Providing Sewerage scheme to National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra in Tehsil and District Kangra (HP)

Survey and investigation work for providing a sewerage scheme to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kangra, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, shall be carried out using advanced survey technologies, including Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) and Total Station, with a precision limit of 0.5 cm. The scope of work includes preparation of a nodal plan for the sewerage network, preparation of a site contour plan for the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), measurement and documentation of unit dimensions of existing infrastructure, geotagging of households, marking of proposed sewerage alignments, and preparation of longitudinal sections (L-sections) and cross-sections (X-sections) as required based on site conditions. A reconnaissance survey shall be conducted for the preparation of a digital contour plan with a contour interval of 1.00 meter, clearly showing features such as houses, HT lines, roads, and other major benchmarks as required. Contour plans for the sewerage system at various locations shall be prepared in accordance with the latest norms, along with detailed engineering drawings. All drawings shall be prepared using AutoCAD, and a total of four (04) sets of drawings shall be submitted in both hard copy (properly bound) and soft copy formats, complete in all respects, as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for providing a sewerage scheme to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kangra, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, shall be carried out using advanced technologies, including marking of the proposed sewerage system, selection of suitable technology for the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and design of the STP to achieve the latest effluent discharge standards prescribed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), New Delhi, and the Himachal Pradesh Pollution Control Board (HPPCB). The scope of work also includes preparation of longitudinal sections (L-sections) and cross-sections (X-sections) as required, based on site conditions, in a complete and comprehensive manner. The DPR shall present a complete proposal with detailed design of the sewerage system along with all its components, supported by the latest authentic references, and shall include detailed drawings, measurement details, and an abstract of cost covering all STP components such as the Preliminary Treatment Unit (PTU), distribution box, secondary treatment reactor, sludge dewatering and drying systems, constructed wetland (root zone system), multi-media filter, chlorine contact tank, manhole chambers, inspection chambers, and other associated units. All drawings shall be prepared using AutoCAD, and four (04) sets of drawings shall be submitted in both hard copy (properly bound) and soft copy formats, complete in all respects, as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The technology adopted in the DPR shall conform to the parameters specified in the CPHEEO Manual and shall be capable of achieving the required effluent standards as prescribed by the concerned pollution control authorities.
