REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF SIGN BOARD, DRAIN CLEANING, GRASS CUTTING AND PAINTING TO CERTAIN LOCATION IN TECH AREA AT AF STN PHALODI

M & L for preparation of existing painted/unpainted surfaces ATC Dispersal, HU dispersal, all links, loops & ORA (painting lines, dashes, arrows, degination letters etc) of pavements with compressed air blower 50 to 90 PSI, coir, wire brushes to remove all loose dirt, dust, grease spots or any foreign materials etc,old concrete surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width not otherwise described and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) The Black strips on either side of other colour paint line, arrows letter, dashes shall be measured combined width wise for the purpose of calculating the area of painting. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of supply and fixing of masking tape to protect pavement surface for spilled out of paint and removal & disposal of the same from MOD land. (ii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement. (iii) Rate including from any aircraft coming and stoppage of work in a day.

M & L for preparation of existing treated/untreated surfaces of pavement with wire, coir brushes compressed air blower to remove all loose dust, dirt , grease spots etc and applying a one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in -charge.

Cutting/cleaning grass near shoulders of Runway, taxitrack, ORA, Approch light ,DTGM, Signboards and other area with surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil and including cleaning away all grass and removing materials obtained from cutting/cleaning to a distance exceeding 3.0 Km but not exceeding 3.5 Km from out side the periphery of the area under clearance and depositing the same in low laying area, site clearance complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Grass cutting by bush cutter/manually as directed upto 3.0 m from the edge of Runway, PTT, LTT and dispersals. (ii) The height of grass after cutting shall not remains more than 3cm. (iii) Site availability shall be as per User's /site requirement.

Cleaning of silt or dirt or vegetation less than 50 mm thick layer manually from open drains accumulated through rain water and storm air and removing the mud/garbage/debris to a distance exceeding 3.0 Km but not exceeding 3.5 Km from out side the periphery of the area under clearance and depositing the same in low laying area and including removing of existing materials complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing damaged/unserviceable Sign Boards of any size and description fixed in any position from shoulders of runway/Taxiway/Links and stacking and removing from site and making good to disturbed area complete all as specified

S&F of Sign boards of area exc 2 sqm but not exc 3 sqm and position from shoulders of runway/Taxiway/Links and the supporting structure described as under:- (a) Sheet & Frame :- UV protected sheet 3mm thick, with Air pocket ,100% UV resistance for 1000 Hrs, weathering tests or tensile strength as per ASTM G53 and very low flammability as per S-6746, Appx "N" 1994 , temperature resistance (-)40 degree centigrade to (+)80 degree centigrade and able to withstand wind to wind force of 150kg/hr, fixed on non-metallic frame/UPVC square tube frame having minimum tensile strength 4000 kgSqcm, impact strength of 139 Kg/Sqcm. Sheet & frame mounted to 1.80mm to 2.0mm thick GFRP cased on GI tubing light grade 40mm-2 Nos, 1.20m length each complete all as specified and directed. (b) Sign Board :- Retro Reflective Sheeting, Class C, sheeting 3M Diamond Grade 3 (DG3) confirming to ASTMD 4956-09 type-XI with pressure sensitive adhesive fixed to the UPVC sheet & frame as per manufactures instructions. Size and shape of signs/number/indications & letters etc. complete all as specified and directed. (c) Sign Board fixing :- PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in pit of size 45 x 45x 60 cm & including excavation/earthwork in hard dense soil, returning filling and removal of surplus soil etc, outside taxiway/Runway/Links complete all as specified and directed.
