POTABLE WATER SUPPLY AT VARIOUS LOCATION UNDER DHQ 3 NEW MANGALORE UNDER AGE B/R NEW MANGALORE OF GE(I)(CG) GOA

Supply and fill potable water into the existing sump at CGRA Kunjathbail, DHQ-3 Panambur and OTM, OTM ACCN Bajpe on required basis through water bowser complete all as specified and directed. [Note: Water test certificate from Manufacturer from where water collected shall be submitted]

Supply and fill potable water into the existing over head tank at CGRA Kankanady through water bowser on required basis by using lifting pump complete all as specified and directed. [Note: Manufacturer's water test certificate from where water collected shall be submitted]

Testing of water as per Table 1 & Table 6 Organoleptic and Physical Parameters and bacteriological characteristics of IS-10500-2012 and in a Govt approved laboratory and submit test report to prove the quality of water on weekly basis during frequent supply period or as and when asked by Engg-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed.

Testing of water for all parameters as per IS:10500-2012 in a Govt approved laboratory complete all as specified and directed. Water to be tested as per Table 1 to table 6 of IS 10500-2012 for general parameters, concerning substances undesirable in excessive amount, parameters concerning toxic substances, parameters concerning radio active substances, pesticides residues limits and test method and bacteriological quality of drinking water as per IS 10500-2012 in Govt approved NABL laboratory complete all as specified and directed. Sample of water shall be taken jointly by the representative of Engineer in Charge and the contractor from the approved source of supply. [Note: The contractor shall be responsible for providing the necessary chemical and bacteriological test certificate from an approved Govt Lab before commencing the supply of water] Note:(For Item 1.00 to 4.00) (a) Contractor shall supply water in hygienically neat and clean water bowser free from dust, dirt and scales. (b) Water bowser to be used for carrying potable water shall be painted with EPI coating internally. (c) The sources of water to be supplied shall be intimated well in advance for Inspection of Engineer-in-charge. (d) The sample of water from the source shall be fwd to Govt agency before supplying the water for potability testing. Rate quoted for initial testing will to be paid under BOQ Item 4.00. The contractor shall be responsible for providing the necessary chemical and bacteriological test certificate from an approved Govt Lab before commencing the supply of water. (e) The contractor has to visit the site before quoting tender.
