Supply insttallation commmissioning and testing of silent diesel engine drive factory assembled floor mounted, Generating set of capacity 125 KVA, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 1500 RPM complete with safety control and metering equipment mounted on common base frame on new PCC foundation required at site and as recommended by manufacturer, complet all as specified and as directed comprising of the following.

(A) Prime Mover directly coupled, diesel engine tubo charged water cooled suitably de-rated of matching BHP for driving 125 KVA capacity alternator electric start, four stroke, 1500 RPM conforming to IS-10000 part -II, 1980, IS10001/10002 for continuous running and capable for taking 10% overload for one hour complete with the following accessories:-

Fly wheel to suit flexible coupling

Flexible coupling with guard

Air cleaners both oil type/dry type with filters

Lubricating oil filter, fuel filter, fule pre filter

Blower type fan

Fule injecting system with injection pump, nozzles, governer (Electronic) of sutable capacity

Electric start equipment

Lead acid storage maintenance free battery 12 volts of rating 180AH (02 Nos) with charging, alternator, ammeter, as recommended by manufacturer make : Exide alongwith copper battery lead and connector.

Battery rack made out of MS angle iron 40mm x 40mm x 5mm & 150mm height.

Standard safety device libe.

Fule tank of suitable capacity for minimum 08 hrs run with mechanical lever indicator, as per manufacturers specification detachable, strainer, drain cock, fuel outelet, air vent and locking arrangement etc, including fuel pipe conncections.

Exhaust silencer (Residental silencer) with exhaust piping of sitable size brought out side on top of size 76.5 mm dia and complete length of silencer and exhaust piping continuosly wrapped with 12 mm dia asbestos rope and suitable anti-vibaration arrangement around pipe passing through wall.

LED display type control panel as per manufacturere's instructions indicating KWH, KVA, PF Volts, Amps, HZ, RPM Hour, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolent temperature fuel level battery charging ammeter, battery charging lamp and indicator lamp (RYB), panel duly per wired and displaying protection and safeties as under:-

Protection :- Short circuit, over laod, over speed, earth fault as standard and reverse power as optional.

Safeties :- Auto shut down, visual & audio alarm for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature, low fuel lavel, canopy temperature & radiator water lavel.

(B) Alternator 125 KVA brushless type at 0.8 power factor, self regulated, self excited, screen protected 3 phase with neutral 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, as per IS : 13364/ IS : 2613/ IS-4722 complete with automatic voltage regulator, having voltage regulation +/-1%, SPDP encloser including making cable, connections, insulation class - H, permanent lubricating bearing, permissible overloading upto 10% for one hour, permissible unbalancing capability minimum 25% per phase and alternator control panel as supplied by manufacturer.

(C) AMF CONTROL PANEL:- As per manufacturer's design with the following options: (a) Start/ stop settings including delay and timing setting duly programmable. (b) programmable timing for idle running . (c) Auto/ manual option. (d) Self starting kiks for three times or as per programme . (e) Alarm for any fault with buzzer and indicating lamp . (f) One main supply voltage monitor . (g) One alternator supply voltage monitor . (h) One set of DC control relays and timers. (j) One set of control relays for the automatic control system .

(D) Base frame sturdy, MS febricated, channel iron base freame for mounting the engine & alternator with anti vibration pads.

(E) Acoustic encloser of suitable size to accommodate DG set 125 KVA, modular constuction, febricated out of 3mm tihick, cold annealed CRCA sheet duly epoxy painted doors to be provided with high quality EDPN gasket, duly epoxy painted. The canopy to be equipped with heavy duty with heavy duty fancs of reputed manufacturer for air circulatiion and cooling the canpy. Rock wool of requiste denesity per Kg M3 to be used for insulation. Enclosure to be provided with one light point controlled with one switch for internal lighting. Noise level at one meter to be 75 decibels@ one mtr. in line as per CPCB norms. (F) FOUNDATION:- Foundation of the DG set (PCC/RCC) will be provided by the contractor and will be made as per the manufacturers instruction. Cost of foundaton is deemed to be included in the rate of this item. NOTE :-(a) The engine of DG set suitably conditioned to suit the climatic condition of Landowne (UK) station, so as to give desired outputs including and testing up to 10% over load. (b) The items required for testing of DG set e.g. fuel, tripod, tools , water tank etc. and panel shall be provided by the contractor and the rate of which is deemed to to be included in the rate of this item. Testing of DG set will be carried out as specified. (c) Generating set will be placed on suitable foundation as recommended by manufacturer and cost thereof shall be included on the prices quoted . (d)Tools shall be supplied as per manufacturer,s instructions and cost thereof shall be included in the price quoted . (e) DG Set shall be placed at the site directed by Eng-in-charge which can be upto 20 meter from the road. (f) Testing of DG set shall be done as per relivant clause of PS.

Supply & laying cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip armored. Electric power cable (heavy duty) 1100 V grade with stranderd aluminium conducter of size 95 Sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exc.1.5 mtr in depth for poles /laying of electric underground cables and GI tubing (where provided for protection of cables) and getting out trimmimg the sides, forming bottom surface to required level in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning , filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for fine dry sand cushing for under ground cable by providing layers of sand 8cm deep before laying and 15cm deep after laying the cable including streching the cable complete all as specified and directed . Note:- Punned (consolidated ) thickness of sand will be measured .

M&L for well burnt bricks sub class 'B' in old size as cable protection laid flat width wise complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and laid 80 mm GI light grade pipe for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for Item No 10 :- 1. Panel manufacturers should have in house powder coating plant with minimum 8 tank pretreatment of MS sheet facilities, dust free spray paint booth.(8 tanks pretreatment process includes: degreasing/water rinsing/de-dusting/water rinsing/activation/phosphating water rinsing/passivation). 2. Thickness of powder coating shall not be less than 80 microns and test certificate for powder coating shall be furnished along with LT panel 3. The panel manufacturer should have following certification: (i) CPRI certification degree of protection IP-54 ( should have IEC:61439-1-2 & IEC:60529 tests) (ii) CPRI certification short circuit with stand strength should be 50 KA RMS for 1 sec with initial peak of 105 KA (iii) CPRI certification rated current for short circuit not less than 5000A 4.
