Annual operation, repair and maintenance of WSS Manali Town from intake structure at Manalsu Nallah to WTPs (2 Nos. i.e existing and new at Old Manali ) and entire distribution system upto consumer end. The scope of work shall also include the followings:- 1) Generation/treatment and supplying of potable water having water quality conforming to IS -10500:2012 to all consumers of Manali Town alongwith the systematic testing of water samples at necessary treatment stages, while maintining accurate records of both water quantity and quality. 2)Operation, Repair and maintenance of all Raw water gravity mains, sector gravity mains, distribution system, scour pipes and fire fighting pipe lines, fire hydrants and including cost of addressing and rectifying leaks in pipeline systems . 3) Operation, repair and maintenance of all civil structure i.e intake system (trench weir, de-gravelling chamber, desilting tank), WTPs, sector storage tanks, pump houses. Ensuring water treatment of raw water having high turbidity during monsoon by applying required chemicals (such as lime and alum) alongwith the associated costs of these chemicals. 4. Operation, repair and maintenance of all appurtanances such as sluice valves, NRVS, scour valves and all equipment related to automation system. 5. Operation, repair and maintenance of all pumping machinery including cost of oil and greasing repairs, replacement of worn out /damaged parts. 6. Operation, repair and maintenance of gaseous chlorination system including the expenses associated with refilling of chlorine gas cylinders. 7. The contractor must repaint all civil structures, including pump houses, storage tanks, water treatment plants, steel truss bridges and suspension bridges etc. after a duration of two and a half years. All the premises and civil structures shall be maintained neat and clean free from all unwanted vegetation, shrubs, weeds. Proper arboriculture work shall be done at all WTPs and pump houses. 8. Deployment of suitable nos of meter reades cum bill distributors to take meter readings of all consumers ends, preparing the water bills and distrubuting the same to the consumers well in time monthly. 9. The expenses associated with acquiring suitable tools, equipments, skilled and unskilled labor, spare parts, lubricants,chemicals, bleaching agents, instruments, stationary and any other necessary materials for operation and maintenance, excluding energy costs must be considered and maintaing complaint Cell 24X7 with required number of expert complaint attendent. All operations will adhere to the latest CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment, HPPWD/JSV specifications, deparmental standars and directins issued by Engineer-In-Charge from time to time and sound engineering practice. The operation and maintenance of the entire system will be conducted over a period of five years.

Providing Data Entry Operators for entering data related to consumers bill in departmental portal for the online generation of water bills as per the norms of JSV and as per directions issued by Engineer-in-Charge from time to time.
