PART-A: PLANT OPERATION & ASSOCIATED WORKS

Operation of 0.5 MLD (500 KLD) MBBR technology based Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of M/s. Ion Exchange (I) Ltd. near Brindavan Building in daily three shifts i.e. 24x7x365 days basis for Twelve months as per schedule. The scope of works also include recording of the various operating parameters in required format (i.e. operational log sheet) to be submitted before start of work and informing any abnormal parameters like abnormal readings of the various measuring instruments, safeguarding of the equipment’s from any damage due to their running at abnormal conditions, excessive noise or vibration in the equipment, smell or abnormal heating etc. to the Engineer-In-Charge or his deputed representative all as per the specification enclosed and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-charge (E.I.C.) Note: Bleaching powder & phenyl shall be paid under relevant items of SOQ. The work shall be executed as per clause no. 1 of Schedule I of Specifications.

Supply of Sodium hypo chloride solution ( 10 % to 15% concentration of Chlorine) at required proportion as per instruction of EIC.

PART-C: ASSOCIATED WORKS OF STP

Carrying out calibration of various types pressure gauges through accredited laboratory including making proper setting for within range indication if required & submitting its original calibration certificate having one year’s validity before due date complete as per site requirement

Collection of incoming sewage & outgoing effluent samples from site on monthly basis, delivery & testing of the same at NABET accredited, MOEF, MPCB or Govt. approved laboratory. Sample testing includes the parameters like PH, COD, BOD, TSS, Oil & grease, Dissolved Oxygen (D.O.) & submission of its original test report before 1st week each next month as per instruction and as directed by Engineer-In-charge (E.I.C.). Note: Sealed container for sample collection is in scope of contractor.

Carrying out complete cleaning of following RCC members of MBBR STP unit by removing all existing excretal, sewage, sludge, debris, muddy water etc. complete by mechanical / manual means and disposal of the same to drying bed of old STP including making required pumping arrangement, lifting, loading, unloading, transportation, taking all safety precautions, removing & refixing of bar screens, carrying out all related works etc. complete as per site requirement and as directed by Engineerin-charge.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Air bubble diffuser alongwith membrane made of M/s EDI, USA or equivalent shall consistes of set of EPDM membranes, SS 304 clips, PVC support pipes, PVC fittings, pvc flexible air pipe, nylon rope braided hose with all accessories complete for STP Reactor Aeration Chamber I & II etc. to make it retrievable & to provide clog-free oxygen for aeration tanks as per requirement & as per OEM recommendations. This work includes to carry out complete cleaning of tank to replace damaged diffuser by removing all existing excretal, sewage, sludge, muddy water etc. complete by mechanical / manual means and disposal of the same to drying bed of old STP including making required pumping arrangement, lifting, loading, unloading, transportation, taking all safety precautions, etc. complete as per site requirement & as directed by E.I.C. Type of diffuser: Fine type & Air flow rate : 8 - 12 m3 / hr, Pressure Rating : HDPE/UPVC - 10 kg / cm2 , size of diffuser : 90 mm dia & 1000 mm long & MOC : EPDM. Note: Tank cleaning will be measured & paid seperately as per item no.3.6 of this SOQ.

Carrying out complete cleaning of lamella clarifier with inclined plate mechanism and attending all noticed issues / deficiencies in all respect including supply & fixing of all required materials/spares/hardwares, carrying out repair or replacement of all worn out / damaged parts /inclined FRP plates, carrying out all related works etc. complete as per site requirement. This work includes to carry out complete cleaning of tank to replace damaged FRP plates by removing all existing excretal, sewage, sludge, muddy water etc. complete by mechanical / manual means and disposal of the same to drying bed of old STP including making required pumping arrangement, lifting, loading, unloading, transportation, taking all safety precautions, etc. complete as per site requirement & as directed by E.I.C.

Supply, filling, setting, testing & commissioning of all required medias in appropriate quantum in Activated Carbon Filter of size 2.4m (D) x 1.875 (H) (Capacity =48m3/hr) of STP adopting standard practices / OEM recommendations including removal of all old medias, cleaning, supply & fixing of all required hardwares / spares, disposal of all old medias to drying bed of old STP, carrying out all related works etc. complete as per site requirement. Filtering Media - Activated Carbon Activated carbon filter (ACF) shall be filled with various types of filter media, which are arranged in the following order. 1. The bottom portion of the filter is filled with layers of pebbles of different sizes. a) ¾” x ½” b) ½” x 3/8” 2. The middle portion of the filter is filled with two types of silex. a) Coarse silex of size 3/8”x1/4” b) Fine silex of size ¼”x1/10” 3. The top portion of the filter is filled with Activated carbon.

Filtering Media - Graded Pebbles, Silex, Greaded filering sand ( Grading of sand should be such that particles greater than 75 micron shall not pass through filter.) Muilti grade sand filter filled with various types of filter media, which are arranged in the following order. 1. The bottom portion of the filter is filled with three layers of pebbles of different sizes. a) 1 ½” x 1” b) ¾” x ½” c) ½” x 3/8” 2. The middle portion of the filter is filled with two types of silex. a) Coarse silex of size 3/8”x1/4” b) Fine silex of size ¼”x1/10” 3. Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following items for Ultra violet light system (03 Nos.) as directed & as per instruction of EIC. (Make : M/s. UV Alfa, Model No. 270134049)

Painting of equipments, exposed pipeline, valves & fitting of STP Painting of STP plant & machinery like pumpset, pipeline of different sizes, all valves of different sizes ( butterfly/ NRV/ sluice / gate/ pit/ globe), gear box, motors, electrical panels, blowers etc. all equipments cover under STP. Painting of structural members like M.S. rail, platforms, M.S. supports, S.S. members, G.I. members etc. Painting shall be done by applying the two coat of red oxide as primer and after that two coats of enamel paint of approved make & shade as directed and desired by EIC. Before application of painting, external surfaces of machineries, valves, piping, fitting, accessories etc. shall be thoroughly cleaned to remove rust/scale/oil/dust by scrapping the old paint etc. This item included required painting materials required for this job & also includes the labour charges, wire brushes, emery paper, cotton, thinner, cleaner & all consumables for painting by manually or compressor painting (for electrical panels, air dryer, pipelines, motor & pump) Manual painting for all valves, base frames, safety cover etc. compressor painting for electrical panels, air dryer, pipelines, motor & pump etc. Painting is to be carried out once in a year as directed and instructed by E.I.C.
