(a)Surface preparation, Sand blasting to S.A 2.5 standard including the cost of material (Hull of repairing vessels), air compressor will be hired by KSINC.

(b)Surface preparation, Sand blasting to S.A 2.5 standard including the cost of material for new M.S plates/ angles, air compressor will be hired by KSINC.

Removing the thickly formed oyster coating and other vegetation growth from the underwater portion of the vessel including cleaning the vessel complete as per the instruction of the Corpn. Officers.

2. Applying putty for enabling spray painting.

(a)Supplying and welding (using IS 6013/ IS 7018 marine quality welding rod) with new various thickness plate of IS 2062 GR B quality for beam/ gazette and other plate work of original size and shape to the various portions of the vessel after heating and bending to shape, V cut on the matting edge of the plate and three layer welding on both sides together. The rate including the welding charges, tools, plants, scaffolding other incidental expenses etc complete as per the direction of KSINC officers. (Entire quantity of welding rod supply should be get inspected and designated by KSINC.

(b)Supplying and welding (using IS 6013/ IS 7018 marine quality welding rod) with new various size of MS round bar, angles, flats and shape to the various portion on the vessel (already removed from the damaged portion of the vessel) after heating and bending to shape, V cut on the matting edge of the plate and three layer welding on both sides together. The rate including the welding charges, tools, plants, scaffolding other incidental expenses etc complete as per the direction of KSINC officers.

(c)Supplying and welding (using IS 6013/ IS 7018 marine quality welding rod) with various size of M.S items and fabrication of skylight, Air cowl, doors, and other out fittings. The rate including the welding charges, tools, plants, scaffolding other incidental expenses etc complete as per the direction of KSINC officers.

Welding Zinc anodes on the underwater portion of the hull after removing old brackets.

(i)Removing the old rubber fender after cleat cutting and refitting new rubber fender with new cleats at regular intervals as per the direction of KSINC Officers. Fenders will be supplied by KSINC.

(ii)Removal and refitting of wooden / rubber fenders for carrying out steel fabrication.

Fitting split pipe fender with new pipe 6” or 8” with brackets spaced at 300 mm at straight portion and 500 mm maximum at curved areas.

Cutting and removing corroded and damaged pipe of following sizes with or without flanges from sea water / fresh water lines in different parts of the vessel without damaging remaining parts. Fabricating and welding using best quality B class GI pipe, bend etc, in place of removed portion in same shape with or without flanges and coupling the pipes using new bolts and nuts, joints etc direction of dept officers.

Loading of main engine to the vessel, erecting and aligning. (Rate to be quoted including all the modifications / steel fabrication works which may occur to align the gear box with the main engine. The replaced engine to be shifted to the yard covered area.)

New Hydraulic steering remote control fitting, testing and commissioning.

Semi rotary pump fixing with pipes and flanges.

Opening up of the man hole cover of diesel service tank/lube oil storage tank and making gas free after drain out existing diesel oil / lubrication oil to be barrel cleaning the tank and refill diesel oil lube oil from barrels to the tank and close the man hole cover using new bolt and nut, joint etc, as per the direction of Corpn. officers

Opening up the manhole cover of freshwater storage tank of various capacities. Removing the sediments in the tank and cleaning the complete surface of the tank. Washing (coating) the inside of the tank using white cement refit the man hole cover using new bolt and nut, joints etc as per the direction of dept officers.

Making and supplying and providing by welding tyre fender, tying hook, along with ring using 20mm dia M.S rod as per the direction and satisfaction of dept officers.

Removing the glasses of the windows in the wheel house / accommodation, buffing the glass surface, replacing damaged rubber beadings, locks, new rubber beadings screw of original size, fixing with the glass already removed as per the direction and satisfaction of Corporation officers.

Cutting and removing the broken and damaged fender holding brackets, bolts, nuts and wooden bits. Welding a pair of M.S clits size (100mmx100mmx8mm) at an interval of 42cm between the adjacent cleat and around the vessel. Fixing firmly the wooden fender in between the cleats after making 20mm bolt with washer etc complete as per the direction of Corpn, officers (fender of 15cm x 20cm). Fenders will be supplied by KSINC.

Clear removal of the old plastering in various places in the vessel and plastering the cement mortar with 1:3 15 mm thick one coat on various places of the vessel as per the direction of Corpn. Officers. (including material)

Damaged manhole and cover renewal as per the existing size and fitting with packing etc

Fresh water tank fixing and connections to E/R, Kitchen & Toilet excluding cost of tank & fittings.

Propeller shaft bracket fixing & aligning.
