Earthwork in excavation for all type of road structures such as retaining wall, breast wall, culvert, drain and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiesling / wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibeted) as per drawing and technical specification true to lines and grades. Dimesions and other particulars as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 305.1(Three hundred Five point One) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all lead and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. All work of excavation by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosions, damage to hill side, water pollutions etc., and to protect stability of hill side rock. Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable excavated materials in specified manners to dumping site(to be arranged by the contractor), trimming, filling of unevenness blindages and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge if the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring, rain seepage and other causes, it shall be removed by the suitable diversion, bailing out or de watering as directed and the area of the foundation shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of execution shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost of all cases.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm(four milimeter) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 (two hudred eighty) and IS:4826(four thousand eight hundred twenty six) in 100 mm x 100 mm(one hundred into one hundred milimeter) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10(ten) per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg (twenty five kilogramme) each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301,(one thousand three hundred one) including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.

Backfilling of Granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall, breast walls, retaining walls and parapets up to all heights, depths and levels complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 1204.3.8 (one thousand two hundred four point three point eight) , including carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportations in all leads lifts and all incidental charges.
