COMPREHENSIVE MAINT/ REPAIR OF OIL FIRED INCINERATOR AT SMA RAMESWARAM UNDER GE FORT KOCHI

Material and Labour for repairs to Chimney upto a height of 30 M of oil fired incinerator, complete removal of rusted portion and welding of ladder joints installation of new howl (umbrella) including one coat of epoxy paint and 2 coats of heat resistant(upto 3000°C) aluminium painting complete for 100 Kg per hour capacity of Oil Fired Incinerator all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for carrying out of refractory works including refractory materials inside primary and secondary chamber of oil fired incinerator on controlled air incineration principle and provided with not less than 115mm thick refactory and insulation bricks conforming to IS 8-1994 and IS 2042- 2006 to sustain minimimum temperature of 1000 degree centigrade in the primary chamber and 1200 degree cetigrade in secondary chamber complete for 100 Kg per hour capacity of Oil Fired Incinerator all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for repair works to Fully automatic jet type Burner system of oil fired incinerator, including oil pressure adustment connected to common drive for blower and oil pump and Electrode, diffuser plate adjustment, nozzles, burner assembly drawaing the automatic system in burner cuts off the diesel flow once the required temperature is attained inside the chamber, the fuel consumption per hour is 4 to 6 litre during normal operation complete for 100 Kg per hour capacity of Oil Fired Incinerator all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix refractory rings in both layers of packed scrubber of 100 Kg per hour capacity of Oil Fired Incinerator complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix thermocouples of 100 Kg per hour capacity of Oil Fired Incinerator complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for fabrication works including dismatling and reinstallation of existing 1000 Ltrs capacity over head water tank structure, removal of corroded/damaged base plates, fabrication and installation of new base plates as required and reinstallation of water tanks at their original location, including reconnection to existing pipelines, testing and commissioning complete for 100 Kg per hour capacity of Oil Fired Incinerator all as specified and as directed. Note : size of angle iron (50 x 50 x 6)mm and base plate is 5mm thickness including all necessary work and two coats of anti corrosive paint with one coat of primer.

Material and Labour for painting works including painting materials and complete equipment painting after removal of rusts using HR aluminium paint and oxford blue paint as per existing colour code to entire 100 Kg per hour capacity of oil fired incinerator plant and inside area complete all as specified and directed.

Comprehensive annual Maintenance for 100 Kg per hour capacity of oil fired Incinerator system, covering the following:-

(a) Checking the condition of all burners. Overhauling the burners and replacement of Nozzles or ignition rods (b) Checking of any visible damages in refractory lining inside the Primary chamber. Minor patch works would be carried out once the chamber is cooled for entry of service personnel. (c) Checking of charging door, ash doors of both Primary chamber and Secondary chamber for any damages. If there is any minor cracks, damage of wool it shall be rectified (d) Checking of working condition of the bin type loading system and rectifying any small issues in the line and control panel if any. Greasing shall be done by contractor (e) Checking the spray nozzles of the Venturi Scrubber for proper spraying. (f) Checking of all thermocouples for proper sensing of temperature. (g) Checking and cleaning of packing materials placed in 2 layers of the packed scrubber using fresh water.

(h) The moisture separator would be cleaned and its baffles checked for any damages and minor damages shall be rectified. (i) The ID Fan casing would be opened and the soot deposited (if any) shall be cleaned. The impeller shall be washed and its balancing checked and corrected. The vibration of the ID fan bed would also be checked and reported if there is any vibration (j) All the recirculation pumps would be checked and leakages arrested by replacing the mechanical seal. Minor repair works shall be carried out by contactor (k) All ducts shall be checked and soot deposits removed from them (l) Chimney bottom would be opened and cleaned for any deposits (m) The control panels shall be cleaned and minor faulty switches if found damaged shall be replaced (n) Making and submitting monthly inspection/breakdown inspection reports duly signed by user & representative of Engr-in charge (o)Providing breakdown attention of the plant at any number of times during the AMC period in additional to the monthly check/inspection (p) A penalty of Rs 1000 per day shall be imposed if not attended within 48 hours from the time of reporting the break down.
