick Plain, Aluminium sheeting, Alloy 31000 H4 in ridges, hips, valley gutter, drip and straight flashing,expansion/crumple joints etc. cutting into required width and fixed with screws as required (length and girth as fixed) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix LT overhead lines XLPE insulated aerial bunched (AB) cable 3 core x 95 sqmm (insulated phase conductors) + 1 core x 70 sqmm (bare neutral messanger conductor) as per IS 14255 (1995) for working voltage upto 1100 volts on existing 09 mtr LT steel tubular poles complete all as specified.

Supply and fix LT overhead lines XLPE insulated aerial bunched (AB) cable 3 core x 70 sqmm (insulated phase conductors) + 1 core x 50 sqmm (bare neutral messanger conductor) as per IS 14255 (1995) for working voltage upto 1100 volts on existing 09 mtr LT steel tubular poles complete all as specified.

Supply and fix LT overhead lines XLPE insulated aerial bunched (AB) cable 3 core x 50 sqmm (insulated phase conductors) + 1 core x 35 sqmm (bare neutral messanger conductor) as per IS 14255 (1995) for working voltage upto 1100 volts on existing 09 mtr LT steel tubular poles complete all as specified.

Supply and fix LT overhead lines XLPE insulated aerial bunched (AB) cable 1 core x 16 sqmm (insulated phase conductors) + 1 core x 16 sqmm (bare neutral messanger conductor) as per IS 14255 (1995) for working voltage upto 1100 volts on existing 09 mtr LT steel tubular poles complete all as specified.

Supply and fix insulation piercing connectors (IPC) made of high strength engineering plastic with contact plates of aluminium alloy for main cable of 50-95 sqmm with taps ranging from 16-95 sqmm IPC type 002 for distribution/service connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix insulation piercing connectors (IPC) made of high strength engineering plastic with contact plates of aluminium alloy for main cable of 16 sqmm with taps ranging from 1.5-25 sqmm IPC type 002 for street light connections complete all as specified.

Supply and fix suspension clamp with eye hook incl nuts bolts and washers suitable for 16-70 sqmm LT AB Cable complete all as specified.

Supply and fix anchoring clamp suitable for cable size 16-70 sqmm with Al. alloy bracket, stainless steel strap, buckles, eye hook incl nuts bolts and washers complete all as specified.

Supply and fix fire retartdant engineering thermoplastic (PC) 3 phase distribution box of size not less than 275x310x210mm IP65 rated, with spring loaded or aluminium strip bus bar connection for 4 Nos outgoing cable connections including bracket/clamps, buckles, eye hook, nut-bolts and washers complete all as specified.

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600×600×6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel protected by 40 mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) all as shown in electrical plate No. 3, connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 400x400x60mm reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar @ 50mm c/c with one handle for lifitting made out of 8 mm dia MS bar including fixing funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) for watering including charcoal and salt in alternative layers necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing complete all as shown on electrical plate No-3 of SSR part-I, 2009.

Supply & fixing stay assembly complete with all accessories, such as stay plate 300x300x6mm, stay rod 215cm long and 20 mm dia with nuts including GI bow turn buckle etc., all as per Electrical plate No 1 or SSR -2009 Part I complete all as specified. Note. Loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation, PCC will be paid seperately under relevant items of Sch A

M&L for loop type insulators vitreous porcelain white, brown or green large size with overall dimensions 65x90 mm clearance of hole 25.5 mm complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches/holes in soft/disintegrated rock not exc 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying UG cable/foundation/for poles etc complete all as specified.

Returning filling in soft/disintegrated rock including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm each layer complete all as specified.

Removal of excavated surplus soft/disintegrated rock to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 50 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / pole post /under culvert/ under road incl nut, bolts and clamps for fixing to pole etc. complete all as specified.

PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundation of pole and stay as in mass concrete complete all as specified.

PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth block of pole and stay including necessary frame work complete all as specified.

Supply and erection, in truly vertical position LT Steel tublar swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate finial taper plug, bolt , nut and screwed type 410 (SP-31) 09 mtrs long Class -10 including painting of poles with two coats of synthatic enamel paint in black and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from coping over a coat of red oxide primer including numbering of poles complete all as specified. (Note : PCC, Earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items)

M&L steel work in FE-410-S grade for cross arms, bracing, supported, clamps & back plates fabricted from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding. Bending cold and hot Drilling hole for bolts, in any size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat of red oxide primer, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint aluminum grey complete as specified.

Supply and fix street light panel, single phase, 6 kwatt with digital 24 hrs time switch, contactor of rating 32 Amp, SPN MCB 40 Amp, with in-built Short-Circuit Protection feature, conforming to IS/IEC 61439 & 60529, provided with protection degree IP 54, FRLS (Fire retardant low smoke) internal wiring complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of MCCB 3 pole, 160 Amp, with breaking capacity 16kA, 415 V, 50 Hz thermal adjustable and fixed magnetic setting type complete all as specified.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning 3½ core 70 sqmm,1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape, armoured with galvanized steel wire or tape and over all PVC sheathed multistranded conductor complete all as specified.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning 3½ core 95 sqmm,1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape, armoured with galvanized steel wire or tape and over all PVC sheathed multistranded conductor complete all as specified.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning 2 core 16 sqmm,1100 volts grade, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape, armoured with galvanized steel wire or tape and over all PVC sheathed multistranded conductor complete all as specified.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ / 4 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 70 to 95 sqmm, Indoor/Outdoor type complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for sand cushioning (dry sand) to under ground cable for cable protection provided with layers 8cm thick before laying and 15cm thick after laying the cable and punned down to 18 cm thickness complete all as specified. Note : For payment purpose, punned thickness of 18cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23cm as mentioned in para19.75 of SSR Part-I, 2009.

Supply and laying sub class B bricks old size for protection of cables laid lengthwise perpendicular to the axis of cable, adjecent to each other complete all as specified.

Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 80 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / pole post /under culvert/ under road incl nut, bolts and clamps for fixing to pole etc. complete all as specified.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete and carrying to MES store for issue of credit complete all as specified.

Dismantling insulators incl nut bolts & washers of any type, any size complete all as specified.

Dismantling stay assembly complete all as specified.

Dismantling earth wire or copper conductor, service feeder or distributor span complete all as specified.

Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors of any type and size complete all as specified.

Labour only for dismantling steel tubular pole any size complete all as specified.

Note : Tenderers may note that amount of credit Rs 63,464.00 will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
