OD1191/2022-2023:Supply and providing the following duty staff,having qualifications as mentioned at site for the operation of the existing Substation consisting of 2 Nos. 1000 KVA Transformers, 2 Nos. 750 KVA DG set, HT /LT control Panels and other Electrical installation provided in the Super-speciality Block of Medical college Thiruvananthapuram under the control of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) PWD ,Medical College Section and operating the system as per his direction. The Sub-Station should be operated daily engaging staffs arranged in 3 shifts. The staff requirement in each shift is as follows: 1) Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering certificate to be recognized by Board of Technical Examination Kerala with minimum of 2 years experience. – 1 No. 2) ITI/ITC certificate holder in Electrical/Wireman trade to be recognized by NCVT with minimum of 2 years experience. – 2 Nos. 3) 10th Pass (SSLC or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Electrification. - 4 No. ( 3 nos 8 hours shift duty and one day duty in General Shift). The electrical installation shall be operated as detailed in the mode of operation attached separately. The certificates of the operating staff should be produced before the Executive Engineer at time of agreement. The attendance certificates of the staff shall be maintained strictly by the Assistant Engineer concerned . The safety precautions for the operators / staff shall be maintained by the contractor itself and timely verified and report to the Assistant Engineer. Necessary laison work regarding the operating staff in connection with the guidelines of labour department and government and handover to Assistant Engineer from time to time.
