M & L GI Metal Ceiling Lay in perforated Regular edge global white color tiles of size 595 x 595 mm anfd 0.5 mm thick with 8 mm drop; made of GI sheet having galvanizing of 100 gms/sqm (both sides inclusive) and 20 % perforation area with 1.8 mm dia holes and having NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) of 0.5, elctro statically polyester powder coated of thickness 60 microns(minimum), including factory painted after bending and perforation, and backed with a black glass fibre acoustical fleece of size 595 x 595 mm in true horizontal, suspended on interlocking metal grid of hot dipped galvanised steel sections ( galvanised @ 120 gm/sqm, both sides inclusive) consisting of main " T " runner with suitabily spaced joints to get required length & of size 24 x 38 mm made from 0.30 mm thick ( minimum) sheet, spaced @ 1200 mm center to center and cross " T " of size 24 x 25 mm madeof 0.3 mm thick (minimum) sheet , 1200 mm long spaced between main "T" @ 600 mm center to center to form a grid of 1200 x 600 mm and secondary cross " T" of length 600 mm and size 24 x 25 mm made of 0.30 mm thick (minimum) sheet to be interlocked at middle of the 1200 x 600 mm pannel to form grids of 600 x 600mm and wall angle of size 24 x 24 x0.3 mm and laying false ceiling tiles of approved texture in the grid including, required cutting / making, opening for services like defuser, grils, light fittings , fixtures, smoke detectors etc. main "T" runners to be suspended from ceiling using GI slotted cleats of size 27 x 37x 35 x 1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 12.5 mm dia and 50 mm long dash fastners, 4 mm GI adjustables rods with galavanised butterfly level clips of size 85 x 30 x0.8 mm spaced @ 1200 mm center to center along main "T" , bottom exposed width of 24 mm of all T- sections shall be prepainted with polyester paint, all complete for all height as per specifications , drawings complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-incharge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600mM x 600mM x 6mm thick burried directly in ground (EARTH PIT) vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, filling in alternate layer and electrode connections by using galvanized iron earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanized iron or steel and protected by light grade 15 mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board, and GI pipe light grade 20 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1: 2: 4 type C2 , including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr all as specified and as shown on Plate No 3 of SSR Part I (2010)incl dismanteling of exsisting unserviceable erth pit all as specified and directed and testing on completion. Note: (i) If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. (ii) Excavation and eath work in any type of soil strata shall be deemed to be included in rates quoted for earthing.
