Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc including taking out cable cover or stone slab, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding3.0 m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc including taking out cable cover or stone slab, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing ewcavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to under ground cable with a layer of sand 8 cm before laying the cable and 15cm after laying the cable (10 cm punned thickness above the top of the upper most cable, total 18 cm), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L old size brick class "B" as in cable protection laid dry,flat,transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning with width equalto length of the brick complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm thick crushed stone aggregate) for pedestal including necessary formwork and fair finishing to exposed surface without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates for foundation of poles / struts / stays etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolt, nut and screws as specified 410 SP-55 (9 mter long) including taking down old damaged pole of any type and size, including one coat of red-oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats aluminium paint on surfaces, exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (Total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paint alternately on external surface, above PCC benching including with writing of pole No with letters/figures of size not exc 30 mm with black paint on a yellow circle of dia 75 mm after painting complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for prepration of old concrete surface of HT poles, 11 metres high including PCC coping, removing old paint particles and apply two coats of cement base paint on the surface of pole and PCC coping, applying two coat of aluminium paint on cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket clamp etc and marking black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide, alternatively upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete, all as specified and directed. Note. (i) The quoted rate shall include marking of numbers on each HT pole as per direction of Engr in-Charge. (ii) The quoted rates includes the cost of repairing of coping in cement mortar 1:3 finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement.

Trimming of tree branches from LT overhead line to branch 2 mtr up to both side & re-stretching of ACSR conductor and earth wire of any size and type on LT poles including disconnecting and rebinding with insulators with suitable size of binding wire after restretching, connecting jumpers, adjusting line deviders and disposal tree branches as per direction by Engr-in-Charge complete including removing and refixing of UG cable /service wires to the ACSR conductor complete. (Note- Pole to pole length shall be measured and paid as one run)

S&F 50mm bore galvanised iron, light grade (ISI marked) laid in trenches / fixed on wall / poles etc for protection of cable,,including taking out old tubing complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 40mm bore galvanised iron, light grade (ISI marked) laid in trenches / fixed on wall / poles etc for protection of cable,,including taking out old tubing complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting and removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants / bushes etc clamping up towards the poles and stays etc including cleaning bottom surface area of pole & stay not less than 1m x 1m by surface dressing of earth outside and inside sub stations, perimeter fencing around pump house area, and in drains surrounding area from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreding graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm size around two pole/ four pole structure in 15 cm thickness after cleaning area by removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants/bushes etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting, taking down and stacking the unserviceable /broken earth wire /strip of any size from the roof or from wall and removing the same from the site complete all as directed.

S&F air termination vertical type, single pointed made with 12mm dia 300mm long aluminium rod including necessary fixing arrangements with aluminium bolts, nuts, lead wasters etc. complete and incl provisin of GI tubing light grade 40mm dia, 300mm long embedded in PCC block (size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm) one end and other end fitted with air termination rod all as specified and directed.

S&F horizontal/down conductors aluminium strip of size 25mm x 3.15mm and including epoxy insulator bus bar type 40mm thick at an interwal of 60cm apart for lightening protection on roof and for down conductors, including all fixing arrangement sand aluminiun nut, bolt & washers complete all as per IS-2309-1989 and testing all as specified. Note:- Aluminium strip shall be jointed with rivets minimum 4 Nos.

Test point terminal block madeout and gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw for fixing the same on wall as as directed at site.

S&F galvanised from strip of size 32mmx 6mm from earth pit to test point provided all around the bldg for lightening protection laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting up complete all as directed..

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connecting to GI earth wire of size 4mm size by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and protected by provision of GI medium grade pipe of 15mm bore including provision of 40mm tk cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM (wt no less than 4Kg/sqm) and frame of angle iron 40mmx40mmx6mm with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI light grade 20mm dia pipe for watering of suitable length placed on tp edge of earth plate, common salt and charcoal filling, with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as per plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge and including testing on completion.

Note:-(i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick reinforcement with 8mm TOR steel @ 100 c/c in lieu of CI cover and the rate includes in the unit rate of item. (ii) Earth electrode shall be protected upto test point using necessary arrangement with suitable size GI pipe up to 7.50m and the rate includes in the unit rate of item. (iii) Earth pit chamber and RCC cover shall be painted with red paint over a primer coat and the rate includese in the unit rate of item. (iv) The earth chamber shall be constructed 5m away from the edge of the bldg pit and the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the rate for this item.

M&L , monthly Inspection, maintenance and serviceing of DG sets of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a) 62.5 KVA Capacity, Make: Cummins, - 01 No (b) 40 KVA Capacity, Make: Cummins-01 No (i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note (i) Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. (iii) Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iv) Checking of air filter element (v) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (vi) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vii) Cleaning of air cleaner element (viii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (ix) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (x) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (xi) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring. M&L required for Inspection, maintenance and servicing of DG Sets of following Capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (B - Check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance complete all as directed and specified. Servicing and repair self starter 12 V for DG set incl replacement of parts such as corban brushes, solonaid, rotor,washer, nut, bolts etc assembling the same and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling the radiator and fan from the engine for cleaning of copper /aluminium tubes and cooling fins by using descaling solution (MAC solution) and soldering, patch work if required including repair of water pump assembly and replacement of defective parts of water pump and re-assembliying,testing complete 62.5 /40 KVA DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note : Fan blade shall be measured seprately as supply only.

Supply & fix in replacement of unserviceable battery 12 V, 180 AH with maintenance free battery 12 volt initially charged. Make :- EXIDE / AMRON / LUMINOUS

Supply only Battary charger in AMF panel of approved make.

Supply only battery terminal heavy duty of brass with nuts and bolts of approved make.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead strip 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as directed.

Note:-(i) The concrete pit shall be of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m GI for protection of earth strip. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
