| 1 | Conducting Final Location Survey for Construction of ROBs as per relevant para of IR Engineering Code (1993) edition and submission of report. Note: The Rate should include the following sub works and the percetage payment are as under: (i) Conducting detailed survey for taking longitudinal and transverse section taking detail of waterways, electrical and telephone crossing road details etc. along the route and plotting the alignment on village map, village map to be arranged by contractor. (ii) Pegging out of alignment at every 20m interval on straight and 10m interval on curves including setting out of curves with transition etc. working out detail quantities of all items of earthwork, Concrete, steel, bituminous Road items and submission of document as per relevant Paras of Engineering Code with schematic diagram. (iii) Planting of concrete pillars of size 15cmx15cmx60cm of 1:2:4 cement concrete proportion at every 50m interval at Center Line andedge of ROW of ROB corridor (with contractor's materials labour tools and plants including taxes and royalties). (iv) Submission of detailed project report in 5(five) copies and soft copy on Pen drive. (v) Transferring the finalized alignment on ground using total station or any other survey instrument as approved by Engineer-in-charge.(vi) Preparation of Land Plans along the proposed alignment for identification & measurement of adjoining properties required for superimposition of revenue record. It also includes collection of revenue maps. (vii) Schedule of land property required for (Railway portion+ approaches) for acquisition purpose will be prepared by the Contractor as per format advised by Railway. (viii) Preparation of land acquisition proposal (20A) in five copies as per Revenue Department's requirement of respective State including Collection of Land Records including superimposition of revenue record on proposed alignment & calculation of land requirement. (ix) Preparation of 20E proposal for publication after JMS with state Govt officials. (x) Preparation of Form 11 for 20F with consultation of respective State Govt Officials. | 2 | Preparation of Concept Plan with different options of ROB with respect to location of ROB alignment of road, ease of construction of spans and public convenience (Unit to be read as each ROB). Note: The Rate should include the following items. (i) For each ROB 3 to 5 alternative concept plans shall be prepared on AutoCAD and superimposed on Google Map in KMZ file. (ii) A write up regarding positive and negative aspects (advantages & disadvantages) of each option ranking them in the order of preference. (iii) Estimated cost of ROB, including cost of land & utility shifting is to be given for each option. (iv) Each option shall be submitted in A3 Sheet in Colour in 05 copies. (v) A Pen Drive Containing all option in KMZ file shall also be submitted. (vi) Modifications as suggested by Railway and stakeholders is to be incorporated and re-submitted. | 3 | Conducting Geotechnical Investigation as per Scope of work, Special Conditions of Contract and relevant IS codes for a depth of 40m complete in all respect (Unit to be read as each bore hole). The work shall include: - (i) Geotechnical investigation report covering full ROB (Viaduct portion and both Approaches). (ii) Submission of results of tests in a proper tabular form as per relevant IS codes along with detailed Report in six copies. (iii) For open foundation, net allowable bearing capacity, for pile foundations, safe design load carrying capacity and safe uplift capacity of pile foundation. (iv) Report of suitability of type of foundation will be submitted by the Contractor with Justification for adoption of pile foundation will be part of Geotechnical report. Note: 1) If borehole is terminated in less than 40m depth in soil with the approval of Engineer in Charge, Payment will be made pro-rata basis. 2) Wherever hard rock is encountered depth of borehole shall be restricted 5m in hard rock. | 4 | Preparation of GAD, Detailed design for foundation, substructure of viaduct span of ROB and approach spans, Design of Reinforced Earth, Retaining Wall etc. as provided in Scope of Work as per relevant IR, BIS, IRC and other codes for the option of ROB alignment/span selected by Employer (Unit to be read as each ROB): This item includes: (i) Integrated Key Plan of entire ROB alignment covering railway portion, takeoff and landing approaches, arrangements of ROB approaches with NHAI/other roads department will be developed and included in GAD as per the Technical Requirement mentioned in the SCC. (ii) Preparation of GADs as per check list of Northern Railway and codal provision. (iii) Preparation of preliminary and detailed design of foundation substructure, Superstructure, including staircase, approach slab (wherever applicable) & Good for construction drawings (GFC Drawings) and all other drawing as required for construction of Railway portion of the ROB and both approaches. (iv) Submission of proof checked detailed design and Good for Construction Drawings (Railway Drawings) for Foundation, Substructure, Super-Structure (if non-RDSO span is adopted), Reinforced Earth Wall and Retaining Wall. The detail design of superstructure will be further governed as per SCC. (v) Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ), Detailed Estimate, technical specifications and tender documents as per preliminary designs and drawings. (vi) Checking of design/drawings submitted by contractor(s) for bearings, launching schemes, Temporary Arrangement Drawings etc., if required. (vii) Technical support for getting approval from Railway/CRS including approval of temporary staging and launching schemes, if required. (viii) Designer support during construction of ROB including site visit as per requirement of Railway. This will include modification of design/drawings as and when required. (ix) Out station visits with stakeholders will be attended by agency on specific advice of Railway and nothing extra will be paid for visits for such meetings during currency of contract. | 5 | Ground Penetration Radar Survey (GPRS): GPR Survey for construction of ROB/RUB/FOB/Light ROB at different locations to locate and identify all existing underground utilities/buried objects including boulders, pipelines, sewers, conduits, cables, drains, manholes, appurtenances etc. in the proposed corridor along with location, depth and dimensional details of utilities. Report and drawings incorporating all collected data shall be submitted as per scope of work and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Scale of drawing shall be Planimetry (X Axis 1:1000, Y Axis 1:100), Longitudinal Section (Z Axis 1:100) and Transverse Section at critical location. | 8 | Preparation of the General Arrangement Drawings (GADS) for RUBs proposed to be constructed in the jurisdiction of CAO/C/RSP, Northern Railway. The GADs shall be prepared in AutoCAD as per Northern Railway HQ check list/ standards/formats based on finalized L - section and alignment of the proposed Road Under Bridge on good quality tracing paper and submitting the same to Railway administration for approval and carrying out the corrections as instructed by railway with all consultants own men, material, tools & plants, Computer systems etc., as directed by Engineer in charge. Notes: 1) RUB GAD should incorporate (a) RCC Box details, X-section of spans carrying railway tracks including details of service roads and side drains.
