| 1.00Notes for Water Supply Work related items of Schedule 'A' :- (i) The water supply line repair work to be carried out both in Defence Cantt as well as in Civil area in any description and in different locations in full / part. (ii) It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that repair work is nowhere hampered during any stage i.e. currency of contract as such contractor shall prepare well in advance by liaisoning with concerned State / Central department authorities under whose jurisdiction it lies, in no case work to be stopped in half way for want of permission etc in case necessary fee if any shall be borne by the contractor for which no payment shall be reimbursed. (iii) Necessary barricade, diversion boards and necessary safety signs etc as per safety norms shall be made & arranged by Contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (iv) During execution damage occurred to any sort structure etc the same shall be made good to its original specification by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (v) In case of road cutting inside Defence Cantt is inevitable the same shall be cut to required size and shape only after obtaining written approval of Engineer-in Charge, in no case road cutting be done without written approval of EIC. Vice versa if road cutting in Civil area is inevitable in that case necessary prior permission to be obtained by the contractor from concerned Govt authorities. In case of any fees etc the same shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. The road cutting shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. Notes for Water Supply Work related items of Schedule 'A' :- (i) The water supply line repair work to be carried out both in Defence Cantt as well as in Civil area in any description and in different locations in full / part. (ii) It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that repair work is nowhere hampered during any stage i.e. currency of contract as such contractor shall prepare well in advance by liaisoning with concerned State / Central department authorities under whose jurisdiction it lies, in no case work to be stopped in half way for want of permission etc in case necessary fee if any shall be borne by the contractor for which no payment shall be reimbursed. (iii) Necessary barricade, diversion boards and necessary safety signs etc as per safety norms shall be made & arranged by Contractor without any extra cost to Govt. M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stops, coved fillets and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & as directed.
Formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunching, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.
S&F 250 mm dia Flue Pipes of Mild Steel Sheet 22 gauge, black, in suitable lengths as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, fixed to walls, compete all as specified and as directed.
S&F 1.25 mm thick mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.
S&F rolled mild steel in framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc. complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete conforming to Fe.290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for expanded metal weight not exceeding 4 Kgs per Sqm, cut to length, bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:4:8, type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for average 40mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in floors, pavings, etc., finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surfaces other than fair faces of brick work, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for two coats of 1st quality synthetic enemal paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chromate primer over any description of new steel surface over 10 cm in width or girth including necessary preparation of new steel surfaces complete all as directed.
Taking up or down existing unserviceable water mains Ductile Iron Pipes of 150mm bore of any class/ type including disconnecting pipes and fittings complete all as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.
Supply, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron (DI) Spun pressure pipes (Class K9) of 150mm bore (ISI marked) conforming to IS : 8329-2000 with internal cement mortar lining and external zinc coating (130 gm/sqm minimum) and bituminous finish layer (minimum thickness 70 microns) with socket & spigot ends with push on joints with & including EPDM rubber gasket laid in trenches in any length complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork and fittings shall be measured & paid for separately.
Supply and fixing Ductile Iron fittings, specials (K-12) such as bends, tapers, collars, reducers, tee pieces (single or double branch) any type, angle/radius and straight connecting pieces etc (ISI marked) conforming to IS-9523 for flanged/socket and spigot ends suitable for DI pipe upto 300 mm bore, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F in repairs 50mm bore Gun metal gate valve (ISI marked) with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe complete all as specified & as directed.
Supply & fixing cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class ‘PN-1.6’ of 80 mm bore, ISI marked with IS 14846, both flanged ends and drilled, high tensile stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass ring, non rising type, cast iron wheel handle, cast iron cap, with 3mm thick neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts, bolts (high tensile), washers etc, and testing, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable sluice valve of 80 mm bore, complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for cutting of existing PCC floor / hardstanding / Interlocking tiles path / WBM road with soling & premix carpet of any description for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 150cm and width 70cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed including re-setting of interlocking tiles/ Paver block (where required) complete all as directed.
S&F 10 Sqmm, 3 core, 1100 V grade, ISI marked, flat/ round submersible multistranded copper conductor PVC insulated and PVC sheathed cable for connection of pupmsets with water proof jointing material, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable, complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F in repair MCCB, 4 Pole, 250 Amps, rupturing capacity 36 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, adjustable Thermal - Magnetic release type including electric connection & testing complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F in repair 3 Pole Power Contactor, 40 Amp AC3 rating, 2 NO + 2 NC, including necessary connections for incoming and outgoing complete all as directed. Make : Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (Formerly L&T) ‘Type ML 3’ Cat No. SS90721 or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.
S&F in repair fully automatic Star Delta starter in sheet steel enclosure for 25 to 30 HP motor pump 415V, 50Hz, 3 Phase with SPP feature complete including connecting by using proper lugs complete. Make: Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (Formerly L&T) Model No. MU-G30 FASD or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after.
Taking down existing flood light fitting of any description and Supply, installation, commissioning & testing 200 Watt LED Flood Light fitting, Luminaire Efficacy ≥ 110 lm/W, Correlated Colour Temperature (CCT) 5665K ± 355K, Colour Rendering Index (CRI) shall not be less than 70, fitting shall be designed for a system life of 50,000 hours @ 70% lumen maintenance, suitable for ambient temperature from (-)10°C to 50°C, Ingress protection of IP-66 (minimum), mechanical impact resistance rating of IK ≥ 07, operating voltage range 140 V to 270 V, AC, 50 Hz, Power factor ≥ 0.95, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) ≤ 10%, Built-in Surge Protection not less than 4 KV, External Surge Protection not less than 10 KV, double phase protection, no load, open circuit and short circuit protection, powder coated pressure die cast aluminium housing, PMMA/polycarbonate/toughened glass heat resistant cover, prewired and connecting, complete all as specified and as directed.
