MATERIALS AND LABOUR ETC.(C)-(I) MISCELLANEOUS 28.Cleaning rubbish, sludge, weeds scum, liquid earth, mud etc.etc.from road side masonary drain/ hume pipe drain/ culvert etc. by mathor labour after removing concrete.Slab/manhole cover etc.without damaging the same and refixing the same properly after cleaning as necessary and removing thesludge etc.etc.by using iron pans,buckets including all labour, tools & plants including removing the spoils in dry condition and disposing thesame by truck beyond the road side in conformity with municipal/corporation rules for such disposal including loading into truck and cleaning the road side in all respects as per direction of the Engineerin- Charge. (Payment will be made on the basis of actual stack measurment of spoils in dry condition at roadside)
CHAPTER - VII MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS Dewatering by pumps including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal. where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage. breakage and making wet connections. [Note ;- In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering. use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C. who will be satisfied in absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due to any natural source of water or any fault of the Contractor]
BUILDING WORKS (B) DISMANTLING, CUTTING CHASE, HOLES ETC 13. Removal of rubbish,earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal / Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge
BUILDING WORKS (K) PAINTING, VERNISHING ETC?(B)MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS.(3)Removing old paint from blistered painted surface of steel or other metal by chipping including scraping and cleaning and exposing the original surface.N.B.:(Payment against item (1, 2, 3, 4) of subhead B will be made only when done at specific direction of the Engineer- in-charge. Cost of taking out shutter etc.for this item and rehanging the same or changing glass panes cracked or broken in the operation will be deemed to be covered by the rate of this item and no seperate payment therefore shall be made.)

ORIGINAL WORKS 1 (a) Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc (This item is applicable to new work or old work when the original surface has been exposed by removal of old paint.)
CHAPTER - VII MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS Coating of 'Epoxy' Resin of thickness not less than 160 micron with a lowviscosity,crystallization-resistant epoxy resin base with a reactive diluents combined with high build epoxy amine adducts as per BS 5493 standard and a polyamide or amido polyamine or any other suitable hardener. It shall react with epoxy resin at normal ambient temperature, suitable for solvent-free coatings as per recommended proportion for use on metal,concrete and wood surface to protect from corrosion as well as damagefrom chemical reaction after making the surface free from dust, oil and moisture etc. all complete as per instruction and to the satisfaction of ElC. [This item will be operated on prior permission from the concerned SE/Dy Chief Engineer]

Note: (I)The above rates of labour are exclusive of 10% contractors profit and 1% Labour welfare cess which would be admissible to the Contractors, but contractual percentage will not be applicable. (II) The workersemployed on high rise building or any structure over 30 ft in height and also workers engaged in Tunnel shall be paid 20% extra wages.
