Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5M wide and not exceeding 1.5M in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying of under ground cable and foundation of poles complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl.item No 1 above but depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.00m complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated soil not exc 50 m and depositing where as directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above from starting point. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dry river sand cushioning for under ground cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top ebdge of cable after laying and punning up to 18 cm depth complete all as specified and directed. Note ;- For payment purpose the punned down thickness of 18 cm only shall be considered.

Supply and lay un-reinforced factory made, Precast concrete cable covers, class HVP, type 1, with peak, of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for earthing in repairs complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32X6mm by means of bolts nuts check-nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I connecting to earthing test point and testing on completion with including 40mm bore, light grade, GI protection pipe, RCC 1:2:4, type B1, 20mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dia. dia TMT bars 3 Nos both ways with lifting hook made out of 10mm dia TMT bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, earthing lead from earth plate to eqipment to point (up to 7.5M long) common salt and charcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed.

S&F G.I Strip of size 32 x 6 mm as in earthing lead with all hardwares required at different locations complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling air break, gang operated switch, vertical/horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism for repair/replacement of broken/worn out components and insulators etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, test and commissioning of Air-break, gang operated, Triple Pole Switch, outdoor, vertical mounting type (ISI marked), mechanically operated, mounted on insulators 12 nos including 400 Amps rating complete with (DO Fuse unit) fuse mounts, fuse carriers and HT fuse elements and frame work with operating mechanism worked from ground level, with locking arrnagments including Godrej pattern 65mm pad locks with two keys, complete suitable for HT 11 KV, 50 Hz AC supply including necessary electric connections, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing damaged/unserviceable/faulty PVC insulated, armoured, aluminium conductor, 11000V grade cable of any size and core from trenches, pipe, ducts, pole etc. testing for serviceability of cable, cutting and segregating serviceable portion for relaying of serviceable cable complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid separately.

Supply, lay, connect test & commissionig XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11 KV grade, earthed, laid in trenches/ ducts/ encased in GI pipe/fixed to pole including jointing and testing, of size 95 Sqmm, 3 Core complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, lay, connect, test & commissioning XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11 KV grade, earthed, laid in trenches/ ducts/ encased in GI pipe/fixed to pole including jointing and testing, of size 120 Sqmm, 3 Core complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying only serviceable11 KV XLPE insulated, armoured cable obtained from item No 11 above complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item no's 11 to 14 : Excavation and earth work sand cushioning & cable protection shall be measured & paid seperately under relevant item.

Dismantling PCC/Steel tubular poles of any size & any height including PCC coping, foundation etc and taking down serviceable insulators from poles for reuse and shifting of poles to E/M Yard or any other location complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plate, bolts, nuts and screws, as specified for type 410 SP-55, 11 Mtrs long complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work PCC in foundation & coping shall be measured & paid seperately under relevant item.

M&L for PCC, type B1, 1:2:4 mix (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in coping to the poles including weathering,slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating and necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 mix, type C2( using (40 mm graded stone aggregates) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for boring of holes under road/pavement/hard standing or any other situation by manual/mechanical means for 100mmm bore for crossing the cable and making good both the ends complete all as specified and directed. Note : GI pipe shall be measure and paid seperately under respective item.

S&F in repair galvanized iron pipe of 100 mm bore, Light grade with all fittings for cable protection for road crossing/ culvert/ path/ on wall/ floor/ pole or laid in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting the external exposed surfaces of steel tubular swaged/rail poles of 11 metres long alongwith cross arms, brackets and connected accessories with one coat of aluminium paint including preparation of old painted surfaces and writing the details of the pole in white letters on black background and pasting radium red strickers/paint with 3 lines around the pole complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cleaning the area around sub station including surroundings of two/four pole structures & trimming the trees complete all as specified and as directed.

Looping/Prunning of tree branches to obtain clearance all around the OH Lines conductor upto 3 mtr from furthest conductor on pole including removing of cut branches and cleaning of site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) The tree branches etc willl be left as it as and will not be carried away by the contractor as wood belongs to CEO/DEO and they will be responsible to lift the wood.However the same shall be stacked properly to avoid any inconvience to traffic etc. (b) Prunning of all tree branches of one tree shall be measured as one Job. (c) Contractor shall employ sufficient labour to complete the job within time as required. (d) Contractor shall be responsible for any type of mishappeing/accident while prunning of the trees. (e) Contractor's supervisor will take proper shut down from the MES installations before starting the work and clear it before resuming power supply. However full assistance will be provided by MES Staff. (f) The contractor will provide proper tools and safety devices to his staff for carrying out prunning of trees

M&L for hiring of cable fault locator machine for HT cables, working voltage 11 KV to find out the fault in underground trench at different locations, locate fault, charging the cable, jointing & testing the cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured & paid sepertely under relevant items (ii) If the complaint is not attended by the contractor within one hour after reporting the contractor shall be liable for penalty @ the rate of Rs 1000 per complaint per hour.

