CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF DPR ON COMPLETE DESIGN OF CENTRAL DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM WITH SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AT DEFENCE COLONY, OT ROAD, RANGE COLONY AND DRIVERS COLONY BALASORE

(A) Consultancy Services for Design of Central Sewage network work, Drainage network which includes All the topographic details like sewage line network, invert level of each MH, marking defective line / MH, roads / paths (Kachha / pucca), nallah, tanks, wells, houses, drain, high-tension line, electric poles, telephone poles, gas / water pipe line poles (visible on ground), field bunds etc, shall be collected. Drainage System: Hydraulic Analysis, Calculation of rainfall Intensity and duration, Frequency of storm and return period , proposal to drain out the excess flooded water etc complete design of Drainage system Note : Site plan area are in 3 pockets described as below and length of proposed sewage line is 2600 meter (Approx) and one pocket is 1400 metre (Approx). The length of sewage line given here-in-before is not fixid it may vary as per site condition and no extra cost shall be paid to the consultant on this account. Defence colony area, for evolving the draft design scheme and shall submit initial, conceptual presentation at Garrison Engineer (I) R & D Chandipur and there after shall prepare and submit the following details/documents in details within 30 days.

(i) Detail topographical survey of the land at Defence colony campus (preliminary field data collection, contouring, surveying and site leveling data to be done as per relevent guidelines). 1) To survey land boundary with co-ordinates of each corner points and dimension of each arm by total station/ DGPS. 2) Total area of land. 3) To submit Auto CAD drawing with suitable scale along with hard and soft copy Topographical survey with contour. Master plan showing the followings: - a) All natural features like ditches and water bodies with dimension. b) All man made features like existing buildings, road, electrical pylons, wells, water pipe lines, electric/ communication cable lines, gas pipe lines, area drain and all other permanent structures with dimensions. c) Taking spot level 5mt. x 5mt. grids & contour interval 0.5mt. Pocket 1: Proofpark Colony -56000 Sqm Pocket 2: Range Officers Colony - 20000 Sqm Pocket 3 : OT Road Colony -28000 Sqm Pocket 4 : PXE & ITR Colony -182500 Sqm Note : The area of ground given above is approximate area, it may vary during survey and no extra cost shall be paid to the consultant on this account. (ii) Collection of empirical data by ascertaining the estimated quantity of sewage generated, calculating the flow rates and finding out actual quantum of sewage to be treated etc and submitting the design calculations based on the data collected at site.

(iii) Preparing and submitting schedule layout plans showing RL/IL of the proposed sewer lines of the area covered within Balasore Station, proposed locations of the Collection Sumps, Pump Houses, details and locations of Drop Manholes with reference to the proposed locations of STP (as proposed by consultant) and allied structures. (iv)Minimum size of sewer ,capacity of sewer (depth of flow) velocity in sewer, sewer transition,manholes design and details including bill of quantities with material. (v) L-sectional diagrams of proposed sewage pipe lines and Manholes and Drop manholes (all relevant RL and IL should be mentioned) (vi) Design Details of self cleansing velocity of the sewer line between point to point and diameter of the pipes to be considered needs to designed in each case. (vii) Preparing and submitting Detailed Project Report for hydraulic design of sewage disposal system with diagram marked on contour map sketch of scheme showing ground and invert level of Manhole including design of Pumps and pipe lines which will be used for disposal of sewage through pressure upto proposed STP.Flow rate calculaton , sewer design calculation and wet well hydraulics. (viii)Pumping stations,sump wells including design drawings and bill of quantities. (ix) The consultant shall submit 05 (Five) sets of all schematic layout plans, contour maps, data collected, test reports, design calculations, drawings etc. as mentioned above for scrutiny by the client.

(x) Consultant should submit detailed calculation of pipe line (daimeter / bore, material, gradient, length, jointing details) etc and number of manholes and drop manholes, collection sumps. (xi) Water hammer analysis for pressure pipe line and suggestions if any. (xii) Apart from giving the hydraulic design of sewage disposal system under gravity, the consultant needs to give design of pipes lines under pressure alongwith relevant details as required on site. (xiii) Existing sanitation system & disposal (xiv) Water requirement and demand calculation (xv) Design period and peak factor (xvi)Complete drawings and bill of quantities for each item of work. (B) DPR should be vetted by IIT / NIT Preparation of complete scheme of STP design including sewage line as per latest technology, E-in-C's TI / CPHEEO manual and laid down policies. The design shall meet all the relevant codal requirement. Submission of following working details are also included :- (a) Scaled layout drawing duly supported by design calculation. (b) Schedule of quantities (BOQ) and particulars specification, estimation with supporting rate analysis of each unit / item and all necessary work services. (c) Hydraulic calculation

(d) Detail Project Report (e) Vetting from IITs / NITs (f) Providing all assistance with supporting details / documents for scrutiny of the above at GE / CE level. Note : 1. All the details shall be submitted in A1 size sheets except sectional diagram (Contour plan to be in Scale 1 : 1000) and consolidated project plan (Site plan, Schematic diagram) which shall be A2 and A0 sheets (05 sets) alongwith the marking on Tracing Paper. 2. All marking to be in different colours clearly indicating the legends. 3. Scale of Contour Map shall be in 1 : 1000. 4 All soft copies of above details will have to be submitted in CDs/ E-Mail also. 5. Area of the station is 40 acres (approx), and population of the station is 2500 (approx). 6. Hydraulic design of the sewage system to be done as per latest CPHEEO manual 2016 and E-in-C's branch policy letter No 86435/Misc/E4 (U3) dated 19 May 2017 (for peak flow factor)
