Jungle clearance including cutting down trees not exceeding 30cm girth measured at 1 meter above ground level and clearing away shrubs brushwood undergrowth and grubbing up roots as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Rough excavation in soil/soil mixed with small boulders using mechanical means and getting out and stacking of serviceable material and disposing of surplus excavated material by any means at dumping location identified by Engr in Charge or to used for item S/No. 3 below to required lines, grades and cross sections all as specified

Rough excavation in soft rock requiring blasting and getting out including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of excavated material by any means to dumping location identified by Engr in Charge or to used for item S/No. 3 below to required lines, grades and cross sections all as specified

Rough Excavation in hard rock by drilling with compressor, blasting and getting out including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of excavated material by any means to dumping location identified by Engr in Charge or to used for item S/No. 2 and 3 below to required lines, grades and cross sections all as specified

Earthwork in embankment by filling with earth free from roots etc (out of quantity retrieved at s/No. 01 above). spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm including watering and compaction by mechanical means to achieve desired density and finishing to required slope & level not exceeding 1.5 m high above the base in ordinary soil in hill roads where cut & fill method is adopted.(out of quantity retrieved at Sl No. 2 above)

Surfacing Works

Preparation of sub-grade in SMB by excavating upto 20 cm avg depth, dressing excavated earth to required camber or super elevation and consolidating with power roller incl watering & disposal of surplus material by any mean to dumping location or as directed by engineer in charge

Preparation of sub-grade in SR by excavating upto 20 cm avg depth, filling with small stone metal out of excavated material, dressing to required camber or super elevation and consolidating with power roller incl disposal of surplus material by any mean to dumping location or as directed by Engr in Charge.

Preparation of sub-grade in HR by excavating upto 20 cm avg depth, filling with small stone metal out of excavated material, dressing to required camber or super elevation and consolidating with power roller incl disposal of surplus material by any mean to dumping location or as directed by Engr in Charge.

GSB 15 cm thick (compacted ) with stone aggregate conforming to grading No 1 as per Tables-400-1 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works including supply of material, watering and compaction all complete all as specified in Special conditions and Particular Specifications.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate grading as per Table-400-13 and satisfying the physical reqmt as per Table No. 400-12 of MORT&H specifications for WMM specifications to a thickness of 100 mm, including premixing the material with water to OMC in mechanical mix (Pug Mill) laying in uniform layers in sub base/base course on a well prepared base and compacting with power vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including guarding.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate grading as per Table-400-13 and satisfying the physical reqmt as per Table No. 400-12 of MORT&H specifications for WMM specifications to a thickness of 75 mm, including premixing the material with water to OMC in mechanical mix (Pug Mill) laying in uniform layers in sub base/base course on a well prepared base and compacting with power vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including guarding.

Providing and laying 50 mm thick DBM layer, precoated stone aggregate physical requirements/grading/mix composition requirement as per Table - 500-8/9/10 respectively of MORT&H specifications for road and bridge works with 4.250% asphalt VG-10 penetration grade as per MoSRT&H data book and rolled to the required specification.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick BC on bituminous concrete layer with precoated stone chips grading confirming to Table:500-17 and mix satisfying the physical requirementt of table 500-16 of MORT&H specifications, mixed with 5% binder asphalt VG-10 penetration grade by weight of total mix and 2% cement by weight of mix ( for filler) all as specified as per MoSRT&H data book.

Providing and applying Prime Coat with bitumen emulsion complying with IS 8887 on prepared granular surface including clearing of road surface & spraying primer using mechanical means conforming to clause No.502 of MORT&H Specification for Road & Bridge Works (5th Revision)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor on prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom, all complete as per clause 503 of MORT&H Specification for Road & Bridge Works (5th Revision)

Provisioning and Providing road marking with thermoplastic paint (2.5 mm thick) conforming to MOST: 803.4 including preparation of surface and application.
