4) Providing and laying, at or near ground level, factory made kerb stone of M 25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar, 1:3 (1 cement : 3 sand), including making joints, with or without making grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
5) Cement concrete, 1:2:4 (1 cement ; 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregate, 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge
6) Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver blocks of required strength, thickness & size / shape, made by table vibratory method to attain superior smooth finish using PU or equivalent moulds, laid in required grey colour & pattern over 50 mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding / laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc, all complete as per specifications & approval / direction of the Engineer-in-charge 6.1) 80 mm thick CC paver block of M 35 grade with approved colour, design and pattern
7) Providing and laying 500 mm × 500 mm × 40 mm thick turf paver (Turfpave XD) on 150 mm thick sub-grade of compacted bed of 20 mm thick nominal size well burnt brick aggregate and base course and filling with 150 mm thick fine sand, including spreading, well ramming, consolidating and finishing smooth etc, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
8) Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC: 67, made of encapsulated lens reflective sheeting, vide MoRD Technical Specification, Clause No: 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheet, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 m², supported on GI pipe, 50 mm diameter, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete, 450 mm × 450 mm × 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level, as per drawings and MoRD Technical Specification, Clause No: 1701
9) Painting lines, dashes, arrows, etc on roads in two coats on new work with ready-mix road marking paint, conforming to IS: 164, on bituminous / concrete surface, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matters, demarcation at site and traffic control as per drawing and MoRD Technical Specification, Clause No: 1702
10) Provision of 15 no rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15 mm – 20 mm high at centre, 250 mm wide, placed at 1.0 m centre to centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint
O 1) Supply at site of work well decayed farmyard manure, from any available source, approved by the Engineer-in-charge, including screening and staking
2) Spreading of sludge / farm yard manure / good earth in required thickness (cost of sludge, farm yard manure or/and good earth to be paid for separately) as per MoRTH Technical Specification Clause No: 307
3) Turfing lawn with fine grassing including ploughing, dressing including breaking of clods, removal of rubbish and supplying doob grass roots at 10 cm apart, including supplying and spreading farm yard manure at the rate of 0.6 m³/100 m²
4) Planting flowering plants and shrubs in central verge (200 plants and 800 shrubs in two rows in 1 km length of road where width of verge is 3 m and above) as per MoRTH Technical Specification Clause: 307
5) Planting of permanent hedges including digging of trenches, 60 cm wide and 45 cm deep, refilling the excavated earth mixed with farm yard manure, supplied at the rate of 465.0 m³/100 m and supplying ad planting hedge plants at 30 cm apart
6) Planting of trees by the road side (avenue trees) in 0.60 m diameter holes, 1.0 m deep, dug in the ground, mixing the soil with decayed farm yard / sludge manure, planting the saplings, backfilling the trench, watering, fixing the tree guard and maintaining the plants for one year
7) Providing and fixing tree guard, 0.60 m square, 2.0 m high, fabricated with MS angle iron, 30 mm × 30 mm × 3 mm, MS iron, 25 mm × 3 mm and steel wire, 3 mm diameter, welded and fabricated as per design in two halves bolted together
