SPECIAL REPAIR TO VERHEAD TANK 25000 GALLONS AND 10000 GALLONS AT ASC PUMP HOUSE UNDER GE RAMGARH CANTT

Repairs to overhead tank 100000 gallons capacity of 18.30 metre height staging.:

M & L for cutting construction joint in 'V' shaped grooves (covering the area of the 10cm from center line of crake with the depth of 10mm to 30mm), removal of existing deteriorate surface of RCC roof slab,beams,columns, chhajja and similar work in any position of damaged/loose concrete removed carefully by using chisel and hammer or by breaker to expose the reinforcement (Direct hammering should be avoided, if the concrete is loose, it will sound hollow and cracks in the concrete also observed) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Drilling of holes in the honeycomb portion by mechanical drill machine 12 mm dia and cleaning the holes with compressed air etccomplete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for patching the entire 'V' shaped grooves over nozzle grouting area with cement, admixed with quick setting compound etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for drilling hole in RCC using drilling machine upto a profundity of 12 mm dia ,expel dust etc by vaccum cleaner, compressed air and blowers and providing & fixing 12 mm dia PVC nozzles for grouting with quick setting compound admix with cement etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for grouting to inject with cement mixture with Cebex-100, Make- Foceroc through the nozzle by high pressure injection pump at a pressure at 2.5 kg/sq cm. All these operations are made from inside/outside of the reservoir/tank and arrange all necessary scaffolding needed to complete the entire procedure. Disconnecting the nozzles and finishing the surface two component epoxy putty acomplete all as specified and directed.

M & L for coating the entire patched area and ajoining walls by cementicious acrylic polymer dispersion coating Aqua Arm Top Guard, Make- MYK Arment or equivalent make of Thermax/Torchtar Ltd/Ooms polymer Ltd complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for water testing of tank by filling the tank with water and for successfully prevention of the water leakage switch over to the next level for epoxy coating otherwise follow step of item No 1 & 2 here-in before ,where required. Now the water to be made emtpy and a water prooing coating to be made in two coats in the inner wall and floor of the tank with potable grade water base epoxy Aqua Arm Tank Coat, MYK ARMENT or equivalent make of Thermax/Torchtar Ltd/Ooms polymer Ltd complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying two coats of anti-fungal painting after preparation of old plastered/unplastered surfaces of overhead tank 100000 gallon capacity of 18.30 mtr height staging including walls, cornices, pillaster, soffits of tank, top dome, etc by brooming down or steel wire brushing including filling up of holes/cracks using white cement/wall putty and removal of nails/removing of roots of small trees & plants and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces such as ladders, railing, inlet, outlet, overflow and wash out pipes etc., and inlet, outlet, over flow and washout pipes as colour coding including necessary scaffolding etc.,complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillar etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No. 1.19 here-in-before but except bricks, using old but serviceable bricks as retrieved.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick walls or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) finishing the surfaces even and smooth, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- (a)The work shall be undertaken having experience of OHT rehabilitation work,experience and execution of work also done by authorized applicator with certificate is mandatory before commencement of work. (b) Guarantee for structural repair as well as no leakage seepage of tank for a period of 10 (Ten) years from the certified date of completion is also required. (c) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like belts,ropes,helmets,netting etc which are required for safety of working including fixing of steel pipe scaffolding (Telescoping or otherwise) including steel sheet lining or steel plate stiffenend with steel angle and cradles including hoisting and lowering as required with and including all kind of fixing arrangement suitable for over head tank of any shape or type for 25000 gallons to 100000 gallons capacity fixed all around OHT and below bottom dome to carry out necessary repair/ replacement work at height exceeding 3 m and upto 18.30 m height shall be mandatory deemed to be inclusive on quoted rates from item no-1.01 to 1.22 and nothing extra will be entertained on this account.