S&F in repairs cable end termination, 11 KV, HT (heat shrinkable) cable jointing kit for 11 KV ( Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 Core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 Sq mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S& F in repairs HT cable route indicators made out of 100 mm dia, 3 mm thick cast iron plate, painted with brown colour and fixed on MS angle iron of size 25 x25x 3 mm, 60 cm length along HT cable trench including embedding in ground with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enamelled white of size 20 x25 cm with figures letters and conventional skull bones in signal red colour and fixed with mild steel clamps made of flat iron nuts bolts and washers etc for HT poles with voltage and danger indicated in hindi and english and local vernacular complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for MS cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc complete and setting aside for re-use within 50 m complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F aluminium conductor,steel reinforced including stringing in position complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling ACSR conductor from the poles complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Pin type , porcelain, vitreous, white , brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle , two galvanised mild steel spindle, two galnvanised iron wahers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height,150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Loop type insulator with complete fitting porcelain, vitreous white or brown large size with over all dismensions 90x140mm , clearance of hole 25.5mm complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs galvanised steel wire , cradle guards, hexagonal/rectangular fabricated of galvanised steel wire 3.15mm or 4 mm dia including binding wire aluminium cradle guard complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 for diameter of stay rod in 20 mm including loop type insulators,stay clamps,concrete & necessary excavation & earthwork complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling stay assembly complete from the pole complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs galvanised iron steel, stranded stay wire of any size for stay assembly complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for anti climbing devices, spike type, fabricated out of MS bars (round square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves, made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole for HT poles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for servicing and greasing GOD (gang operated air break switch) 200 Amps, triple pole, 11 KV including replacement of the following unserviceable parts:- (a) ACSR Jumper, with RYB , PVC sleeves 1.5M to 2.0m long-03 Nos (b) Brass connector brackets with bolts nuts etc-3 Sets (c) Copper lugs of suitable size.

M & L for earthing complete, chemical type with copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cmx5mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3 mtr deep 1.5 mtr width ) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level connected and including copper strip earth lead 32mm x 6 mm size by means of copper brazing strip and layers of salt charcol and magnesium sulphate including funnel with wire mesh including testing of earthing complete all as specified and directed . (Minimum three chemical pits are to be made and connected in a grid to meet the earth resistance specifications of <0.50 Ohm) (a) Earthing to be done in presence of JE/Engr- in - Charge .(b) Charcoal small pieces 250 Kg , Salt (crystal)-250 Kg , Magnesium Sulphate ( Crystal) 100 Kg. (c) Copper strip shall be brazed with copper elctrode plate .(d) Alternate layer of charcoal and salt should be laid in the earth pit on the top of the copper plate at least 5 layers should be laid. (e) After laying of the 5 alternate layers of charcoal and salt a two inch layer of magnesium sulphate to be laid. (f) The chemical salt and and magnesium sulphate should not be fixed but are to be laid in layers only. (g) Copper strip is to be extended inside the equipment and power room. It should be routed in the side wall of the under ground ducts fixed with ceramic /porcelain spacers. (h) Contractor shall pour sufficient water in earth pit before and after doing earthing. (j) 25 mm dia GI pipe light grade of suitable length to reach just above copper plate fitted with funnel meshed along with cap running with water tap to be provided for keeping soil wet. (k) Soft soil ( Black cotton soil) shall be used in case of rocky terrain. (i) Brass nuts and bolts with proper washer to be used for copper strip jointing and necessary brazing shall be done as directed. (m) Copper strip beyond 7.5 m shall be measured and paid seperately. (n) The test point of each pit shall be made as directed and the cost is same to be included in the qouted rate. (o) The test report should be submitted in triplicate. ( p) Construction of earth pit chamber with PCC (1.3.6) type C1 ( using 20mm gradeed stone aggregates) RCC 1.2.4 type B1 cover 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm centre to centre with igting handles of suitable dia complete all as directed . Note: Earth resistance shall be less than 1.00 Ohms.

M&L for glow sign board LED of size (600 x 90 x 30 cm) made out of iron angle frame with MS sheet of suitable size with flex sheet marked with details of sub station (11KV TOP) on front and rear with different colours including provision of LED power-fittings & fixtures in equal distance to illuminate board including connections with 2.5 Sqmm stranded copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for glow sign board LED size (180 x 80 x 30 cm) made out of iron angle frame with MS sheet of suitable size with flex sheet marked with details of sub station on front and rear with different colours including provision of LED power-fittings & fixtures in equal distance to illuminate board including connections with 2.5 Sqmm stranded copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonary platform for mounting transformer of 200 KVA to 400 KVA capacity, overall finished size 3mx3mx1.25 mtr high above ground level with sub class 'B' brick masonry walls 230 mm thick built in in CM (1:4), PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm stone agregates) on top of the platform finished even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary form work, excavation in soft/loose soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and plastering 10mm in CM 1:6 on all exposed vertical surfaces of platform with MS angle iron frame 50x50x6mm as in post at an intervel 1.2 mtr centre to centre and 2.25 mtr height duly grouted in PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40mm stone aggregates) alongwith 3 Nos steps including shifting of transformer of any capacity & from the location as directed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement MS chequrred Plate cover 10 mm thickness Fe-410 W (Gde E-250) quality-B for cable duct including painting with 2 coats of synethic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Attending emergency complaints owing to breakdown of 11KV outdoor sub station /HT lines by checking the entire system, detecting and rectification of fault and restoration of electric supply of 11 KV for further distrbution complete all as specified and directed. Note (a) Complaints pertaining to External Electric Supply shall be resolved by the contractor immeditely after getting complaints. In case of failure on the part of contractor to resolve to the complaints within stipulated time a penalty of Rs 1000/- per day per complaint shall be imposed from the contractor. (b) Material required shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of work. (c) The contractor or his authorised rep shall report to the concerned JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily on all working days to receive order/instruction of the work. A register shall be maintained to record all orders & instructions and their complaints and shall be signed by the contractor/his rep and the EIC/JE E/M concerned. (d) Work done register to be maintained by the contractor.
