Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.
Extra rate over Item Nos. 1 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres. a) 03 (Three) nos. extra lead.
Earthwork supplied by boat within a lead of 8.0 KM & all lifts for making embankments or for repairs to embankments, closing breaches or for any other purposes including loading, transporting, unloading and spreading in layers of 25 cms as per profile, all lifts bothways and head load including breaking clods, rough dressing ramming etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(measurement will be made on the basis of pre-work & post-work section / stack measurement with due allowance of shrinkage). No extra payment will be made for stacking.
Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. (ii) 12.5 cm av. diameter
Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (iii) (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm. and less than 15 cm. (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary.
Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / Sqm.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.
Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).
Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,(tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag.

Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.
Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris. (b) Double flat soling
Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth. (i) with pumping out water including shoring as required.
Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.

First class Brick work in cement sand mortar in steining of well, pier, abutment, wing wall, parapets cross drain. H.P. culverts, guard wall etc. including curing, scaffolding, raking out joints etc. complete including cost and carriage of all materials. (a) In 1:4 proportion.

Taking out old existing unservicable damaged gate shutter of canal/river completely after disengaging from hoisting system completely for installation of new gate shutter. The work includes cutting of gates into suitable pieces by gas cutting, removing the same by mechanical means or suitable crane, stacking all the pieces at the suitable place or as directed by the Engineer in charge upto a lead of 1000 m. The cost includes cost of man power employed for dismantling and cost of consumables like oxygen, accetylene gas, welding rod, hire charges of machineries, like chain pulley block, gas set, grinding machine, welding set, tools & tackles, scaffolding and safety equipments etc including carriage loading & unloading. The cost of complete dismantling of hoisting system & cost of old unservisable materials handed over to departmental godown including loading & unloading will be provided extra. (a ) Gate shuteer size upto 4.00 sq.m
Supplying, fitting and fixing at site Cast Iron flap shutter for hume pipe sluice with Cast Iron collar and other fittings etc. complete (as per drawing & direction of Engineer-in-charge)including casting the same, necessary drilling etc with carriage to site complete. The Cost includes cost of Materials, Machinaries , Manpower, Cutting, Aligning, drilling, Welding, Finishing, Consumables, Carriages and all overheads with all leads and lifts complete as per specification (without painting).
Cost for dismantling old unserviceable roller path / Guide Channel /seal path etc of gate shutter of River/Canal from existing civil structure for replacement as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.The cost includes cost of man power employed for dismantling. Payment will be made as per actual length of roller path / rubber seal path.
Supplying, fitting & fixing of M.S fabricated pedestal stool of suitable size, consisting of bottom plate, top plate, four nos legs etc febricated with suitable sizes m.s plate, m.s angle conforming to I.S 2062 of latest revision and as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer in charge. The cost includes cost of materials, man power employed for dismantling and fitting fixing, civil works consumables like cutting tools, gas, oxygen, welding rod, anchor bolt of required size, hire charges of machineries, like gas cutting set, welding set, tools & tackles etc including carriage loading & unloading.
Fabrication , supply, erection and commissioning of embeded parts consisting of seal beam, Guide channel with all accessories for vertical gate of canal/river made of MS material consisting of angle, channel, beam, plate, flat etc. conforming to IS 2062 - 2011/latest revision manufactured as per approved drawing and direction including cost of materials, machinaries, manpower, cutting, aligning, anchoring, welding , finishing, consumables, carriage & all overheads with all leads and lifts complete as per specifications (without painting) Remarks: Cost of Civil works to be taken from PWD(R) directorate seperatly (iii) Guide channel
