M&L for surface dressing n exc 15cm deep for adjoining area complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, laid dry including removing of materials off the site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for continuous brick edging with burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' old size with width equal to the width of the brick laid dry on end vertically complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, providing evenly a priming / tack coat with catonic bitumen (rs-1/-) @ 3.5Kg/per 10sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs to potholes of any depth n. exc 3.5 sqm each including sweeping free from dust & mud etc, scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc, cutting around edge to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and applying tack coat with cationic emulsion (Rs 1) @3.5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in 40mm thick SDAC rolled and compacted with 8-12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note : SDAC will be provided measured and paid under under item 12.00 here-in-after.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tone power roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design and on minus side it will be recovered @ Rs. 50.00/kg of bitumen irrespective of any purchase price. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly. (ii) Before carrying out bituminous macadam initial level final level both shall be taken and accordingly level sheet and level register shall be prepared. Level sheet shall be signed by the Engineer-in-Charge and contractor which shall be produced during technical check of RAR / Final Bill.

M&L for preparing of existing black top surface of and bituminous surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or by air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and priming / tack coat with catonic bitumen (Rs 1.00) @ 2.5kg/per 10sqm over black top surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 10 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clauses of SSR Part-I (2009) and as directed. Note : (a) The actual binder contain used shall be as per optimised content based on approved Job mix formula irrespective of whatever indicated above. (b) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi dense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (c) Price adjustment shall be done on minus side (without permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated above and actually to be used in the work. (d) Price adjustment for paving bitumen shall be done @ Rs. 50.00 per KG for any variation on minus side irrespective of actual purchase rate. However, no adjustment for variation on plus side will be made.

M&L for 2.5mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters, zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5Kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms / sqm over painted surfaces while the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicator)

S&F in repair for Bi-directional Abrasion resistant raised pavement markers made out of micro prismatic tough polycarbonate lense of approved colour, Engineered thermoplastic body and fixed on the road with epoxy including making good the disturbed portion of the road complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L cutting out crack to v-section in existing roof of terrace cleaning out wetting grouting with cement sand slurry 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down tarfelt with cement plaster from roof surfaces and lowring and removing the same to a distance exc. 50m and n.exc 100m incl roughening of old concrete surface of roof complete all as specified and as directed.
