Taking out carefully existing defective deep well vertical turbine or Submersible pump set assembly of discharge capacity 10,000 to 30,000 gallons per hour from existing bore well including all column pipes and connected parts for repair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for assembling, installation, lifting /lowering of deep well vertical turbine or Submersible pump set assembly having discharge capacity 10,000 to 30,000 gallons per hour in existing bore well after carrying out necessary repair / replacement work including connecting column pipes, line shaft with guide spiders and rubber bushes etc duly installation, commissioning and connected with hollow shaft electric motor or submersible pump of any capacity including making all necessary adjustments and electric connections as required for satisfactory performance of the pump complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) All types of T&P and transportation etc to be arranged by the contractor for lifting and lowering of the Pump sets. (ii) All electrical connection of the motor shall be disconnected/reconnected very carefully. (iii) Contractor shall carryout the repair forthwith after getting the massage from AGE E/M /JE E/M either verbally or telephonically. A penalty of Rs 200.00 per day per pump shall be imposed to the contractor on account of wilfull delay on contractor's part in the opinion of the Engineer-in- Charge. (iv) Spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately at S&F rates.

M&L for disconnecting & dismantling of three phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz, 1460-1500 RPM electric motor of any make and model from pump of any type such as vertical turbine motor, non clogging vertical turbine sewage motor, centrifugal pump motor for water or sewage from installation, transporting the same to workshop, removing all burnt / worn out coils, cleaning of stator slots, insertion of insulating paper in the slots of appropriate size and rewinding with supper enamelled copper wire ISI marked with existing size, applying two coats of insulating varnish including all winding materials, transporting back the same and re-installation of motor at site in the same position, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed for the following capacities: -

M&L for cleaning of internal surfaces of RCC/Steel tank of 1,00,000 gallons capacity including removing deposited sand from the tank, scrubbing and washing the side walls and bottom with bleaching powder solution and making surface free from any fungus, deposites, stains using wire brush, filling/repairing of all cracks/cavaties inside the tank in cement mortar (1:2) and applying one coat of white wash on all internal surfaces including dome and writing date of cleaning, pupose of utility such as rising, washout, overflow with synthetic enamel paint of any tint complete all as directed by Engineer- in-charge

S&F in replacement, cast iron / mild steel connection box with cover for vertical hollow shaft induction motor of capacity 30 to 75 HP alongwith 6 mm thick fiber sheet and brass studs for incoming and outgoing connections complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & filling Pea Gravel size 3mm to 6 mm in the well including packing around the assembly, packing /filling around the casing pipe during development to make up cavity complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for developing existing tube well using air compressure of 400 PSI and not less than 900 CFM and over pumping to give yield to make sand free water and testing the yield for the first 40 hours by using air compressure including proper arrangement for back pressure at 4 stages of course sand/gravel/ medium sand all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- All types of T&P and transportation etc as required at site to complete the job to be arranged by the contractor and cost/hire charges etc shall be deemed included in the quoted rates.

M&L for complete overhauling, repair and recommissioning of existing filtration units of the filtration plant of swimming pool of copacity 22000 gallons per hour including supply and filling of 15 to 20% filter media of each stage to make up as well as replacement of unserviceable filter media complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The job also includes the following operations:- (a) Opening the manhole top cover of filtration dome, removal of existing exhausted filter media from the vessal, cleaning and scrubbing the internal surface of vessal to make the surface smooth, welding of damaged plates and painting two coates of water proof black bituminous paint on inner side of vessal complete all as specified and directed. (b) Repairing and cleaning under drain water distribution system in the bottom of the vessal cleaning and replacement of defective nozzles with new poly propylene nozzles complete all as specified and directed.

(c) Supply and filling 50% new filter media and remaining 50% re-filled after cleaning and washing the existing filter media in different layers of under mentioned sizes :- (i) Pebbles size 6mm to 12 mm in mass thickness 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. (ii) Gravels size 3mm to 6 mm in mass thickness 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. (iii) Coarse sand of size 1.2mm to 2.5mm in mass thickness 100 mm complete all as specified and directed. (iv) Sand of size 0.8mm to 1.2mm in mass thickness 990 mm complete all as specified and directed. (d) Closing the man hole with cover for smooth functioning of filter plant complete all as specified and as directed. (e) Painting external surfaces of entire filter, booster pumping set and connected pipes, pipe line insude the swimming pool building with one coat of synthetic enammalled paint complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for routine repairing/maint of vertical turbine motor pump, submersable pump motor, centrifugal pump motor of water supply installation and non clog centrifugal sewage pump of sewage installation of any capacity for day to day maintenance and making it serviceable in all respects including replacement of necessary gland packing, nut bolt, greasing and minor leckage in pipe etc complete as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (a) Contractor/ represetative will report to Engineer-in-Charge/JE E/M (W/S) daily in forenoon and afternoon to collect routine/urgent work related to water supply till completion of contract. The work shall be attended by the contractor immediately. The controctor will ensure availability of manpower equipped with all sort of petty items such as gland packing, nut bolt, grease etc required to accomplish the job. The controctor will also ensure as availability of every type of requisite T& P and Mobile phone to his trade man. All routine/urgent jobs received on job slip to be deposited to JE E/M after completion of the job within 24 hrs. In case of any delay in attending the work more then 24 hrs after handing over of routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penality @ Rs 750 per job per day.
