REPAIR MAINT AND CLEANING OF RAW WATER TANKS FILTER MEDIA AND SYL AREA INCLUDING CONNECTED ITEMS OF SECTOR C UNDER GE UTILITY AMBALA

Material and labour for draining out water completely from the Gravity sand filter bed-01 Nos, size of each bed (double compartment) is 5.5Mtr x 8Mtr at SYL, removing the gravel/boulders , sand, silt, dirt etc from the filter beds and old unused gravel and sand shall be thrown out not exceeding 500 mtr, scrapping all the inner walls and bottom of the tanks by scrubbing with steel wire brush, washing with clean water and applying two coats of white lime wash on all internal and external surfaces of the bed, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and filling round boulder/gravel layer of 300 mm thick of approved quality of size 40-50 mm or as per IS 8419 (Part 1) in filter bed unit No 1 & 2 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling round gravel layer of 500 mm thick of approved quality of size 3.15mm to 10mm or as per IS 8419 (Part 1) in filter bed unit No 1 & 2 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and filling silica sand of 750mm thick layer above the gravel, effective size of sand should be 0.45mm to 0.70mm, specific gravity of 2.55 to 2.65 and uniformity coefficient 1.3 to 1.7 in filter bed unit No 1 and 2 at SYL of approved quality complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the Air scour Rotary twin-lobe blower/compressor 1000cum/hr @ 4000mmWC from the foundation and shifting it to local workshop approved by accepting officer for servicing/repairing of connected items, cleaning the air filter, lubricating the mechanical parts like lobes, gears, bearings(replacing the bearings if required) etc and filling the lub oil of Servo system 320 of IOC and ENCLO-320 of HPCL-03 ltrs, supply & fixing in replacement of a air cleaner filter of air blower and any other suitable part if required and transporting back to SYL plant and refixing at the same place including connecting all electrical connections and V- belt and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- rate of spare parts which ever is required will not be paid seperately.

Disconnecting all electrical connections from electric motor 22KW/30HP and decoupling from air scour rotary twin blower and dismantling from foundation and transporting to local workshop approved by Accepting Officer for opening the motor taking out of burnt winding and thorough cleaning of the slotes, rewinding the complete motor with supper enamaled copper wire of same size and provn of supper quality insulating materials, warnishing and drying and taking back from wksp including lathe and other any type of machine work such as rotor work, welding, metalling, machining and grinding for bearing sheet etc and mounting, connecting all electrical connections alongwith reassembling pump set and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dewatering sludgy water from the clariflocculator of size 20m diax5m deep by means of diesel engine or pump including disilting, cleaning of clariflocculator, alum mixing chamber, aerator and its connected drain and taking out sludge in form of solid manually and getting out minimum of 500m distance and buried the same in low lying area, welding of angle iron 40x3mm size 140Kg , MS Plate 3mm thick 16Kg including painting of complete iron frame in two coats by black paint -165RM including replacement of u/s shaft, bearing and pinion of gear box complete testing as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Clarriflocculator and connected items should be cleaned at least three times during the contract period and cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering the sludge tank of capacity 0.6 LG by any means and removing the mud, silt, dirt etc from tank with the help of sludge motor/manually and scrapping all around the inner wall and bottom of the tank by scrubbing with steel wire brush, washing with clean water and applying two coats of white lime wash on the internal surface of the tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Sludge pump set shall be provided by the contractor and sludge tank should be cleaned at least three times during the contract period and cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering the Raw water sump of capacity 0.7 LG by any means and removing the mud, silt, dirt etc and scrapping all arround the inner wall and bottom of the tank by scrubbing with steel wire brush, washing with clean water and applying two coats of white lime wash on the internal surface of the tank complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note: Raw water tank will be available for cleaning 4 to 6 hrs everyday.Sludge pump set shall be provided by the contractor and sludge tank should be cleaned at least three times during the contract period and cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate.

Disconnecting all electrical connections from sludge motor of 20 HP and pulling from sludge tank, dismantling and transporting to local workshop approved by Accepting Officer for opening the motor taking out of burnt winding and thorough cleaning of the slots, rewinding the complete motor with super enameled copper wire of same size and provn of supper quality insulating materials, warnishing and drying and taking back from wksp including lathe and other any type of machine work such as rotor work, welding, metalling, machining and grinding for bearing sheet etc and transporting back to SYL, mounting, connecting all electrical connections alongwith relowering into the sludge tank and testing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Mild steel framed works such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars, shouldered and/or rivetted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; frame works of water tank and similar work confirming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing of bushes/shrubs, small trees, vegetation growth upto the bottom of raw water tank approx 10 mtr slant height, taking out debris and grass growth from the Raw water tank including using round up chemicals for killing/drying the bushes/weeds/shrubs etc. and removal of the same to a distance not exceeding 500mtr including making good all the surface of raw water tank upto the entire gravitation system complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per ser item no. 12 here in before but for Tank no. 2.

Notes: For Sr No 12 to 15 a) Please note that in one stage only One tank shall be provided for cleaning. b) Contractor shall provide boat & safety equipment during taking out the debris from water surface without dewatering the raw water tanks. c) Water supply should not be affected during cleaning of debris from raw water tank. d) Cleaning of Raw water tank and above mentioned area should be done atleast thrice during the period of CA & Cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate by contractor.

