Deepening and formation of Bund using Coir geotextile

OD38212/2023-2024:Removing water weeds such as hyacinth,grass etc by rooting out small trees and all other debris using ambhibius excavator where ever necessary including conveying the debris from the site and disposing the same by conveying debris to contractors own place of choice with all charges of loading, unloading, transportation etc complete and disposing the same suitably without causing any harm to the environment etc complete as per the direction of deptl. officers at site.

OD28297/2022-2023:Earth work in excavation for removal of silt by mechanical means using sophisticated equipment like amphibious excavator or any equivalent mechanical equipment with necessary accessories like transport barges, mechanized boats etc as appropriate and as directed for desilting rivers, to the desired depth to ensure free flow in the river including getting out and formation of bund using the desilted material with proper compaction including necessary lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The rate shall include disposal of excavated earth/clay temporary storage of all materials on the banks or other suitable locations by means of loaders/tippers/mechanized boats etc as appropriate as directed, all the charges for labour, equipments, conveyance of materials, incidentals complete as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge.

OD38395/2023-2024:Supplying, stacking and laying coir geo-textiles type H2M5(unit weight-740g/sqm,mesh size 7.57mmX8.04 mm having a yarn diameter 3.5 mm and tensile strength of 4.2-1.3cN/tex) made from cocounut fibre extracted from the husk of cocunut , developed for specific civil engineering application like erosion control ,ground improvement filteration,drainage,river bank protection ,road pavements,slope stabilization etc. The standard of coir geo-textile shall confirm with IS 15868(part 6): 2008 and IS 15340:2003. The coirgeotextile shall be layed and fixed using appropriate J clip/bamboo stakes and plastering the sides with excavated mud, then planting anti erosion plants/grass as a mode of ecofriendly bank protection. The bamboo clip shall be made from smaller secondary branches with nail (eye bud)originating from the node having a minimum length of 20cm. The type of bamboo shall be of bambusa bamboos or similar spieces having good anchoroage with the ground. Bamboo clip shall be used max 1metre interval in both direction. The coir geotextile shall be firmly sticked to the soil in line and level as per direction of site officer incharge. In no case it shall be losened,additional strengthening of clamping shall be made at the edges of the coir geotextile as directed by Engineer -in -Charge.