Surface dressing around the raw water reservoir not exceeding 30 cms deep by cutting/removing of bushes/small trees/vegetation growth upto a distance of appx 50 mtr or upto boundary wall around the raw water storage tank no. 1, and surface levelling by excavating/removing the soil, drains all around the raw water storage tank incl rough surface leveling/cutting,filling upto 12" height/ depth all around the Raw water tank and burning at a distance of 50mtr (minimum) in the presence of Engr-in-charge including sprinkling the round up chemicals for drying/killing the bushes,shrubs etc. Note for item No 16 to 19: Cleaning should be done atleast twice during contract period and the cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate by contractor.

Cutting/removing of bushes/small trees/vegetation growth upto a distance of appx 50 mtr around the old water filteration plant of SYL Ph-I, not exc 30cms deep incl drains all around the plant incl rough surface leveling/cutting,filling upto 12" height/ depth all around the plant and burning at a distance of 50mtr (minimum) in the presence of Engr-in-charge including sprinkling the round up chemicals for drying/killing the bushes,shrubs etc. Note: Cleaning should be done atleast twice during contract period and the cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate by contractor.

All as per ser item no. 20 here in before but for SYL Ph-II.

Desilting, cleaning (debris and grass growth) and removal of mud from canal of appx 1100 mtr taking out mud debris grass growth and any type of silt etc complete all and removal to a distance not exceeding 500mtr including making good all the bottom surface of canal complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Cleaning of Canal should be done every month and the cost to the same shall be included in the quoted rate by contractor.

M & L Complete removal of the wild grass/ vegetation from surrounding area of OHTs, Tubeswells/Boosters and installations area such as booster 1, booster 43, OHT 31, OHT 35, OHT 2, OHT 4, OHT 14 , OHT 10, OHT 10a, OHT-18,OHT 48 and making the surface clear and plain and spraying roundup chemical on the same clean area as directed after removing and depositing the same at a distance not less than 50 mtr away from the site complete all as specified. Note- All necessary T&P will be provided by the contractor and no extra amount will be paid for that seperately.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar incl all quoins, arches, pillars, in any situation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster from brick wall including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick walls or concrete external surfaces finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for vibratory compacted, precast cement concrete rubber moulded, colored (except grey color), interlocking designer paver blocks in Milano shape, confirming to IS-15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 grade, as in path, hard standing, etc. laid over and including 25mm compacted sand cushioning, including 75mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate including surface excavation over area n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil and removing excavated soil exc 50mtr but n. exc 250mtr, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old surfaces of CI/DI/GI pipe 100 to 20 mm bore by removing old paint and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on all external surfaces of CI/DI pipe for rising supply, overflow and washout 100mm bore vertical length including necessary scaffolding and other arrangement required for painting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L scraping the existing paint by using wire brushes and sand paper etc and preparing the external surface and applying two coats of cement base paint on OHT/UG sump at height of 20-25 mtr complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling complete GI slotted Pipe from Alum mixing Chambers and replacement of GI (slotted) Pipe of size 20mm bore min required length of 25 metres including replacement of existing rusted angle iron, round bar of existing size of mixer, PVC pipe of 50mm dia as required length as per existing system, painting, welding of mixer and its existing angle iron, and rewinding of existing no of motors (04) and repair of connecting gearboxes , testing to run complete as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- item has to be executed at site atleast within three months of commencement of contract if not then penalty of Rs 100 per day will be imposed on contractor.

Taking down and Material and labour for premium quality, glazed coloured ceramic tiles 200 x 200x 7 mm thick on vertical faces incl 10mm thick rough finished plaster in cement mortar (1:3) set joined in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and M & L Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match and including 15 mm thick screen bed in CM 1: 6 complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the UNSV sign board in Sector 'C' from different pump house area, Supply and fixing of retro reflector board of size 4'x3' with high quality retro reflector tape green base high intensity prismatic sheeting (HIP) grade white retro tape cutting good quality with 3mm thick ACP sheet base including 40mm x 40mm square size MS pipe legs and all around the board appx 18 feet incl welding the MS flat plate of size 25mm x 3mm across the board appx 10 feet including grouting the sign board in PCC 1:2:4 complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing in replacement of existing size with pre-insulated multi standard copper conductor cable flat of size 10 sqmm, 3 core submersible cable and connected with suitable and required thimbles and nut bolts to panels and Booster pump complete all as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing in replacement of existing size with pre-insulated multi standard copper conductor cable flat of size 6 sqmm, 3 core submersible cable and connected with suitable and required thimbles and nut bolts to panels and Booster pump complete all as directed.

Dismantling, opening and repair of existing pump set up to 5 hp with gearbox provided with pulley and two nos of belts taking it for repair to workshop, making the same functional including installation back at existing location & testing and making electrical connections , complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :(a) Spare parts required shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under the respective items (b) Make of spare parts shall be same as of existing pump set.

M&L Mild steel, plain, black sheet of thickness upto 5 mm in wall cladding, steel gates, tank covers and similar work, cut to size, holes punched, incl round headed screws, clout nails or rivets or nuts, bolts and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with rivetted or welded seams, incl bending or turning up, mitred angles etc and one coat of primer and one coat of paint after fixing as required all as specified and directed by Engr In Charge.

Chemical Analysis test of treated water sample taken from Filteration plant Ph- I & II at SYL, booster 1, booster 43 and submitted to PHE laboratory for the same along with 2 ltr water sample bottle for each test and the report must be submitted to this office on the last day of each month complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note :- Test report has to be submitted by contractor to deptartment till 05th day of every month if not then a penalty of Rs 100 per day will be imposed on contractor. Note: Test report has to be submitted by contractor to dept by 5th day of every month, if not then a penalty of Rs 100.00 per day will be imposed on contractor.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 48770.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit attached in tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
